The service person arrived on time, was very professional, courteous, and informative. He even hosed off the outside of my air conditioner unit. I have an older system, and he checked it out and said I have a few more good years on it. I appreciated his honesty, rather than trying to sell me a new one. I will definitely call them again in the future.

My central air conditioning stopped working during one of the hottest summers on record. I went online to their website to request a service appointment and received a call back within an hour. They were able to get someone out the next day to diagnose the issue and were able to make the repairs the following day. They would have been able to make them the same day except that the technician needed to get the right parts. This all happened while I was out of town and had to leave my teenage son in charge of dealing with the issue. The technician was very polite to him and did not try to sell him more than we needed to fix the AC. This company is great.

The service technician listened to me explain what was happening. He felt that it was just due to old age and that all symptoms were typical of what happens as the unit approaches the last few years of performance. He inspected a few items to make sure including the condensation hose to the furnace unit. He gave me some advice on how to make the unit last as long as possible and informed me of sales events that would be coming up in the fall and spring. There was no pressure to buy. The technician was very helpful and knowledgable about the product. He charged me nothing for the call and did not try to do service work that would not have made a difference anyway. I appreciated his honesty and integrity. We will be purchasing a new unit from Standard Heating when the time comes.

The service was great! Mike came over and after a quick analysis figured out the board was bad in the fan. He ordered one on Friday and came back on Tuesday (when he received it) to install it. He was professional, friendly and easy to like! I really love good customer service and this guy is a joy to work with!

Our air conditioner stopped working so we gave Standard a call. They did respond very quickly and had it running again after the inspection and refrigerant was added. However, a day later it stopped again. Had them back out and turned out they then found a coil leak. They put more refrigerant in and ordered the part, and came out a few days later to replace. The repair was a little high we thought and they did lower it a bit to $1100 (in addition to the $258 we paid initially). Our home warranty only covered $500 of that total. But Chris, the technician was very great, hardworking and professional. The air is now running well and have had no further problems.

Turns out the hose was blocked with goo or something. The technician replaced the hose w a larger one and now we are golden. We bought one of their coupons, so the service was a little cheaper than originally quoted. Unfortunately, they were so busy, they couldn't come out right away. (perhaps they could have if I paid for an "emergency" call) But great service, nonetheless.

He was very professional, and went out of his way to explain what he was doing. Great attitude. He noticed a couple of things unrelated to the tune-up, too, and addressed them. I would definitely recommend Standard.

I bought my last furnace and AC unit from them and they have purchased yearly contracts for maintenace. This company is very professional and give reminders in the mail for your tune ups. They are also very respectful of the home and wear "booties" when walking in your home.

The entire process was flawless and of the highest quality. This unit was purchased under a seasonal promotion. The salesman took all the time I needed to review and fully understand options. The price quoted was as expected. The work required two crews - one to add an electrical circuit and one to install the AC unit. Both guys were spot on time, the AC installer arriving not 30 minutes after the electrical work was done. Start to finish was less than four hours, and everything was so tidy and clean immediately afterwards that the only way to tell that work was recently done would be to note the caulk hadn't set. As far as I can see there's no reason for me to look elsewhere for residential HVAC work - Standard Heating will get all my business so long as I live in the region.

I signed up for the service and paid for it on line. I received a call the next day and Standard was able to schedule the appointment for 7/12/2012, the same week. The service man arrived on time. I showed him where the equipment was then lett him alone. He service the air conditioner and talked to me about it when he had finished. He did not try to sell me a new unit but factually told me what I had and what would need to be done. He was very friendly, professional and efficient. As my unit is near the end of its service life, I will be calling Standard to replace it. I would most certainly use them again and would highly recommend them.

I was absolutely delighted by the professionalism of the service and outcome of the repair. I will always go back to these guys for repairs, even though I have a preventative service plan on my major appliances with another vendor.

We got a call from Standard Heating the next day after we bought the package and an appointment was arranged before the end of the week. I was presently surprised by the reponsiveness of the process. The technicial showed up on tme and get the A/C Tuneup within a couple of hours.

The project took longer than the serviceman originally anticipated, but he did not charge for the extra time over and above what he estimated. He was professional, diligent, on time and got the job done in a superior way with minimal repairs needed to the basement ceiling. When the line in our old house took an unexpected turn, he found the best and right solution. An added nice service element was that the central office called to make sure the serviceman had gotten there on time. Very professional. We will definitely call them again.

I have used Standard Heating and AC for years, but this is my first review on them. I called them recently to fix the AC at a rental unit I own. As always, they delivered. The repair person was prompt (called me in advance that he was on the way), quicky found the problem and repaired the issue. I don't know if they are the lowest cost provider as I use them for all my heating and AC needs, but they always fix the problem the first time and are great to work with. All of their repair people are very professional. Ihighly recommend them and they will definately continue to get mu business!

Extremely happy with Standard AC. Having used two other well-known companies the past two years and being mislead about needs (and one even over-filling the system with freon - causing huge inconvenience and a return trip in 100 degree temps last summer) I can now stop playing contractor roulette each year. The serviceman showed up exactly as scheduled, knew exactly what he was doing, and took that time to explain each step. Real pros. Recommend without any hesitation at all.

FIXED THE VALVE, FAR TOO EXPENSIVE TO FIX A SMALL VALVE ON A HUMIDFIER..IT WENT POORLY BECAUSE IT WAS SO OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE NEVER AGAIN. USE SOMEONE ELSE

After speaking to several companies regarding replacement of my AC, I chose Standard because of professionalism, explanation of the process and various AC's available, low sales pressure, cost. Everything was done on time, with a minimum of mess, and the city inspector came out and told me the job was well done.

Fantastic! Standard performed this very big job with efficiency, clarity, and professionalism throughout. They completed all the work in a single week, just as they had promised. Craig, the primary installer, was pleasant and quite good at his work. The ducts actually look pretty. And our basement and all work spaces were left completely clean. Standard came back to help when we found that the A/C wasn't cooling the second story sufficiently and fixed that by adjusting some duct dampers. All their work passed city inspection with no problem. Overall, we were impressed with how well they explained everything, especially Steve, and how well they understood the job and how it would go. Finally, we felt that the price was very reasonable given the size of this job. Hire with confidence.
