I ended up working with 3 different technicians, which was slightly annoying, but worked out very well. All 3 were very polite, prompt and did excellent work. They provided great information on how to maintain my furnace. Scheduling appointments can be difficult with my irregular schedule and they made it work so that all of the work could get done in the minimum amount of time. I highly recommend them.

They were cordial, and they knew what they were doing. The salesman was great, very personable and informative.

They were courteous, but not particularly quick (had to call to get them to come back and finish the work after waiting a week or two). It seemed expensive, but I have no frame of reference.

GREG WAS ABLE TO COME TO OUR HOUSE THE DAY WE ASKED FOR HELP. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND WORKED VERY QUICKLY. UNFORTUNATELY, THE PART HE NEEDED WAS UNAVAILABLE THE DAY HE CAME, BUT HE HAD THE PART COURRIERED TO OUR HOUSE THE NEXT MORNING AND HE ARRIVED SHORTLY THEREAFTER TO DO THE WORK. HE HAD OUR FURNANCE UP AND RUNNING IN 15 MINUTES. THE STAFF ANSWERING THE PHONES WERE ALSO VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

The overall experience was good; however, it was costly for about 30 minutes of work.

John was able to work around my schedule and come after I got home from work. Ended up stressing more about his company then the product he was selling me. For the price he wanted (selling his service) I decided to go with another company I have used in the past. The cost was much higher then others (however the brand of furnace was different).

The company re-arranged their planned work to service our emergency. They were here in less than 1/2 hour after I called on a same request for service. They were outstanding! Dave was courteous, considerate and VERY competent.

While it was frustrating to find my furnace needed replacing, the representative was professional, informative, and kind. I'll do business with them again.

Nathan, the service technician, was pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough in his work, repair and inspection. Nathan was on-time, and completed all work promised or requested in a timely manner. Nathan took the time to instruct me on the setting of the Aprilair unit since I knew nothing about the operation of this humidifier. I was pleased with the work completed, and I will ask for Nathan on my next service visit.

This was very discouraging. Fortunately it was not a severely cold January! If you did not have someone perform work why is cost a required field? I made up a number so you would get this feedback!

The technician was pleasant, on-time, and had a good suggestion. We ultimately went with a less invasive option with another company. Standard followed up on the proposal within a week to see if we wanted the work performed.

The first guy said we needed a new furnace. When the old one was being dismantled, another guy said that he was supposed to hook up the gas and he looked it over and said he didn't think it was that old and didn't need a replacement. Hallelullah said the wife who had that $$ set aside for Mexico. So, he replaced a few parts, didn't charge me for them, and made me promise to have it inspected at a later date. Only problem was, the guy that was cutting through the plenum had unplugged the freezer to use the outlet and didn't plug it back in! What a smell! I told them about it and they sent us a check to cover the loss of lots of meat. So I can say this: customer satisfaction is a high priority for them. Employees can make mistakes but I don't think you can go wrong w/ Standard Heating.

POLITE SERVICE PERSON WAS VERY EXPERIENCED, AND INFORMATIVE, GIVING POINTERS ON GOOD FURNACE MAINTENANCE. HE CHECKED THE FURNACE THOROUGHLY, CLEANING COMPONENTS AND REPLACING FILTERS. CHECKED FOR CO2. ALSO CHECKED THE WATER HEATER. CHEERFUL PERSON.

Standard heating arrived and quickly determined that the sensors on my furnace needed cleaning. He promptly fixed the problem, explained what he was doing and offered a few suggestions for future performance. He completed the work in about 30 minutes and was very polite and efficient.

Generally very good experience. They worked well determining what we needed and making sure we understood the choices available. Could have explained a bit better about different scheduling issues, i.e. needing to have an electrician come separately.

Salesman was on time, very efficient at preparing the estimate. Followup was good, and he arranged financing. Installation was easy to arrange, the installer arrived on time, and seemed to do a good job. HOWEVER, a week later, when the temperature fell to -10, the furnace failed! It turned out that it was an incomplete installation, a lid on a water pump was not snapped into place, that caused a safety shutoff switch to trip. This would have been disastrous if I had been out of town! I asked for a followup checkup, and that went smoothly.

Jarrod arrived promptly for the original estimate. He offered multiple options and answered all of my questions about the equipment. The installation by Matt and company was well done -- the city inspector even commented on what a nice job they did.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. HE EXPLAINED A COUPLE OF THINGS REGARDING THE FURNANCE UNIT AND WHAT I COULD DO TO MAINTAIN IT BETWEEN SERVICE CALLS.

IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. ORIGINALLY MY DATE WAS ON MONDAY BUT THEY HAD A CANCELLATION AND ASKED IF I WANTED IT DONE EARLIER, WHICH I MOST DEFINITELY DID. HE WAS ON TIME, COURTEOUS, DESCRIBED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

SAT. DEC. 3RD MY WIFE AND I CAME HOME FROM A NIGHT OUT AND OUR FURNACE WAS OFF. THE TEMP OUTSIDE WAS 12 AND INSIDE IT HAD DROPPED TO 57. WE CALLED FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE AT 12:30AM AND THEIR ANSWERING MACHINE SAID WE SHOULD EXPECT A CALL IN ABOUT 2 HOURS. AT 2:20AM WE GOT A CALL AND THE PERSON SAID THEY COULD COME BETWEEN 5-6AM. THEY ARRIVED AT 5:30 AND FIXED THE PROBLEM WITHIN HALF AN HOUR. I WAS MOST IMPRESSED BY BEING STRAIGHT FORWARD WITH HOW LONG I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR A CALL BACK AND WITH THE TIMELINESS OF THE RESPONSE. THE PERSON DOING THE SERVICE WAS VERY NICE AND FAST AT FIXING THE PROBLEM. HE ALSO ASKED A LOT OF QUESTIONS BEFORE COMING SO THAT HE WAS PREPARED WITH IDEAS ON SOLUTIONS.

DENNIS, THE SALESMAN, WAS EXCELLENT. I WAS GOING TO GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AS THEY WERE CHEAPER, BUT DENNIS WORKED WITH ME TO BRING HIS ORIGINAL ESTIMATE DOWN A BIT. THEIR ABATEMENT TEAM (WHO I PAID $1500 SEPARATELY) WAS GREAT AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE FURNACE INSTALLER DID A GOOD JOB AS WELL. HE ACCIDENTALLY CAUSED A PIPE TO LEAK WHILE PUTTING THE DUCT WORK IN, BUT THEN FIXED AND RE-SOLDERED THE CONNECTION.

THEY WILL MATCH PRICES AND I BELIEVE I GOT A GREAT PRICE. INTERVIEWED SEVERAL COMPANIES AND THE STANDARD SALESPERSON WAS THE MOST THOROUGH. HE SPENT TWICE AS LONG MEASURING AND INSPECTING BEFORE HE SUBMITTED A BID. THEY WERE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT WOULD REPLACE THE LINES FROM THE COMPRESSOR TO THE A/C; THE OTHER COMPANIES WERE GOING TO USE THE OLD LINE. THE INSTALL PERSON WAS ON TIME AND DID THE JOB IN A DAY. THEY DELIVERED ON ALL PROMISES. I AM VERY SATISFIED.

I HAD USED THEM PREVIOUSLY FOR REPAIR. THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK.
