My furnace stopped working and I called Standard Heating around noon. Nathan was at the house working on it before 6PM that same day. He had to replace the furnace motor because it basically "caught fire" due to the amount of dust and debris. In additional to installing a new more powerful motor, he also cleaned the entire furnace which I thought was above and beyond. Too bad Center Point didn't do that when I had them out for their "annual" service not even 2 months prior to that!!! I would highly recommend Standard Heating and plan on using them again.

It went well. All participants from start [salesman] to technicians knew what they were doing.

I've been using them for about ten years now. They are very efficient and very reliable. It's amazing how quickly they are able to get things done. They do it well. They are consistent and very professional. All I have to do is make a phone call, and they would pretty much take care of things from there. For me it is good value. They seem to be pretty good respectors of our time unlike some places. They are pretty consistent that way. I would recommend them to anybody.

They were well rated on Angie’s List. They came out and assessed the problem with the furnace and determined it was a bad igniter I think and replaced the part. I would use them again in the future.

The price was good. The quality of their work was good; the furnace still works. I will use them again in the future.

Nathan was prompt, polite and very professional! He kept us informed of all items that he was installing and fixing and why he was doing the work. He extended our gas line so we could actually get gas to our stove. He determined the original valve (installed at the time our house was built) was the incorrect valve and replaced it to prevent dangerous gas leaks. Once all was installed, he connected our stove, moved it into place, and he checked thoroughly for leaks. He even explained to us a great deal about our new stove (like what the BTUs mean) and checked that all burners and both ovens worked. What a great experience!

The work was good, and I was satisfied. They did what they were supposed to do. They have offices all over the metro area. Overall, my experience with them was good. I don’t remember anything negative in terms of their punctuality; I think they were probably here on time. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

The work was great. They spent a lot of time working with me to find a great unit in my price range. They also did excellent work installing additional duct work for my finished basement. Everyone that came to the house was very professional.

Each man who came into our house introduced himself, put on protective foot coverings and mats to protect our floors and carpets, and conscientiously made sure the work was done to a high standard. before they did anything, each man talked to me about what he was going to do and then, when done, showed me what was done, answered any questions. I felt confident that my furnace was being installed by professionals.

The tech. was very interested in doing a good job and was quite thorough, good attitude and good work habits, very pleased with the service provided.

I found them through Angie’s List and bought a big deal from them. They were very punctual and realized that there was an important issue and came as soon as they could, which was very nice. They gave the estimate and were very accurate on what it would cost. They ordered the part on a weekend and it came the following Monday. They were out the next day to fix it. The technician was just extremely nice and very accommodation. He was very polite and overall I just couldn’t have been more pleased with the service I got from them. They were superb. I would absolutely recommend their services to others. In fact, I have purchased a plan where they do an inspection twice a year. It’s actually quite a deal for us because it ended up saving money for us at the end. It was a major repair and the price was pretty fair.

It was a little difficult to schedule, but the service was good. He took a look at the furnace while he was there and gave some free recommendations.

The pverall experience was pretty good. The salesman was quite convincing that a new high efficiency furnace would take care of our hot/cool spots in the house. He was a little aggressive to get our business (I tend to prefer the non-pressure approach) and gave us a short deadline for getting the "special" price. The actual installation went fairly smoothly. One of my biggest concerns was having new outside venting that looked unattractive from the front of the house or was hamful to any of my landscape and he convinced me that was not going to be an issue. However, the outside venting pipe was aimed at a group of trees and blowing toxic condensation toward them and to the front of the house which was not attractive. When I complained, they were very responsive and modified and redirected it and it seems fine now (as long as my trees survive , but only time will tell). So far we are fairly satisfied with our new furnace and the comfort level of our home, but havent received a gas bill yet so can't confirm whether the high efficiency unit will lower our heating bills. Also still have one cold spot in the house that we may have to address. There are still a couple of outstanding issues that I can't make a judgement on yet.: 1) We're waiting for our rebate from CPoint Energy which Standard was in charge of submitting. We also have a rebate coming from Excel on the A/C, but they apparently wont send that in until they can turn the unit on in the spring when it warms up. 2) Also, we're not able to confirm the operation of the A/C until the spring. Update: all issues satisfactorily resolved!

We had a coupon from the Chinook Book for a heating inspection & tune up. It took a while to schedule, as it is heating season & there were many service calls that take priority. The Scheduler was very nice on the phone & worked to get a date & time that worked. The Tech that come out was professional, punctual, courteous & efficient. He did a 30+ point check of our furnace (& CO for our water heater), including cleaning the furnace insides. I would recommend them & consider using them in the future for any service calls.

I was greatly worried when the pump failed. I did not know whether a pump for a system that old would still be available. Or, whether the whole boiler would have to be replaced. The only problem for me was that no one at Standard could assure me that this pump was easily replaceable or could possibly be repaired.until the technician actually made a service call. I suppose this is usual in these circumstances but if they would have explained that on the first phone call the work could have been completed one day earlier. As it was the technician completed the job in under an hour and heat was restored.

They did a great job. They came out and did a full heat loss calculation on my house, recommended several appropriate replacement options and then did the installation as promised. The workers were prompt and professional, they took away all the old equipment and cleaned everything up before they left.

First of All, I want to make sure that this report stays within customers and clients.If this report goes to this company and if they find out who I am, I will be not very happy and will ask consequences. We had major work done in our Victorian home and installed fairly extensive system. We bid out 3 major companies from this site and evaluated and choose this company since sales guy was personable and company was big enough to handle the scope of work. Installer and technical guys does good job but I have to say it is unfortunate that sales person is misleading.I think he has an ADHD which what he said in the meeting never followed-up and I have to babysit. He said it will take 5 days after we evaluated with technical staff and it ends up taking almost 3 weeks.also, this person is very hard to work with based on deferred loan experience. CEE wants me to pay everything except deferred loan amount. I explained to him at the final walk-through. We used deferred loan program 2 times before.But, Sales person took my credit card number and charged final full amount without even sending an e-mail. I was able to work with CEE but lack of communication just turned me off. He sent this e-mail without calling or e-mail me about my availability. " I have attached an itemized change order, per your request. You will find I only added the cost for relocating the supply on the highwall in the kitchen and not for opening the wall, as I elected to cover that portion of the work for you. Josh will return on Monday between 12 and 2 PM to install the register cover for the kitchen supply and likely perform the rebate test, as the outdoor temperature should exceed 55 degree F, which is what Xcel requires for an accurate performance test. He will also test the heat pump functionality. Regarding the payment terms, we billed for final payment as agreed upon in the original contract, which stated 50% due at start and 50% upon substantial completion. There should be no issue reimbursing you for monies received from CEE, but as we have no documentation from them regarding your project, nor any guarantee of payment from them, there is no option for us to delay payment for work we have already completed. Kindest Regards," It is obvious that sales person is a horrible communicator which I can see future customers will be very frustrated. They seems don't understand scheduling takes two parties to make it work. I am ok with work but cannot compare since this is first HVAC work. I am not sure I will recommend this company to others since you almost have to read their minds to figure out what they will do next. If he told me they cannot support deferred loan program at the final walk-through, I would have call CEE and found a solution after all. BTW, I am a professional in building industry with 15 years experience so I know what other commercial professionals do in HVAC industry.

Called in for appointment. Courteous service. Appointment made on time. All questions answered. I am very satisfied with Standard Heating.

The company rep called me to schedule the appt which surprised me and made it easy to get started. I received a call 30 minutes prior to arrival as I was promised. All work was completed and the service man was knowledgeable and courteous.

Standard gave an estimate, after measuring everything. We selected an installation date, they installed as promised. It couldn't have gone more smoothly.

Standard had installed a new furnace/AC system a year ago. When the system suddenly didn't work we placed a service call that was answered within 24 hours. The serviceman identified problem as a tripped circuit breaker and explained how to identify the problem if it should occur again. He explained that this can happen even without a system failure. No charge and no further problems. This new furnace/AC system have worked like a charm (with that one exception).

I would not call them back. They do not seem to have the knowledge needed to provide the service and they do not listen to customers.

Sales consultant Arla came to my house in the evening to do house measurements, check out the existing furnace and air conditioner, discuss all the options, and give me a quote. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I also asked her whether they could re-do my horrendous dryer venting at the same time as the installation. She stated that this would not be a problem and the charge would be $200. I was comfortable enough to sign a contract that evening. I very much enjoyed working with Arla and even my cat liked her! The installation went very well. Adam was the installer and Tom was the gas fitter. Both did an excellent job. They answered all my questions, explained all the new equipment, and cleaned up the area before they left. Tom did a great job of re-doing my dryer venting so it looked professional and was up to code. All in all a very good experience.

My husband and I installed central air in my son's new house as a housewarming (cooling) present. We received the estimate to install central air on the evening of 8/1/2011 and the installers were there on 8/2/2011 at 9AM. The unit was installed and running by 11:30 AM. The installers cleaned up after themselves and hauled away everything. Needless to say, my son and his wife were excited to have their central air installed so quickly when the heat index was around 106 degrees. I will use Standard Heating and Air Conditioning again

Everything went well. They were timely, courteous, and efficient. I left the door open for them and there were absolutely no problems. They even locked up afterwards.
