The service provider is in the St. Paul/ Minniapolis area - I live in So. Calif. - so I ordered this service in error as I was (needless to say) - out of their service area! Very nice people though over the phone.

All went well. Making an appointment by phone several weeks ago was easy. Service Person called before he came, early in the time frame window I have been given. Courteous, friendly. Asked me about a CO-2 alarm, which I did not have, so he sold me one. (Price might have been a little higher than hardware store, but one does pay for the convenience of not having to go to the store!) Coast of service is hard to tell, as I am on a "service plan" with the company. I have paid $21 per month for the last several years (the price never goes up!), which entitles me to two furnace checks and one AC check for the year. (My AC unit is on the second floor roof, which makes that service a bit more in their pricing equation.) I have been very pleased with Standard Heating since I purchased my furnace and AC from them about eight years ago.

Arrived punctually within the promised window. Professional, clean service. No surprises. I would hire them again.

Technician called to let me know he was 10 min away. Put on booties over his shoes. Very pleasant & courteous.

They were good overall, the only issue was the sales person couldn't find us a date where either my wife or I was home.

They seemed friendly, but could not perform the service when it was needed.

I have used Standard for years for heating and AC repair, routine maintenance and installation of systems. They are always on time, always professional to a fault and I have never, ever been disappointed with service or price. I would never use anyone else and I have in the past and seen first hand the difference.

They're always professional and helpful. Scheduling is fine and they will either call or send a reminder card about upcoming service.

Great. I have an incredibly old system, but they thought I could get away with using it this year and possibly next.

Joe was great and replaced the humidifier filter as well. We have been Standard Heating and Air customers for over 5 years and NEVER had any issues!

The technician was very professsional, friendly and thorough. Diagnosed the problem and promptly repaired our thermostat. I will definetly use Standard Heating again.

They found cracks in the heat exchanger but tested carbon monoxide levels which were OK. They recommended fixing or replacing old furnace. Gave me ballpark figures and immediately set me up with an appointment to go over options if want to repair or replace. Courteous, friendly, interactive, helpful.

Great. During the check Deacon and Dan noticed that i had a small gas leak on the fireplace regulator. They set up a appt to have it fixed for me before they left. They also checked things like age of carbon monoxide alarms etc. Extremely nice and helpful. Have used them for over 10 years, they installed my new furnace/air system last year.

They came and looked at the AC unit and were able to give me the estimate while they were still here. The pricing seemed very fair. They were great and showed up in the window they provided. Their costs are less expensive than a previous company I have used.

Seth was the service technician that I met at our property and performed the inspections. We passed on one (the house furnace) but failed on the wall mounted unit in the garage. I greatly appreciated that he talked through his findings with me and that I know that the garage wall heater must be removed and trashed.

Excellent....on time, friendly. The company sends a "reminder" post card out. The service person goes over, verbally and on paper what has been done.

They are unable to perform until October 31st at the earliest. I wanted this done before the onslaught of the heating season. Why are they offering a "special" if they are already this busy?

Fantastically. We got all questions we had answered, and love the comfort of not worrying about heating and AC because our systems are faithfully maintained.

I have worked with this company since I bought my hoouse nine years ago. They have installed a new furnace and a new air conditioner and done the regular maintenance since. They are very easy to work with and the work is done promptly and they gaurantee their work, which is done right in the first place.

They're very prompt and friendly and seem to do a good job. I've been using them for about 30 years. I have a maintenance agreement with them.

Standard Heating is one of the best companies that I’ve ever dealt with. They just have been an outstanding company to deal with. We wanted to change our furnace and so I called them. Their sales guy came out and he was excellent. The installation was done in an extremely good fashion and all the technicians were outstanding. They all were proud of the company they worked for and some supervisor came by, who had been with the company for 30 years. Everybody who works for the company are just stars.

For 20 years I have had a service contract with Standard that includes both a spring and fall checkup as well as quick response to heating or cooling problems. I am very satisfied. The equipment has been well maintained and I receive useful information about upkeep and potential issues. Scheduling service is quick and efficient, and I particularly appreciate the continuity in technician service. The service professional, Seth, knows my unit and utilizes past information to identify service needs. He is a knowledgeable professional and always leaves the work area in good condition. An unscheduled problem with the air conditioning earlier this summer was quickly fixed. While the price of a service contract has increased over the past 20 years, I have found it a good value. Equipment is well maintained and I don't worry about furnace failure during a cold Minnesota winter. Consumers are not unduly pressured to purchase more and more services.
