They were wonderful. They did however make us prove that we received lower quotes from other companies. They did honor a lower price and the work they did was excellent. They were very respectful also.

The home we are considering buying had a known issue with the air conditioner, but our home inspector found a possible problem with the furnace. We called Standard Heating to come out and provide their opinion on the condition of both. We only had a short window of time, so they were good enough to come out that same morning. The technician was professional, experienced, and very friendly. It was a great experience.

We were very happy with the salesperson that came to provide the estimate. He seemed knowledgeable, and he was very professional and friendly. We were never pressured to buy or to make a decision quickly. The only thing I didn't like was how long it took (nearly 2.5 hours). The pricing was very competitive, though we ended up deciding to go with a different, local business that we felt offered a couple extra small perks for the same price. We did also have some follow-up questions that we sent by email a couple days after the quotation was done, and we got a prompt response to those. I would definitely recommend getting a quote from Standard Heating if you are looking to replace your furnace or air conditioner.

I purchased the big deal of the day to perform a pre-season check of my air conditioning system. Scheduling was easy with quite a bit of flexibility. Service worker was prompt, efficient and professional and politely answered all my questions. I am very satisfied.This company also installed my furnace in 2010 and exhibited the same high degree of professionalism at a very competitive price.

They had their salesman come out and he walked us through the whole process. We were concerned with which brand of furnace we should use, and he was very knowledgeable. They came out and installed the new furnace and have come out since to inspect it and change the filters as needed.

Richard from Standard Heating and Air Conditioning was very prompt, courteous and answered all of my many questions. He took the time to hear what we wanted. He went over everything and then sat down at our table to figure out the numbers. While working out the numbers for our 80% furnace he explained that with the April incentives they had at the company and the rebates we would get from Xcel and Minnesota Energy, we could get a 97.7% efficient furnace for cheaper than the 80% furnace. He recommended getting the Bryant a/c unit and the 97.7% York furnace. After comparing all the other companies, we went with Standard Heating and Air Conditioning and got the 97.7% furnace. The total price was out of pocket before incentives and rebates from the utility companies. It was very easy to set up an install date. Carrie was very pleasant and easy to work with. My husband was home during the install and they were all polite, efficient and answered all our questions. They even cleaned up afterwards. While doing the job they noticed that we would still need a chimney liner and cap since our water heater still uses that. They are coming back and putting that in for no charge. Very nice. I have to apologize, but I don't remember the three gentlemen's names that were out working at our house. We can already tell the difference in the furnace unit. Instead of having the furnace kick in and then five minutes later it being cold in the house again and having to adjust the temperature, it is a nice constant temperature that slowly rises until the temp is reached. Our overall experience was great with them. There were no hitches. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had several companies give us quotes in early November 2012, but Standard was the most professional and informed company in the house when we discussed options. We asked for a quote and did not receive one for three weeks, when I emailed to remind them. This should have been a warning, but as stated, they were very good discussing options for radiators and approaches to changing the system. Their quote was competitive, so we decided to go with them. We were given a few options for radiators, and chose a nice compact version with an independent thermostat. We are happy they found it and offered it as an option as it fits well in the room. As we tried to schedule the work, it kept getting pushed later and later. Part of this was because we wanted to be sure the radiator and piping was not obtrusive in the room. They were very good at listening to our concerns and trying to find solutions. This process, though was always a bit of phone tag and email tag to try to be sure we were still on their radar. Because of this the project moved from December to January and eventually February. A date was scheduled, but then the equipment arrived at their shop without valves, so we pushed it back another week. The installers arrived and were very nice, clean, and professional in the sense of how they managed themselves. They did not, however, know how to install this particular radiator. The instructions that came with it were not clear and they could not get in touch with the person at the shop familiar with the radiator. I was able to find the product specifications from the radiator company website, so they could continue the work. The installers problem solved merging the old system with new and made sure to consult me on their plans before proceeding. When they finished, they cleaned up and re-pressurized our whole system, taking the time to check over the whole system in general. They also went through the system and made sure I knew how to operate it in the future. This part was above and beyond. Two days later our house was at 95 degrees and would not cool. We called the company and they sent someone out immediately. One valve had been closed and another opened, so the heat was constantly on. Once this was fixed, everything works great and the radiator looks spectacular in the room. All this said, the company was decent. In the house, the employees were nice and informative. The three month turn-around was too long in my book. We were lucky that the room that was cold was unoccupied at the time. Had it been a child's room in the middle of winter, this would have been unacceptable. I would likely use Standard for maintenance or emergencies, as they were fast to respond and very professional when they came to fix the 95 degree problem. If I was planning a remodel or other project that had a distinct timeline, I might have second thoughts.

It went very well. The 1st of the crew Mesha arrived around 8:15 AM and got right to work after protecting our floors. I found him to be extremely polite and respectful of our home. The other 3 crew members came and went throughout the day, and I felt that they were all very nice and informative when showing me how to work the new thermostat. Mesha was done and had everything cleaned up around 5:45. They left our home neat and tidy which I really appreciate.

The experience with Standard Heating & Air Conditioning Inc was great. They took care of some stuff for us and the service was awesome. They tuned up the furnace and did some cleaning to make sure it was ready for the winter. They were very professional and identified who they were. We haven't had any problems with the furnace since.

Although the man could not find an immediate problem he suggested I might need a new circuit breaker. I said I would think about it. He left and the furnace was working fine at the time but later on in the evening blew cold air. I later discovered that all I needed to do was use a different furnace filter.

Overall a positive experience, no recollection of any negative issues, it has been almost a year so I don't remember good things as easily as the bad ones!

We found a deal on Angie's list for $25 off a service call, which we used when our furnace started to sound "funny" to us last winter. Getting the appointment was easy, and they easily honored the Angie's list deal. The service tech was professional, friendly, and efficient. After a once over, he said the furnace was fine, just needed a regular servicing/cleaning. We appreciated the honesty, we were thinking the worst (the beginning of the end of our furnace). Happily, Angie's list also had a deal for an A/C or Furnace Performance Tune Up with Standard Heating and Air Conditioning. We purchased and used that deal as well. This time, I wasn't home, my husband was, but the report was the same. Friendly, efficient, and professional service. We were happy with the service we received, and when we have an issue in the future, we will call Standard Heating and Air Conditioning first.

I had Standard heating install a complete HVAC system complet with JenMar HRV unit over five years ago. At the Home and Patio Show I spoke with a person in the Standard booth and mentioned issues with the HRV. That person filled out a contact request to have someone contact me about the repair. Standard did follow up and make contact. I ended up speaking with Tim the manager and after explaining the issues I was having he scheduled a service tech to come out and he waived the $99 service fee. Mike the technition arrived as promised and on time and after inspecting the HRV unit discovered the motor was burned out. Bad news is, the warrenty is for (60) months, the unit is (67) months old and out of warrenty. Mike said he would see what he could do and left. Thirty minutes later Mike called and said Standard would cover the warrenty and the motor was already ordered. Three days later I received a call stating the motor was in and we made an appointment to perform the work. Mike reterned exactly on time, replaced the motoer, cleaned up and had me signed the work order. Thank you very much and done, no charge. I was happy with the Standard the first time and still happy.
