Salesman Rich came out and inspected our current situation and gave us several options from which to choose. Technician Luke assessed what would be needed for installation and gave his advice. We agreed on a plan. Installation was initially scheduled for a few weeks out because there was no emergency, but then the manufacturer shortened the time for its rebate (a significant amount) so Standard moved up the installation date to comply. Technicians Luke and Adam arrived promptly this morning and installed a new top-of-the-line York furnace. It required new venting because of the furnace type we chose and the construction of our home. Everything was completed and tested in under 6 hours, which was their estimated time frame. Electricians arrived immediately after to upgrade wiring and install a new thermostat. Everyone was friendly, clean and thoroughly explained everything. They brought their own drop cloths and runners to cover all traffic areas so there was absolutely no mess or even a trace that they'd been here.

I was frustrated because they seemed to charge extra for things that other companies have not charged for. One example was that they charged an extra $40 just because our air conditioner is in the attic. I also don't like it when companies try to promote their "service plans."

I purchased the Angie's list deal at the beginning of October and couldn't get an appointment until the 29th. I was really disappointed with the scheduling but understand that this is peak furnace tune-up time. Unrelated, my furnace needed a repair between the purchase and appointment, but I decided to keep the appointment anyway. The repair guy called with 15 minutes notice, put on shoe covers and went to work. He told me a little about my furnace and started to clean out filters and answered my questions thoroughly. We chatted about the condition of the unit, he gave me the name/number of another vendor regarding a boiler for in-floor heating, and the heating/cooling of the house. I have an air exchanger and he advised issues with them normally come around a clogged intake. He completed his work to my satisfaction and left. Moments later, he was back at my door and mentioned that he looked at my air exchanger's intake and it was mostly clogged from neighborhood cottonwoods. He helped me clean it, and then left. I was really impressed that he went above and beyond during the furnace tune-up.

What I appreciated most was the technician's honesty. He told me that it would be cheaper for me to purchase new filters from the Standard Heating & AC store directly versus purchasing them from him. Also, he educated me about a potential noise issue that the inducer motor could create, so now I know what to watch for, what it means, and that they will come out to change it if it doesn't resolve itself like it should. It's really great to have that peace of mind.

Arrived on time. Called while on enroute, as planned. Very professional, efficient, respectful and friendly.

My house had always been dry in the winter. Standard recommended a humidifier and quoted me a price. They arrived on time and completed the job in a couple of hours, less than the estimated time. I've used Standard for a number of years, and they have always done great work.

I called Standard Heating to schedule a furnace tune-up and they were able to get a tech out to my house the very next day. I was scheduled for a 10 am - 1 pm service window and I requested a call when the tech was on his way since I work nearby and didn't want to miss more work than necessary. Paul called on his way and I was able to arrive home a couple of minutes before he arrived. He was very friendly and professional and even wore boot covers inside my house, which was appreciated. This was the first service I'd had done on the furnace since purchasing the house a year ago. I had been noticing a noise when my furnace turned on and mentioned it to Paul. While he was cleaning and checking the furnace, he diagnosed the issue and informed me about what was causing the noise and spent extra time cleaning that specific part. He also informed me that a few of the parts that typically go out on a furnace of that age had been recently replaced, which was nice to know. The furnace is running great and virtually silent again. I'll definitely call Standard Heating and AC for any future service!

Standard Heating provided great service. The tech was on time, friendly, and completed the service in a timely manner. He answered our questions and didn't try to sell us a bunch of stuff. We will use them again. Our tech was Joe and we would request him again.

Seth was very professional and thorough. I purchased my home in July 2014 but did not move in until the end of November 2014. I knew nothing about my furnace, other than the previous owner purchased a top notch furnace. Seth basically gave me a tutorial of my furnace. He told me how top notch the furnace is. He informed me that I still have a five year warranty on it and that if/when repairs are needed, that they will not be cheap. Seth educated me on the heat pump, which is also the a/c in the summer time. Last winter, I saw that the fan on the a/c was running and I did not know why. Well, it turns out that it is part of the heat pump and the efficiency of the furnace. Seth also noticed that my water heater should be replaced, not because it is bad itself, but that there is more than likely carbon monoxide leaking out of the top due to a blockage in my chimney. Probably not enough to do harm, yet, but that I should consider replacing within the next year with a direct vent model. He also mentioned that it will not be cheap to replace, but also that it won't be cheap to clean up the blockage or damage that will or can be done if I don't take care of this. While much of this was bad news, at least I know what I am in for and can prepare for it. He was not trying to sell me anything, just educate me. Thank you Seth!! You will be back!!

They do a great job. They are a little pricey, but they explain why. They're worth it.

It did not need repair and they simply offered me reccomendations.

Everything was great. Service man was prompt and efficient.

Called for someone to look at my furnace prior to the heating season. He cleaned and tested all of the heating elements. Checked the venting including a CO test. Checked the blower motor and the filter. Cleaned and tested the humidifier and changed the pad. Cleaned the trap which looked like it never had been cleaned. he was friendly, thorough, and efficient. I was very happy.

We purchased a new furnace from them in 2010. Since then we've called them every fall for a tune-up, and a couple of minor issues we've had (one being caused by an aging zone system). Always on-time, very friendly and thorough, and I feel their prices are reasonable.

This service was for a rental property. The service tech called me 30 min prior to the apt so I could meet him there. He was on time and courteous. He wore the booties to keep the carpet clean. He did a complete inspection. I signed up for the year round maintenance plan.

I always ask for Deacon - have used them for years and have never been disappointed.

GREAT experience!!! The service tech was Deacon and hats off to him a real nice and polite guy. He thoroughly inspected the furnace and I've had some companies come in and they were gone in fifteen minutes not this one, he took his time and explained everything and offered suggestions to my concerns and wore shoe coverings on top of it. Another GREAT Angie's list experience!!!

Mike was on time, courteous and very professional. Explained what he was doing and had a great attitude.

Person called 30 min before arriving to let me know he was on his way. He did a full inspection of furnace & found it working well.

The technician who came was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He told me that it's time to replace the furnace, and explained and showed me why it needs to be replaced. He was very apologetic about having to tell me that.he also explained the options going forward, and offered to set up an appointment for me.

I have ongoing prepaid maintenance set up with Standard Heating. They provide reminder cards for setting up service, which is helpful. Their technicians are always prompt, professional, and friendly. Customer service people on the telephone are also extremely helpful and nice. A great service experience.

Joe was terrific. He called to alert me of his arrival. He was thorough, conscientious, considerate, and tidy.

I'm always happy with Standard Heating as they are always prompt and do a great, efficient job.
