Went very well. Sales person was on time, knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us answering all questions. He had a lot of data, made measurements, and accommodated us well. We were able to negotiate a lower price that came close to matching bids from other companies. We were able to schedule within 2 days. The workers showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. The furnace works great so far.

Low pressure salesman. He explained very well what would work best in our house, and why. It was all done in one day. One crew came in to haul the old furnace and deliver the new. A second group showed up to make the connections. The whole thing was done very professionally and the workmanship looks very good.

I called three different companies the evening my furnace wasn't heating properly. Standard was the first company to call me back early in the morning as requested. They were able to give me a time slot that day. I went to work and was promised a phone call 30 minutes prior to service. I received my 30 minute call and was able to meet the tech at my home. After explaining my problems to Nathan, he explained the problem with the furnace. The costs were explained to repair/clean the furnace and the work was completed in 30 minutes. Standard also checked my water heater and advice was given about a small leak. I felt the technician, Nathan was knowledgeable, professional, and really enjoyed his job and working for Standard. Standard had a higher price for a service call than other companies but I felt the service was worth the cost.

They did a great job when coming out to the house to give me an estimate. The salesman was very knowledgeable and not pushy. But once I agreed to buy the unit and he e-mailed me the paperwork to sign (so I could get in before the sale price expired), he was difficult to get ahold of again. He told me that someone would be calling me to schedule an installation appointment within a day or two, as our old furnace was not usable and cold weather was upon us earlier than expected. The girl at the office never did call me, I had to call her. I left a message for her (7:30 am) asking to call me ASAP as over a week had gone by and I didnt want other customers to get in the line-up before me. She never did return my call, I had to call her back at 4:30 that day. 1 1/2 weeks later they installed the new furnace. The installation went smoothly, or so I thought at the time - Ill save that for my next review. The guys were very good and accommodating to the tight space and cleaned everything!

They did good work and had great prices. They were prompt, professional, and clean.

As a whole it went very well. It would have been helpful if a bit more of overview information were given about how the furnace should work. I also did have to call them back to install a damper in the humidifier bypass flue, but they were very courteous and prompt about that. Their service and parts warranty far exceeded any of the other 4 companies that bid on my project, and I look forward to having prompt and efficient service if any problem does occur.

During work the thermostat wires were damaged. They found this problem and fixed it without additional cost. The next morning the furnace was not working properly. They returned, worked for a couple of hours to find another electrical problem, repaired it, all without an additional charge. They also added a fuse to protect the transformer. I loved the thoroughness of their work. Great service!!! I will definitely use them again.

Company was very professional and responsive. Sales rep, Brad Link, was very professional and explained all of my options. The installer arrived on time and was very professional. Work was completed to my satisfaction, although I haven't received an invoice as of two weeks after completion. Furnace works great!

The technician found a cracked heat exchanger on a routine maintenance appointment. I researched and consulted 4 different salesmen from 3 different companies. The first salesman did not impress me, so I requested another. The second recommended a different furnace than the first. The technician, Bryan, was professional, thorough, attentive, and spent time answering questions. He went beyond. The other technician, David, was equally professional and courteous. It was a positive experience.

The work was done professionally. The people I worked with were very easy to deal with. My furnace blower was going bad, so they moved up the work date to accommodate me.

Standard conducted a routine inspection of our 18-year old furnace, and detected a crack in the heat exchanger. The defect was shown to me and an appointment was immediately scheduled to meet with a sales person regarding replacement. The sales person conducted a very thorough review of our home and outlined the options available for the equipment we needed. We ultimately did decide to hire Standard, based on its customer history and the project was handled in a prompt and professional manner, including a special effort to schedule us before out of town guests were to arrive.

They were responsive to my phone call, were on time and finished without a snag. I had them install my furnace three years ago and they did a great job on that also.

The serviceman was punctual, which was important since I had to take time away from work. He inspected and cleaned everything to be sure that my heating and air conditioning would all be operating at peak performance. The $175 covered a furnace inspection and tune-up in the fall and a return trip in the spring to make sure the the air conditioner was ready to handle the demanding summer heat. The serviceman was professional and efficient.

Mike responded quickly for my request for a quote and made an appointment. He arrived on time and carefully considered my needs. I was not comfortable with his suggestion of using a heat pump in Minnesota and chose another company to do the work.

It was late afternoon on THE hottest day of the year and our 18 year-old air conditioner literally blew up. We called Standard, told them we were in a "no cool" situation and they sent their sales representative over the very next morning. He was incredibly knowledgeable and we were able to make the decision on our new unit within 45 minutes. The new air conditioner was installed 24 hours after we made our purchase decision. So, within 48 hours of our initial call, we had central air conditioning again.

I have a home with radiator heat and the air conditioning is in the attic. I needed to have the air conditioning replaced. I had four companies come out for an estimate. Standard was the most expensive, but they did the most thorough rob on the estimate including fully inspecting the attic. The only downside is that they crushed my flowers while installing the air conditioning. System seems to work great.

Had furnace inspected after house inspector recommended tune-up as it was ''running at only 80% efficiency.'' The burners were cleaned and he even put it the new filter that was sitting off to the side.

The service tech Shane did not try to sell us a new a/c. He explained that it may not last us much longer, but that we'd try recharging it first. It lasted all summer thank goodness. He also suggested we sign up for their maintenance program for our furnace. He did a great job explaining how it paid for itself, but was not pushy.

The furnace was making a strange noise, and he immediately knew it was the motor. He replaced it and cleaned the blower. The person was here on time, was very professional, and certainly knew his business. We would hire them again.

Great! The salesperson (Dennis) was professional and helped with the pricing and the installers worked hard, quick, and efficiently. I was very pleased.

They were one time, professional and fixed the problem quickly. They recommended additional repair of about $700 or replacement of the unit.
