Everything went perfectly! It started with the Sales Rep being very honest and he explained how they measure the house to determine the correct size furnace and air conditioner needed so they run efficiently together. They didn't just want to sell me what I currently had. A few days after he left the bid, the Sales rep called me to see if I had any questions for him. He was not pushy at all. The other company who gave me a bid never called me at all! The day of the installation, the sheetmetal installer arrived on time and explained everything that was going to be done. He covered the carpeting down the steps and in the family room with a huge tarp. The old equipment was removed and hauled away. Everything was brought up to code and they asked me what I wanted to do if there were different ways of installing something, such as the fresh air intake flexible pipe had to be removed from the air ducts. They showed me where they had to cap off the old exhaust pipe and move the new pipe to bring it up to code too. The air conditioner didn't fit through the garage service door, so it had to be brought through the fence to the back yard. The installer made sure that the gate was closed so my dogs didn't get out! Very thoughtful!! They showed me how to program the new thermostat. When they were all done, each installer showed me what they had done to see if I had any questions. The team was very impressive!

I don't think we have used anybody for heating and AC since we had our first appliance a while back. It has been long since that was done and that was Standard Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. It was fast and efficient and all that stuff. Nothing really stood out but it was all competitively done and everything worked. My interaction with them was just fine. Those people were friendly, not pushy and all that kind of stuff. The work that they did turned out good. I haven't had any problems with it.

It went fine. The guy that came to check the furnace was Deacon. He was courteous and answered our questions. If I wanted to continue to have Standard Heating continue to check and service my furnace and central air unit I could pay for it monthly as that way I would always be on a customer and if I needed any repairs I would receive a discount. They are the ones that installed my furnace and central air in 2002 and have had the Company continue to service them.

It went fine. He showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. The repair went quickly as well, and is apparently warranted for 1 year. The whole repair took about 30 minutes. I was disappointed that it was so expensive and that the warranty didn't last longer.

We've used Standard Heating before, and this visit was a good reminder of why we continue to use them at our new home. They were ON TIME! Deacon was very kind, and explained what he found, etc. I'm not a furnace expert, but he seemed to do the job well, and I feel confident that our furnace is in good working order.

Nathan came to my home during the scheduled allotted time and was extremely friendly. He checked out the system and reported that all was in good working order. He also looked at the CenterPoint recommendations and plugged some holes that were in the return air duct as recommended by our CenterPoint Energy Audit. I signed up for their "Smart Plan" where the company returns twice a year to check heating and air conditioning.

The technician was very efficient and professional. He noted the humidifier replacement, and advised on when to replace the filters and where we can get them for the best value. He also noted where we are at in the warranty for our 2-year old system, and recommended an inspection of our a/c in the spring, so we don't miss an opportunity to fix anything that's needed while under warranty. I really appreciated his advice and candor. We had Standard install the unit, and liked them so much we asked them to come back for maintenance, and we will again in the future.

Seth, the Standard Heating Technicianc was extraordinary! In addition to doing an excellent job, Seth showed us how to change our complex air filter and educated us on several things to watch for as the furnace ages.

It went very well. They cleaned everything and I was very happy. Scheduling was easy, but we had to reschedule due to bad weather. However, they were open to come at any time. The A/C worked great and seemed not to be working as hard.

Technician, Nathan was right on time. Very nice, professional, and efficient. Put on shoe covers to protect the floor. Able to replace the part right on the spot and I saved a lot of money using this company over another who wanted to charge twice as much for the same issue. Very pleased with Standard Heating's service and would definitely use again and recommend!

Everything well for the most part. That is to say that the crew was on time, acted professionally, and did a good job without leaving a mess. However, the sales woman that dealt with me was most unprofessional. She was very pushy and confrontational during our meeting, and I almost threw her out of the house.

Very well; called before coming, came on time, very knowledgeable, professional and efficient.

This 1/2 hour project turned into much more because of issues with the light we installed Steve was patient and solved all the issues and did an awesome job. He was on time, professional and cleaned up. Thanks for great service!!

Deacon came out and tuned up my furnace. He checked the water heater to make sure it was functioning correctly and then he washed and checked the burners on the furnace. He checked and started the humidifier. He then told me about what I could change as far as filters for the furnace and humidifier. It was an awesome experience and I would recommend them again.

The service was good. They were complete.

The two fellas arrived on time, smiling, and gave me a 10 min. heads-up before arriving. They were pleasant, quiet, friendly, enjoyed my dogs, and completed their checklist in 15 min. I got a copy of the checklist and will receive a call from the company to schedule the purchase of a new humidifier. I would recommend this company to anyone with no reservations. I have worked with them for years, am on their maintenance program, and have never been disappointed. They are pleasant to have in my home.

Two workers called us when they were within 10 min. of our home. They arrived, greeted my dogs, put on their booties to keep from tracking into the house, and proceeded downstairs to do their checkup. Within 15 min. returned with the old filter, walked me through what they had done and verbalized the status of the furnace. They connected with their office to let the office know we wanted a new humidifier so that is in the works as well. All the while, they were cheerful, responsive, and enjoyable to have in my home. If asks me for a recommendation for furnace of A/C work, I always recommend this company. They won't be sorry.

I called them at about two on a Thursday, they were out here at four that very same day which was good because it was about 95 degrees here in the city. The first time they came out it was a hundred because I got a coupon for 25 off I think from Angie's List and then the second time they came out, they didn't bill me. So it was very good. They were very reasonable. They are actually coming out on Friday to go ahead and do a heating tune up for me.

First off our install was not an emergency so we had time to research, compare prices and options. Experience with the salesman was excellent, he offered multiple options without any pressure to pick a specific one. Did a good job of explaining the differences. No sales pressure during the time we were deciding and provided various bids as needed. Did a full house check and calculated a smaller size furnace and A/C then we currently had. Since we had an 17 year old Carrier furnace that had some manufacturer discounts due to secondary heat exchanger issues, we decided to go with a Bryant instead of another brand. The cost of service listed above is after all rebates and discounts. We also could have waited on replacing the A/C but decided to do it 2 years earlier than planned because of the rebates and reduction in labor costs. Pricing was reasonable and the salesman worked hard to get us the best price. My compares with other companies confirmed that. Flexible install schedule but they were not into the winter rush yet, they worked to fit it around our schedule and offered multiple days. Installers arrived on time and the install was probably the best I have ever had. Various installers arrived as needed and they were done 3 hours ahead of schedule. Everyone was polite and answered all my questions. Love the new system and thermostat. Of course no chance to enjoy the A/C. The crew cleaned everything up after the job and left the area around the furnace just as it was before they arrived. Some things to remember when you are doing a full replacement of furnace and A/C - Make sure you aware of the operation of the thermostat before the team leaves. In some cases it might be quite different than what you were using before. In our case we needed more instruction on the humidity settings since our old humidistat was installed on the side of the furnace and the new one is part of the thermostat. Both my salesman and support made sure we got our questions answered and sent a tech out again to make sure I understood everything. If you are changing to a totally different style of furnace ask about various options that the new furnace has for heating your home. Our install lead, took extra time to ensure that I got those questions answered. Note that some rebates may not be able to be submitted until warmer weather so plan your expenses accordingly. You always pay the full price after discounts and then get the rebates from utilities and manufacturer many weeks later. Overall I highly recommend Standard Heating and Cooling for replacing your old system.

Furnace stopped working at 10 p.m. Called about 10 places before Standard. They had an answering service, which was great. Paul called me back soon after and came out within the hour. He had the problem diagnosed and fixed within 15 minutes. He is on and running fine.

Joe called ahead of time to let me know exactly when he would be arriving. He was prompt and polite. Thoroughly completed the work and answered all of my questions. Excellent service and I was also given information on a rebate from my gas company for the furnace tune up. A great job done.
