Our AC went out on Thursday June 30th, 22 before the long holiday weekend. I took the outdoor unit apart and realized the condenser fan had to be replaced. We called Standard and told them what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. We also told them the brand (Rheem) and the age (20+). They said, "Sure. We'll come out tomorrow". They did. Kudos for that. Guess what? They aren't Rheem dealers so they didn't have the parts and would have to be ordered after the weekend. But, they didn't tell us that. Had they, we could have called someone who'd fix it before the weekend (remember...85-90+ degrees). They still took our $99 and diagnosed, "Yup. The condenser fan need to be replaced. We can get you an estimate after the holiday." I went and saw the manager at the company and he said that they knew that I thought it should be fixed when they came out but said that most people are wrong in their diagnosis of the problem. I wasn't. What makes me angry is that my diagnosis was accurate, they didn't tell us on the phone that they wouldn't be able to fix it even if I was correct and they knew that at the time of the call (I think that's unethical) and they still wanted our money to come out and tell us that our assessment was accurate and that they couldn't fix it until the parts got ordered. Do you folks think that that's right and ethical? I'm all ears.

Inspection went a smoothly as possible. Technician identified potential issue and arranged for a follow up visit.

Standard heating has been a part of our homes heats and cooling for 20 years. They have always provided excellent customer service. Chee and Sam were here today. They did a very thorough job of looking over everything. Very pleasant and professional. Again I thank them as well as the company for excellent service.

Ryan, the most delightful service person imaginable, came to our house during the morning time window and spent the entire day making sure that our 1938 home was appropriately cleaned. He took some before- and after- photographs of the inside of the ducts, illustrating why such a cleaning was overdue and how thorough it was. We have long been customers of Standard Heating and Airconditioning, but never realized that they also had this capacity to clean air ducts. We recommend them wholeheartedly for this work and will certainly call them again when we need to repeat the cleaning.

Very well - techs Al and Connor arrived promptly within the scheduled window, wore face coverings and foot coverings in the house, checked out our home's geriatric furnace and air conditioner to ensure both were functioning safely, did some cleaning and minor maintenance, and offered advice on how to reduce our heating/cooling bills.

The tech arrived on time, was familiar with our system and then proceeded to inspect and adjust our system as needed. We have had Standard Heating as our serve provider for many years. And that has been entirely based on their high level of quality service and friendliness. They are tops in our book!

Great! I've been with Standard Heating for over 20 years. The city inspector that came after the installation said he thinks Standard Heating is the top heating and air conditioning company in the metro area. He was also familiar with the individual who did the installation and said she is a rock star. I wholeheartedly agree with this opinion.

Eric did a wonderful job. System is older so he did a thorough check and found everything operating normal with no concerns. He replaced the filter that I provided. I will hire them back again.

On January 3rd this year, 2022, Standard & Heating replaced my furnace and the humidifier. I was extremely pleased with the entire process and all the people throughout. They did a great job identifying the need for a furnace replacement, explaining the pros and cons of the alternatives. They identified various discounts or rebates available to me and made the process easy for me to select the right choice for me. The installation process went great. They arrived on time, kept me informed throughout, and answered all my questions throughout. I could not be more pleased, and recommend them highly.

Kevin and Chris were great in figuring out the problem. Which it turns out was the filter. It needed to be replaced and was causing the furnace to overheat, turning it off before it hit the designated temperature. They serviced the furnace and we signed up for their club maintenance package for regular updates spring for AC and fall for Heat. We've used these guys for 20 years and they are awesome! Can't recommend them highly enough

After our annual contract furnace maintenance, the technician asked when the last time we had the ducts cleaned. It had been a long while (and by a different company), so we signed up. Like all Standard HVAC technicians we've met, John was courteous, professional and thorough. He donned a mask before entering our home, put on booties, walked through the house and explained everything, then proceeded to clean every inch of the ducts. He even pointed out where a return-air duct may have existed in the past and been removed in a remodel. That area of duct work was missed by the previous company and was a mess. We are seriously considering adding a return in that location. We bought our furnace from Standard a few years ago after ours failed on a -20 degree night. Standard sent an emergency crew with space heaters and installed a new furnace asap. Everyone we have dealt with at the company is professional and the prices are fair - we highly recommend!
