Scott showed up on time and was very professional. This visit was just for our inspection and tune up. We purchased our furnace and AC through Standard and they were very professional from start to finish with no pressure to buy. I recommend them to everyone that asks my opinion on a recommendation for a heating and AC dealer

The air conditioner in a unit at our duplex rental went out two days before the new tenant was supposed to move in. We called around and many providers were weeks out before they could get to us. Standard Heating was able to come in two days (the day that the new tenant moved in) and install the new air conditioner. At first the temperature in that unit was 85 degrees!! Within a few hours of getting the new air conditioner in it went down to a more manageable 76 degrees and was at a nice temperature when the tenant was settled in for the night. It wasn't the way that I wanted to start off a new tenant/landlord relationship (with a busted A/C unit), but at least with the new A/C unit it saved the move in for all of us. Standard did a great job and stayed out of the tenant's way so that she was comfortable moving in while they did their work. They were very professional

We've used Standard Heating/Cooling for past several years for their maintenance plan. Each visit confirms our original decision. Every tech assigned has been courteous, punctual, and willing to answer any questions we have. They perform their maintenance in good time and always ask if we have any concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to use them when it comes time to replace either furnace or A/C unit. They've earned our trust and respect.

It went fine. In my experience, Standard is always prompt and has very professional techs. Always wearing protective booties when they enter a house is also nice touch. I have used them for years.

I posted my needs for Air conditioner tune up, etc coupon listed on Angie's list. I received a message 2 hours later & w/in 2 hours they were @ my door. I appreciate STANDARD HEATING & AIR'S professionalism, calling when 15 minutes out, friendly service, conclusively shared the bad news of having to replace my 3 ton air conditioner but handling well making it easier to hear. Have had this contract with Standard since they installed my furnace and a/c system in Dec of 1997 and they've kept it in perfect condition ever since. They're very professional, courteous, efficient and timely with their check up reminders. I highly recommend Standard to anyone for any services they provide.

I have liked all the service people I have seen but as a rule the same service person comes every visit and you get to know them almost as a friend. Joe is my service tech and he is so nice and friendly and professional. I have been a customer for over 20 years and they have replaced equipment for me. All services have always been great and when I call in for any reason and Summer answers, I know I am going to be taken care of. Customer service is more important to me than any aspect of any job I have done. I am guaranteed if I have any problems, they will be taken care of.

Standard comes out on a regular prepaid schedule to make sure our furnace and central air are in good working order. Today, Scott came to check our furnace. It's 25 years old and has been a great workhorse for us, but we know it's nearing its end. Scott forewarned us that the carbon monoxide levels are too high but scheduled another technician to come out next week to do more testing before deciding what to do. It may be time to buy a new furnace and we will unquestionably use Standard for that.

They (Thomas and Chester) were responsive, professional, punctual, and cleaned up well after themselves. I really appreciated their eye for detail, how well they communicated before and after the job, and a few small things they did they didn't have to do. We've undergone a lengthy remodel & this was one of the final details. Thankful to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

We were so impressed with the work they did! All involved (4 in total) were very nice and answered all of our questions. When the inspector came the first thing he said was "Standard heating sure does nice work". It was clear that they were very professional!

When we had duct cleaning done, the cleaner let us know that the motor on our Venmar was frozen. We called Standard Heating to take a look and their technician David H confirmed that this was the issue. While he was at it, he also checked other parts of the Venmar system to ensure that this was the only problem. The technician's work was efficient and professional. He called prior to arriving to let us know that he was on his way. When he was done, he described the maintenance we should be doing to avoid having this happen again, and taught us the proper settings for winter and summer. I am very pleased with their service and will use this company again.

When I called, my old air conditioner wasn't working. They had a live person answer the phone after 6 and they came out the next day. They were very efficient. I found out after that they are a family owned business and have been in business for 75 years. They stand behind their work and have a great warranty.

I'm going to give credit were credit is due, but also can't give them a better rating than a D based on price. If you don't care about cost and are looking for a professional, well run operation with excellent service techs then go ahead and hire them. I've had them out to my home a couple of times and things went very smoothly. Both techs that I dealt with were very nice and knowledgeable. Now the bad. My most recent service involved a service call which ended in the replacement of a blower motor for my ac unit. I was charged $450 for the installation of the new motor (includes part, warranty, and labor). I did some research on the part and it retails for $95-125. With that said, even if they double the retail price (lets say $250) of the motor you're looking at $200 in labor for a job that I assure you took less than 1 hour. I called the company for a breakdown of costs and was told it's a flat rate. She could not give me a labor vs part breakdown. There was a bit more to this conversation but nothing that would justify a $200+/hr labor charge.

I called on Friday with a broken central air system and set an appointment for today. As promised, technician called to let me know he was on his way to my home. He could not have been more helpful and thorough when he arrived. He identified and fixed several issues working together to cause the breakdown of the outside unit and he cleaned and checked everything else out. He thoroughly explained what he fixed and what had happened. I was so happy with the outfit from original call on Friday to the work today that I went ahead and purchased a future maintenance service from them. That's a first for me. Until now I've had 100% resistance to preventative maintenance arrangements. Obviously, I'm very impressed with the service I received and definitely feel I can trust their work and professionalism.

Standard was very professional from the first guy to the last. Everything went pretty smooth. And because I had a dual system in place there was some "extra stuff" that had to be done for this job. The job was completed by a team that included installers and electricians. They even had a separate guy come to haul away the old furnaces and air conditioner. I would definitely recommend Standard Heating and Air conditioning to my family and friends. I knew this was a "big job" and I wanted it done right the first time. I had checked on Angie's list first and the track record for Standard is excellent. After the salesperson came out and measured to see how big of a unit I needed and gave me an estimate I was sold on hiring Standard for the job. I had gotten another estimate from another company who was not as professional as Standard was.

Efficient, timely and well-done.

We have used Standard for over 10 year and would not think of calling anyone else for service. Always on time, always friendly and professional employees, always excellent service. Will never need a call back. They do it right every time.

Came, diagnosed what the problem was failed part, diagnosed why the part failed, (undersized liquid line) and fixed that problem too. I am delighted with the results and how quickly they responded to my Monday morning call.

Scheduler was polite and courteous and scheduled repair for same day that I called which was nice because it was unfcomfortably warm that day. Technician called to confirm he would be out shortly and he showed up on time and made repair quickly.

He quickly diagnosed it was the capacitor and replaced it and had the A/C up and running within 15 minutes. Love it when the serviceman knows his stuff! The only bad spot was the price for this little piece ($168.00) - ouch! But we're "cool" again and that's what matters.

I was very pleased with the service technician. I was frustrated in trying to get an appt. time however that is why the responsiveness rating os low. I wasn't told about the Saturday appt. option and I called multiple times. It would be nice if you had a day or two of after hour times, 6 or 7 pm. Overall happy with the experience though. Happy about the 5 for $25 campaign for charity too.

The tech came in and recharged my air conditioning unit, and diagnosed that my furnace fan circuit board was faulty. I'll have "Standard" come back again next year and fix everything.

He calls about 30 minutes before he comes... I request that... and he uses the blue footies inside my home. he is pleasant and comfortable .. tells me what he did and how things are. I have used Standard heating for my original furnace and then when I had to add another furnace when the house was enlarged, I continued with their surface and they come twice a year to check everything.
