I called for their help because our furnace would turn on, and the heating element would light up, but then the fire would blow out on its own and we would wake up in the morning very chilly. Of course, the day the tech guy was supposed to come the furnace was working just fine...don't you hate that! Anyway, first the tech was very respectful and kind. He called me to let me know that he was on his way and he was well within the time frame they provided to me (between 10a-1p). When he came in he put little booties on over his shoes so that he wouldn't muddy-up the floor. He looked at the furnace and was surprised it was even working at all, since it is apparently 27 years old. However, I decided it would be best to have him at least make sure the ancient piece of crap could still hold out for the rest of this year. He took it apart and did his thing (it took maybe 30 minutes). He showed me what he looked at and how everything was in working order. I don't know what he did to it, but ever since then the furnace has had no problem at all staying lit. In fact, I think he must have tighten some things up because not only does it seem to be working better, but it seems quieter as well. Although I technically didn't have a repair to do, I would recommend this company to anyone looking because we had a very nice experience. Thanks Standard!

We have been very happy with their service. They have rescheduled a couple of times due to emergency visits and that is understandable as we would expect the same if needed. The technician is Nathan and we request him every time. He is the main reason we use this company as he does such a great job.

Furnace Tune up. The technician was punctual and thorough. He also made sure to explain what had been done and to discuss his findings.

Everything went well when they came out.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased for $25 off. We had to buy a new vent motor. It was average because we had to buy a new part. I don't think they charged any more than anybody else but I don't know. We've had so many companies out and the furnace is still not working the way it should. If I had to call somebody back, I would call them because they were good.

Installed a new motor. It's went well. "Not was an emergency. no heat

We had a toilet that was plugged. I was not home when the guy arrived. He left scratches in the inside bottom of the porcelain stool. He did get it unplugged though .

They came RIGHT away, fixed the problem, cleaned up and left. As good as it gets. We will call them again whenever we need the types of service they provide.

This was my first time using their service and everything was fine. However, we had an issue with our furnace a few months later which was surprising since they had done the cleaning and tune up.

it went smoothly. the technician was quick, clear and also helped me review the items that i needed for quote with one of their estimators.

Both techs were very friendly and helpful. They were willing to answer any questions. The only unfortunate part was that I called earlier in December and they were busy until the beginning of January, which I understood. But the day before my appointment, they had to call and reschedule for a few weeks later because of sick techs and trying to keep up with no heat situations. Oh well.

Every time we deal with Standard Heating, we are extremely impressed with their professionalism. We have been extremely happy with their work and their service. We recommend them highly.

First off, Mike (salesmen) came out and showed us their line up and how they do business. We were impressed. He was not pushy, simply gave us our options, the products features, and what to consider with our home. He checked all our existing ductwork and instructed us on how to make our old tired furnace run better until or if we decided to install a new one. This was the 4th quote we had gotten for the work, and he was by FAR the best. We loved Mike. Great, knowledgable, and again, not pushy. The install guys came on time, Were pretty tide, and fit a nice install. They forgot to install the GFI switch and pump (required by code apparently, not sure why as it wasn't much of a walkway), and then called to schedule a time to come remedy. We love the new furnace. Winter in MN now so haven't run the AC yet. But looking forward to that as well. The new furnace is so quite I think something is wrong with all our other appliances as its the first time I have HEARD them. Our old furnace was so noisy. My only complaint was after we green lighted the project, it took a little over a week to call and be on the schedule. As this was a big purchase for us, I would have liked a call right after we purchased from the scheduling team saying they received everything they need, and are working on getting us on the schedule. Not a big deal, but just wanted to know we were all set and ready to go when the time came. Absolutely give these guys a call if you need furnace and AC work, or new. Two thumbs up!

Technician was very knowledgeable and professional. Work was performed in expeditious manner with cleanup upon completion.

The visit went well. The guy who did the service was very nice and courteous. I think it was just a coincidence but on the 24th of December my electric pump went out on my boiler because of a leak in the pipe. Standard Heating couldn't come and help fast enough that morning so we went with another company. The company who fixed the leak said it must have been leaking very slowly for about a year because there was corrosion on the pipe. I feel this was something Standard heating could have caught in the tune up only a few weeks before- but I am not certain on this.

They were fabulous. I would recommend them to anyone any time. They were all professional and courteous. It was very cold the day there were installing and they did not complain at all. I felt very comfortable with them in my home. Once the work was done,they called to make sure everything was working fine. They even took away the old unit. They really went above and beyond the work I was having done. They even fixed a part of my venting at no charge. They have great customer service and treat their customer's right.

The technician was able to come to our home the day I called, so that was reassuring. He answered all my questions & Standard Heating contacted me about getting an estimate for a new furnace. All went well.

Our a/c went out over Memorial Weekend, 2012. My husband and I were desperate to get a new one, and called a few places for quotes. Standard came on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm glad we called them! They had the best quote and could come in much sooner than the other two companies we contacted. They offered an employer discount, because my husband worked at Dunwoody College, which was on top of the May discount they had running. There was a small mixup regarding the appt time. They were supposed to come in the morning, but rescheduled day-of to come in the afternoon. Slightly annoying since I had stayed home from work, but they threw in a free furnace tune up for the inconvenience, which was unexpected and very helpful. The actual replacement was pretty standard. The HVAC guy came out, and redid a lot of the messy ductwork in the laundry room near the furnace/etc. He explained to my husband how it was all connected and where to look for issues. He was very friendly the whole time. Our a/c was working immediately, much to our relief. When they came back in the fall for the free furnace tune-up, it was also a great experience. The tech cleaned out our furnace humidifier too, and helped us find the right filters, showed us how that works, and was very friendly as well.

Our heat was out. Called Standard and had a very friendly rep on phone. Scheduled service for following afternoon. After I booked the service I purchased the big deal, but I called back and asked if they thought I needed to be worried about our pipes freezing before they could come out. While Standard couldn't send anyone out sooner they recommended I call Burnomatic, which I did. Burnomatic was able to squeeze me in sooner than Standard so we went its Burnomatic (and also had a great experience; a good referral from Standard).

The service was fine. I misunderstood the wording of the offer. So the pricing wasn't what I thought it would be. My fault, but maybe it could be worded differently. I purchased additional services for the future because it was a better value all in all.
