Absolutely excellent. Punctual. Polite. Knowledgeable. Gave me the options and the range of prices (there were some internal parts of the furnace that optionally could have been replaced (or not). Gave me the pros and cons and let me decide. I have used Standard Heating for years, purchase AC and furnace from them. They are straight shooters. Highly recommended.

197Wow... to say that I was impressed with Seth from Standard Heating & Air would be an understatement. When I originally made the appointment for a service call, I was told that a tech would be arriving between 9:00 AM and Noon. Even though Seth did arrive within that window (about 11:40 AM) the dispatcher gave me a courtesy call a couple hours earlier to let me know that it was going to be closer to Noon because he was spending a longer time at the previous appointment due to a larger-than-expected repair that needed to be done. Nice touch! When Seth did arrive, he was extremely polite from the time that he came in the front door. As he began to pinpoint the problem that kept the furnace from working, I could tell that he knew what he was doing. He very methodically eliminated all the possible problems until he decided that the transformer was the culprit. He worked quickly to replace the faulty transformer and, before leaving, he looked around the basement (it's an OLD house!) and pointed out several items that would need to be fixed/replaced to bring the house up to code before selling it. That was really appreciated. On his way out, he asked if it was OK if he spent a few minutes in his truck, still parked in the driveway, before heading to his next appointment. Again, nice touch! Overall, I was very impressed with both Seth and everyone else I interacted with at Standard Heating. I would give them my highest recommendation.

I thought the guy was really thorough. When the inspector came, he said that they just do fabulous work. They did a fabulous job. They were professional, timely and we thought they did great. They were a little more expensive.

It went GREAT. We had another company out the week before, and they told us we would need to replace the entire system for $10,500+. We brought Standard Heading & Air out for a second opinion, and working with them was FANTASTIC. They called 30 minutes before they were going to arrive, so we could leave from work and meet them at home. Then the completed an assessment of what was going on with the system. The first trip out, they only had one control to replace the system, so they replaced one control and the pipe that was making the loud noise (total time was 2- 3 hours to complete this work). They said they would call when they had the other control in to complete the work. Over the weekend, the heat stopped working completely. We called the next week and they came out to look at what was going on. At this time, they also had the final control that needed to be replaced. They replaced the control, flushed the system again, and the heat has been working great. They said that if we ran into any problems after this fix, to give them a call and they would be out to see what was going on!

Professional. We were told all was working well.

The Standard Heating service technician arrived within the pre-established time frame. He placed booties over his shoes before walking through the house (much appreciated). After increasing the temp. on the thermostat, he proceeded to conduct the furnace inspection/tune-up. After completing the inspection/tune-up, the technician (Joe) informed me the ignitor/glow plug was turning white (an indication it is beginning to wear out and if it wears out, the furnace will not function properly). I was told I could wait or have it replaced. I chose to have it replaced.

Honestly, I cannot imagine a more professional, courteous, and thorough service provider experience. Our 15-year-old furnace died just as late fall temps plunged. We initially asked our current HVAC service company to give us an estimate. After a 10-minute look at our furnace, we received a bid virtually free of any detail. That is when I called Standard Heating and A/C. Their representative spent more than 90 minutes with me, reviewing our current duct system and heating needs. He provided me with a detailed, highly informative proposal for a new furnace, with a clear explanation as to why that particular furnace addressed our needs. He also told me that, regardless of what the installation team encountered, the company would stand by its initial bid, even if it meant eating any additional costs associated with the installation. At the time, we had no heat on one level of our house. The representative delivered three terrific space heaters to tide us over until the installation date a week out. Had we not had those space heaters, we would have been in a bad way, with daytime temps in the low 30s. The installers took every precaution to minimize any inconvenience to us. They were professional, courteous, and friendly throughout the entire process. They finished ahead of schedule, and the installer took extra time to instruct me on the basics of the furnace operation. He also, on his own, replaced a section of our exhaust system which he thought could be enhanced! On the basis of that outstanding experience, we have contracted with Standard Heating and A/C for all ongoing, routine maintenance needs for our entire hvac system. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They deliver absolutely everything they promise, and more. They do all of this with extremely competitive pricing.

Called ahead of arrival. Arrived right on time. Answered all of my questions and some I didn't even know I needed. Told me about current specials but not a hard sell at all. Would welcome them back anytime

Everything went very well. The serviceman was punctual, polite, and professional. The check-up took about twenty minutes and came up with an "all clear" as far as needed service was concerned.

Went very well. Service technician did the tuneup and explained everything as usual.

The service rep was very helpful, he even provided some initial instructions on items for me to review/troubleshoot prior to his arrival just in case I could fix it and save the service call money. In the end, he arrived and had it fixed in an hour.

This is too far in the future. I just think they don't have the capacity to reasonably serve the purchased coupon service in a timely manner.

Arrived on time. Explained what he was doing. Showed me some things I did not know about how to use my thermostat. Checked over everything and let me know all is was functioning. Nice, personable young man.

It went very well. Our experience with Standard Heating has always been positive. They gave us a couple hour window of when a worker would arrive. He arrived within that window, covered his shoes, pet our little jack russell puppy, and down to work on the furnace he went. He was helpful in telling me the humidifier screen was messy and how much it would be for a new one ($27) and said he highly recommended replacing it. The tune up service in the past is usually around $130 but we are on a subscription plan where the cost of a air conditioning check in the spring, and the furnace check are split between the twelve months and $17 comes out of our account every month. They also do an extra furnace safety check later in winter and give a discount on work done if we need any services since we signed up for this plan. The work seemed to only take a half hour or so. Itwas done effectively and in a reasonable amount of time. We recommend this company for their work and professionalism.

Joe the technician called to let us know he would be arriving in 15 minutes and was at our house in that time . He did a thorough check-up of our furnace including inspection and cleaning of the flame sensor, inspection of heat exchanger, ignition device, humidifier, air filter, thermostat, and electrical connections. He also inspected and oiled the blower motor and tested the carbon monoxide in the flue pipe. He put on plastic booties before he proceeded to the furnace area. He was courteous and answered all my questions

Everyone is always professional and personable without being too chatty. Have used Standard Heating for 25+ years and would highly recommend them.

The service guy did the tune up really quickly. I was impressed by the way he took time to explain what he was doing and show me how to do some regular maintenance myself--like change the mysterious filters.

They showed up on time near the beginning of the service window. And provided good information about other services they could perform related to my a/c in the spring.

I called several weeks before and got a service date schedules for Friday October 31. A couple of days before Standard called me to remind me of the appointment. Twenty minutes before the technician's arrival he called to let me know he was on his way. he came as expected within the 3 hour morning window. The technician looked at my furnace and then had some questions for me. As I answered them I realized that I hadn't understood how my humidifier works. The technician patiently explained and took the time to make sure it was working. The professionalism of Standard Heating technicians is always top notch. This visit continued that trend.

Quickly checked furnace and discussed problem we had been having with pump and drain. Nate gave two options and costs, pros and cons of each. We chose one and he fixed it right away.

Came on time. Checked everything and made a few adjustments to the system. Answered all our questions. We had the same technician once before and he did a great job both times. Very friendly and professional.

Paul was very professional and courteous. Didn't mind various questions and explaining components of the unit etc. Would highly recommend.

Very well. The person from standard heating called about 5 min before arrival. He came and put on shoe covers and expected the furnace and thermostat.

Joe called 15 minutes out and arrived right on time. He covered his boots with shoe covers when he entered the house, and very efficiently inspected the furnace and made any adjustments needed. Total visit about 20 minutes. Joe was professional, courteous. Scheduling the appointment was smooth. All reasons I have used Standard for almost 20 years.
