Thor did a fantastic job. He took the time to answer all my questions and help advise me on the best course of action. While completing the work, he took the time to explain everything and also covered numerous minor details, including completely sealing the line and parts of the furnace that he noticed. I likely will call Standard Heating for any additional ductwork needs I may have, assuming of course Thor is available.

I continue to use them because of their consistency of service. They don't try to up-sell me. They have identified a couple of minor issues that needed to be addressed. I wasn't like oh, you need a new furnace motor, or something more expensive.

Thorough inspection and maintenance items addressed. Also gave additional helpful feedback in terms of age of furnace and also noticed that prior technician (not this company) hooked up humidifier hose incorrectly and that we were missing the water distribution tray from the humidifier, so noted the part for me to order. Would definitely use them again. They also did our preventative maintenance a year or two ago and were also professional and responsive at that time as well.

Standard is always reliable, prompt and courteous. Regardless of which technician arrives at my door, the service is all of those things. The work is done with respect for the room, and they leave no trace (except the old filter in the new box ready for disposal). When we remodeled, they were not the contractor our builder used, but still - standard was happy to come out and give us a second opinion on suggestions being made and add their ideas. Very few providers have performed as high quality and consistently as Standard has.

We had a new furnace installed last fall and today a Standard Heating technician came out to assure that everything is working fine. He was scheduled in an 11am-2pm window but called shortly after 10am to ask if he could come early. He did and thoroughly examined all the new venting and the furnace operation. We have used Standard for all our HVAC needs for more than 30 years...very happily.

It was okay. They did their job. They found a crack in our furnace so we ended up having to buy a new one. He was pretty thorough and helped us figure out what our next steps would be.

Very satisfactory! We had an acute problem and they came in, went through and managed to fix it for us. We did soend some time trying to fix it for ourselves and finally we realized we ran over our heads and was able to locate them and was happy with the service. We did have to do a little pinkering after they left but they pretty much fixed most of it.

The service went well. One technician worked on the AC and completed the tune up in about an hour. They were prompt, polite and gave great feedback. They let us know the status of the system and I really appreciated that they did not push other services on us. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

The service for the big deal from Standard Heating & Air Conditioning was fine. They were able to come earlier than they were actually scheduled. The price was whatever they said it to be. They were on time for the appointment. They were professional and courteous when they came out. They discovered that they had an earlier opening or something like that they could get me in earlier and so they got me in earlier. I got a different earlier date which was great.

They did an absolutely fabulous job. My furnace went out this morning. I called Standard after seeing the Angie's List recommendation. They came out this morning, found the problem quickly, fixed the problem quickly and were out of here quickly. The technician -- whose name I cannot recall because I'm terrible with names -- was highly professional and very pleasant. He told me what was wrong. He told me what needed to be fixed, and what shouldn't. And he didn't try to sell me anything. I will only use Standard for my heating and air conditioning repairs in the future, which is good for them because my HVAC system is old.

Standard heating representative arrived on time, was polite and polite. He performed his work and explained what he did and what I should know about my furnace.

I first had a problem with my furnace (would not turn on) in last November a week after a tune up with Standard Heating. Because the problem was right after a tune up, so they promptly sent someone to check it out without charging a service call. Elliott who performed the tune up also showed up to fix this problem. It was nice to see the same person this time since he did the tune up and said everything in the furnace was fine. He diagnosed the problem within 5 min. Since he didn't have the part with him, he'll have to come back to fix it another day. In the meantime, he showed me how to tap on the relay to get the furnace going again. So we were able to have heat while waiting for the part to come. A couple of days later, it was fixed. Fast forward to January, the furnace quit again. Paul came this time and said the new relay switch went bad again. Since it was still under warranty, he fixed it for free!! Both Elliott and Paul were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.

All of the guys from Standard Heating are friendly and knowledgable. They go above and beyond, and are super honest. I will always go to them for my heating and AC needs in the future!

Dan and Deacon were on time and were very good at explaining what they were doing and why. They took the time to answer all our questions and were very professional.

They did everything on time and their estimate was good.

Great. They came when they said they would, performed the work and advised that our furnace was in good working order. The technician recommended using a different filter for better performance. The only negative was that I asked that they provide the CenterPoint energy rebate form when they came. I forgot to ask about it at the time and the technician evidently didn't have the note on the order. I called and they provided the form by email about one week later.

Joe showed up on time and explained the whole HVAC system in my house including the air exchanger, air cleaner and humidifier.

Joe the technician called ahead to tell me he would be arriving in 15-20 minutes which he did. The time slot fell between the alotted time. I knew Joe from the summer A/C cleaning visit. Joe is very friendly and a joy to have do work on our furnace/ A/C
