Joe and Nate (if I remember correctly) from Standard Heating showed up right on time and upon explaining the problem and showing them the furnace immediately identified the problem (one of the burners wasn't lighting). They walked me through the whole process, explaining at each step what they were doing and why. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by how personable and professional the technicians were. Overall I felt they were extremely honest and trustworthy. I am very pleased with the service and would gladly give them my business in the future.

My A/C stopped working on the Saturday of Labor day weekend. I called around to a few other places. Most did not answer given it was a holiday weekend. Others could not make it out until the following week. When I called Standard Heating expecting the same thing I was shocked to learn that they had a tech in my area and would be at my house in 20 minutes. The tech arrived in 10 minutes and had my A/C working again in less than an hour. Also gave me some great advise and helped tune my fan speed. Fantastic service and I will be using them for all my HVAC needs in the future.

Very professional. On time and called ahead to let us know he was on the way. Kept us updated on everything he was doing or needed to do. Friendly and loved all our animals. Will definately use again and will recommend.

Boiler was taking forever to fill. It took a little for them to realize that my water lines are probably clogged because of old pipes. Things are working now after a little cleaning and extra pressure.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal for a furnace tune-up for a home I just moved into. They were prompt and professional, answered my questions not only about the furnace, but air conditioner and humidifier as well. I signed up for their "Smart Plan" while they were here, as I was pleased with the company, knowledge, pricing, and responsiveness.

I just moved into a very, very old home with a very, very old boiler and wanted to know how it works and how to maintain it. As it starts to get colder old, I wanted to make sure everything is running properly. I called Standard on a Wednesday and they were able to get workers out that Friday. Nathan and Joe came out and explained the system in a clear and professional manner. They stated they've never actually seen a system that old before (my house was built in 1893), but that the system looked clean and like it had been serviced regularly for many years. While it may not be the most efficient, I hope there will be no issues with it for many years as long as it's inspected and maintained regularly. I was very happy with the knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness of the service. I will call Standard in the future for any issues.

We called to set up an appointment and were treated with great courtesy on the phone. We were able to set up an appointment easily and the employee showed up as scheduled. He was very polite, efficient, and thorough. He thoroughly cleaned the A/C, checked all the connections and the refrigerant. The refrigerant was low so he added what was necessary and made sure the valve was closed tightly to avoid any leakage. It was amazing how quickly he performed all of this and we were very pleased. For all he did, the price of $68. was quite the bargain. Our A/C has performed much more efficiently since then.

The technician who responded was extremely courteous and professional. He not only explained the diagnosis of the problem thoroughly, he also explained the fix and took the time to inspect the rest of the furnace. He also advised me of an Angie's List discount I was eligible for and received. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the service, courtesy, and workmanship of this company. I will absolutely hire them again.

Although the company cancelled my first scheduled appointment, they rescheduled and did perform the maintenance. They were prompt and professional.

Explained how the older unit was holding up well, did not require any expensive replacement or repairs, simply a little routine maintanance. Very professional and trustworthy.

I learned of a coupon deal for a new furnace for $2088 through a friend at work. I purchased a house in August. When I had the inspection I learned that the furnace had a cracked ignitor, the bank dropped their price by $2500 to put in a new furnace. I had him come out to give me the estimate, I was impressed with the saleman customer service so I decided to go with them and they dropped the price another $100 because I decided to buy that day. I called and arranged the time with them a couple weeks later. I was at work during the installation and had a friend there. My current furnace was wired into a circuit that had other items on it, they recommended it have it's own circuit. They sent an electrician out the next day to re-wire and did not charge me extra. I was thourougly impressed with their customer service and will definitely use them again.

Overall the service went well and it was quick. We had no major issues with Standard.

II found this company through Angies List. I called and made an appointment and was told they had a 3-hour window (2-5p on a Saturday) when the service provider would come. He called at 2:30 and arrived shortly thereafter. Dean was very genial, patient and professional. He thoughtfully put paper covers over his shoes, patiently answered my many questions about general furnace maintenance as well as what was needed to handle the repair he was addressing, and discussed in length the several payment options available to me. He provided a temporary fix for the inducer fan which was out of alignment and educated me as to what costs to expect in both the short- and long-term. I recommend this company and this repairman with full confidence and will definately use them again.

Very well. Repair man showed up on time and at the earliest part of the delivery window. He complained about the condition of my air filter (which they all do, as they want you to change them out every month), thinking this was my problem. Upon further review, it was discovered that due to the storm that happened over the weekend and the loss of power, when the power was restored it caused a power surge and blew the circuit board, quite extensively. He had an extra board in his truck and was able to replace and fix (felt this was a bit pricye). He then recommended annual service with good reasons why. Also letting me know that there was a possibility of a part recall to my brand of furnace and this would be caught at the annual service check. He did not remove prior company stickers, but did add his. He also talked very highly about the company and how they treat their employees. Very happy with service and will definitely use again.

Service was performed well and came out as expected. They even answered my questions well and explained what they were doing after I asked.

In the course of performing A/C tune up he help with filter exchange and simple (temporary) fix for a plugged drain pan. The drain pan was the main thing I was concerned about and he handled the tune up and what I wanted deftly.

It went very well. He had the part in his truck even though our air conditioner is probably over 30 years old.

We renovate homes and sell them. After purchasing the last home, we ran the A/C the first day and got water backing up. I called the # for Std Heating and A/C and actually was able to arrange to have a technician meet me within 90 minutes of the call. They determined that the drain hose was clogged and while there did a thorough inspection of the furnace for the standard trip charge! Great service, wonderful professional technician, all around great experience!

Our technician Jason was able to plan to arrive early today, and the main office called to make sure that was OK with my schedule. Jason made sure that all of my questions were answered. Even though the a/c unit that their company installed 24 years ago for the previous homeowners did not need to be replaced today, I am considering purchasing a new unit from them anyways due to the long-term energy savings, and I know that I can rely on Standard to do a great job every time.
