Went very well. Tech was in and out in 15 minutes and the fix worked well.

The technician dispatched could not find any issue with the furnace, but while inspecting it he notified me that the aux. heat exchangers on these Carrier/Bryant furnaces had a lawsuit that was filed on it, and as a result ,if I replaced it prior to 20 years old I would get a large credit from Carrier/Bryant good towards a new Bryant/Carrier furnace or the aux heat exchanger would be replaced free of charge if done by a licensed bryant/carrier dealer. The technician advised me that my aux. heat exchanger was "as bad as he had ever seen". I saw no point in putting $500-800 into an 18 year old furnace so I decided to price out a replacements due to Standards technician's findings.

Had to have them come out three times before the problem was fixed. While I was not happy with the inconvenience of the three visits and having to take off work, they were willing to keep coming back until the problem was resolved. I appreciated the fact that the service manager called to discuss the problems I was experiencing.

We signed up for this tune-up through a Groupon-type coupon. The guy came, nice guy, did the check-up (I guess), said everything looked fine for now, but cracks were releasing CO2 into our air and so we should replace the whole unit. Offered to send someone out to talk to us further about the problem. The second guy turned out to be a salesman, not a technician; he didn't even look at the furnace. Since we were looking at a $3,000 replacement, we had another HVAC repairman come out, who measured the CO2 coming out of the furnace. He said the cracks were somewhat normal at our furnace's age and weren't at all approaching a dangerous level. Maybe he's right, maybe the Standard guy was right - I don't know, but we're not poisoned yet, 18 months later. I gave the company a low overall rating because it was just so obvious that the Groupon thing was an excuse to sell us a new furnace, using a scare tactic to some extent, and it just left me feeling duped and disgusted with the company. Maybe they were sincere in their diagnosis - if so, I wasn't left with that impression.

They were fast and efficient. Completed the install in 30 minutes and the inspector said it looked great.

Initially contacting for an appoinment was what you might expect, typical window for service. The guy was an hour early, which would be great if I lived near work. I rushed home to meet him which was frustrating but early is better than late. The first guy arrived with a set resolution in his mind and wasn't listening to what was happening. Unfortunately the furnace was on "good behavior" at the moment, so it was hard for him to diagnose, but he had a set fix in his mind and even though logically it didn't make sense he kept at it. He scrapped off the flame sensor even though the furnace wasn't lighting. When he was done, he said "we'll see how it goes and we will come back out if it isn't fixed" as if taking a half day off work was something that I could do easily - I travel 5-6 days a week for work and need to be confident that my furnace will work while I'm away. I tried to remember, they are the experts. Unfotunately I came home to a house that as 55 degrees a week later and naturally was angry. The person who took the call was amazing - he let me vent and had someone out that day. They handled things for me and made sure that I was not only happy but not over charged for two services. The guy that came out was very professional and listened to what I said. Between the guy on the phone and the technician they really saved my experience from being a disaster and thanks to them I would definitely call back. It was clear not just by how they were personally that the company prides itself on making things right.

On time, efficient, polite. When I use their services, I am confident that I won't have an unexpected charges for unnecessary work.

They were great. I'd been thinking about getting my air conditioner serviced when the Angie's List Big Deal came along. When I reviewed the services included, it seemed really comprehensive and reasonablly priced. They scheduled me right away and the serviceman was on time, personable and thorough. I would definetly use them if I have problems in the future. I don't remember the exact price, but it was a very good value.

Went very well. I had used an Angie's List Deal and the technician had already accounted for it, so I didn't have to try and explain it. Were able to come same day. Would use again.

I have not yet moved into this house, so it was not urgent to get this fixed. They were able to get to part and schedule the work a few days after the initial visit, at a time that was convenient for me. The technician arrived in the scheduled window and installed the new part. I had other things to do so I told him to close up the house when he was done and give me a call. He did so about an hour and a half later, and described that he had found what caused the heating element to crack. A piece of sheet metal had fallen into the space by the filter and blocked it. He removed that, of course. The furnace is back to normal operation now. The furnace is about 11 years old, just outside of the 10 year parts warranty. There is a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger, however, and Standard handled the warranty claim for me. The technician told me it would have cost somewhere around $1800 without the warranty.

It was about 60 years old and decided it needed to be replaced. They were great and we definitely use them again.

They came out and were on time and did the work well. The price ended up being a little more expensive than I expected. The service turned out well overall.

From my first call to the completion of the job, it has gone well. I will be scheduling the repair of the cracked part soon since I received a call that it has arrived at their shop.

Overall went well. I've made three appointments with them and they have been prompt for all and run thorough diagnostics on both our heating and ac systems. They explained the basics of the systems and helped us understand the general maintenance.

Had to wait about 6 weeks for an appointment, but that's expected with the special offer plus the busy season. I was given a 4-hour window (8am to noon) and the tech called when he was 15 minutes away and showed up on time. I wish it was a smaller window, but I made it work. Appointment lasted a little over 30 minutes I believe. My furnace got a clean bill of health. Hopefully I'll be covered for another year. Professional service all around.

Mike McCombs was the sales rep and he is very easy to work with and very professional. Unfortunately I do not remember the guy who can to install the unit but he was friendly and went about his work and did a very nice job removing the old and installing the new.

Excellent service overall. Serviceman, salesman, and installation crew were all prompt, courteous, and explained all options fully. Installation was neat, clean, and professional. New system works beautifully.

Their service was good. I had purchased a Big Deal, but when they came out they couldn’t redeem the Big Deal.

The agent showed up on time, told us the problem was not severe, and he gave us a different filter.
