We pay monthly to get tune ups twice a year with Standard Heating and air. The technicians that come are always extremely helpful, kind and professional. They are honest and knowledgeable. We had to replace a unit that was 30 years old and they helped us understand all the options. There was an issue with the exhaust freezing after installation and they immediately fixed the issue at no cost. I highly recommend Standard Heating and Air to anyone looking for a fair and honest company.

Jon did a great job cleaning all of the vents in my house. He is very thorough and efficient and I was very pleased with his work. There was some strange metal tape adhesive inside some of the vents and he went above and beyond to make sure it was cleaned out. I can't say enough about what a pleasant experience it has been working with Jon and everyone at Standard.

Cody did a wonderful job. It was my first time with Standard Heating and I will definitely have them for future heating and cooling maintenance. Cody arrived on time, was personable, and explained everything he was doing. And he didn't try to sell me anything! Just did the testing and maintenance, listened and responded... with a smile. Great service!

Very well - within the timeframe expected. The place was left in good order. The person doing the work noticed something else that could be an issue with the furnace (he was aware that my dad was in a senior complex where they have people contracted out for maintenance). So I was able to contact the complex right away - someone came out and even talked to the person from Standard so that they could understand what the issue might be

Jarad arrived on time to service our furnace. Jarad went right to work servicing our furnace. I could tell he knew what he was doing and he did a very thorough job, in fact we signed up for the "Smart Club" for future service of our furnace and air conditioner. Thanks Jarad for a job well done!!

In one word...fantastic. Chad was great. Diagnosed the problem in less than 2 minutes, had the replacement part in his truck, installed, tested and done. Could not have been more pleased. Chad was a pleasure to talk to and I would absolutely hire again. I wish all service calls went this well.

This is the third large project we have had done by Standard. The first was a broken boiler in the winter. The technician showed up the next day and installed a new part within an hour. We called them back to install a ductless AC system in some parts of our old house. And they just updated our central AC system which was 25 years old. The service is excellent and all technicians are polite and knowledgeable. We are very pleased.

I was lucky enough to work with Seth Roe from the beginning! He was always honest, professional and gave me perfect service. Honestly the number one reason I decided to go with Standard was because of Seth's amazing service. He should truly be a role model on how to be an amazing salesman! I would recommend talking to Seth if you ever need any AC/Furnace advice!

Standard Heating and Air technicians were prompt and professional. They were considerate of family members working from home and provided timely information on the status of the work. Our old AC quit working on the first night of the heatwave. We called Standard The next morning, and there was a tech here in 15 minutes, who discovered our 27 year old compressor was burned out. We were scheduled to see a sales rep 6 days out. However, Denise Godwin called the next morning to say she could come the next day at 7am if we didn’t mind getting up early. She arrived right on time, and thoroughly measured and checked everything, with the appropriate mask, gloves, and booties on. She then was able to get us the soonest possible install, which was literally a lifesaver for me due to medical reasons, Everything went according to plan and we are very satisfied with the workmanship, too.

We bought our home two years ago and after some remodeling decided to have the ducts and dryer vent cleaned. Jon and Ryan were knowledgeable, friendly and honest. The work they performed was nothing short of efficient and complete. We also learned things about our system that we didn't know. They answered all of our questions with a professionalism that comes from a deep understanding of their business. We have also used them for replacement of our air conditioner, installation of new thermostats and Chad does an excellent job of maintaining the system twice a year.

When we have an HVAC issue, we just call Standard Heating and Cooling. We have done comparisons and their level of service and price can’t be beat. Our latest service was ducts cleaning. I’m not proud to say that we have not done this in the 14 years we owned our house. It was a big job! First of attempt was delayed after the discovery of asbestos. The technician pointed out the areas of concerns and gave us a referral. The referral (Envirobate, also good!) worked out and we were able to move forward a week later. On the practical side, John and Ryan got to work. They had thorough protocols for the service and general Covid 19 prevention. They kept us updated on their progress and what “little treasures” were found in the ducts. As a sort of “gift with purchase,” John and Ryan also brought a delightful sense of humor which we greatly appreciated in these stressful times. We were a little sad when they left!

We called Standard Heating and Air for a second opinion on our AC repair. The technician from another company (the company who installed our system) diagnosed a bad compressor and recommended a replacement system. The cost of that replacement AC was quoted at $6200 to $9700 for the AC only. Standard Heating came out and Mike the technician did a great job. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable. He diagnosed and repaired the problem all within 30 minutes. Total cost $134 - Fantastic. AC working great now. Also, we did get a quote on an AC system from Standard. Rick did a good job and quoted at $4700 - way cheaper than the other guys. And, yes, the systems were comparable. Thanks.

The service/tune-up to my air conditioning went very well and Jason was extremely professional. Prior to my appointment, Standard had explained to me the safety protocols they have put in place in response to COVID-19 and Jason was well equipped with a face mask, latex gloves and shoe coverings, which more than exceeded my expectation for safety concern. The maintenance process was explained to me before the work was performed and Jason even remembered to turn my thermostat back to the original temperature before leaving my property. Standard has performed several routine maintenance visits and repairs at my residence and I've noticed the consistency among their employees in terms of being friendly, educational and customer oriented - which isn't something you typically see when you are in need of this type of service.

Just completed our annual AC checkup. As usual the service was pleasant, quick, and complete. Casey was an excellent representative for Standard. Our dealings with Standard over the years have always been 1st rate.

Jason was great. He installed the thermostat without a hitch and determined what might be causing the lack air getting to the upper most bedroom. Now I have a plan on how to proceed. I will be contacting Standard when I'm ready for them redo the duct work. Jason also took the neccessary COVID-19 precautions.

Nathan was very knowledgeable and experienced. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and explain the different options to resolve the issue. After choosing an option, he worked on it right away and got it fixed. Would definitely be using them in the future and recommending them to our family and friends.

Richard T, Seth, Mesha and others were all very professional and responsive to our requests during their work here. Mesha started very early and worked tirelessly until finishing just before the rain started around 5:30pm. The installation works perfectly so far and looks good both outside and in our partially finished basement.

Right on time, very professional and personable. This is not the first time I used this company and it definitely will not be the last. Thanks!

Tuneup was great, my technician TJ did an awesome job tuning up the A/C, as well as providing valuable information for some things I can do to optimize the performance and life of my A/C unit. Excellent service all around.

The initial consultation was beyond my expectations. During the nearly 2 hours the representative was here, she provided invaluable education about my current HVAC system, measured the air velocity coming out of each and ever register, made recommendations for where repairs should be made (upon install of the new AC) and where Standard would install an air return where there is not one currently. Communication has been excellent. I truly value the professionalism and the immense knowledge of all those I've dealt with. And the after-install services are nothing at all that I expected. If I ever need to replace any other major appliance in my home Standard will be my first call. In addition, it was important to me that Standard is a community-focused company that is a major supporter of the Hennepin County Library's Pen Pal Series and funds a variety of nonprofits--from the animal humane Society to the Northside Achievement Zone.

Amonti, their technician, did an excellent job. He was on time, very thorough in his inspection of my furnace (he even crawled in to check for rust). In addition to doing a very professional job, he was a delight to talk to. We had a nice conversation as he worked on our unit. I have been pleased with Standard Heating and Air Conditioning in the past and will continue to use them for maintenance on my furnace and air conditioning in the futurre.
