Nathan showed up to my house and was very professional. The work performed was quality work and would definitely recommend standard heating and air conditioning to anyone looking for heating or cooling needs!

We use them a lot. They are honest, they come on a regular schedule when I call, and in my opinion, they do very good work. They are responsive and responsible.

That was great. He came on time. Part of the problem was that I was trying to diagnose a weird smell and that smell still continues. I appreciated their honesty and they also taught me something new about my furnace that kind of helped the efficiency of the furnace that I didn't know before. I would go with them again. I thought the price was average.

Replaced a furnace filter, reported on condition of the equipment, gave me a sense of how long it might last, recommended schedule for filter cleaning, answered my questions. Deacon was very prompt, congenial and helpful and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

It went great. The guy who gave the estimate spent a lot of time looking over the house, the air ducts, asking questions about tree shade, insulation, etc. They pointed out that a different company's planned location for the AC would never have passed inspection. So I was very pleased with this company that they knew the codes. There was some trickiness in getting the AC to the house, since it had to go through the end of the garage. (The patio was the only place it could be installed.) They did it seemingly without any trouble. They left no mess whatsoever. I will definitely use them again.

I used Standard Heating & Air many years ago as my "second opinion" in a repair that my home warranty company refused to pay for. They stated the repair was unnecessary. I called Standard Heating & Air to see if their technician could be contacted, so he could explain to the home warranty technician while he was there in my home looking at the furnace. The Standard Heating & Air technician actually left the office and came to my home at no charge to show the other repair person what they could not see. Ever since then, I have used Standard Heating & Air exclusively. They hire technicians who have the expertise I value highly, and they are really good when it comes to customer service. When I bought a new home, I called Standard to inspect the HVAC system, which was pretty old. I was expecting bad news but my technician told me that both units were in good shape, despite their age. I was expecting that I might be subject to a sales pitch about upgrading my system - that was never mentioned. I was very impressed!

You cannot find a more professional company. The tech came out for a pre-paid tune up and then found a problem with our compressor. He fixed it on the spot quickly and cost effectively. Thank you!

Standard is always very reliable, trustworthy, and their technicians are prompt, very friendly, knowledgeable, neat, and they communicate very well. We've had Nathan in the past who was great, and this time we were service by Joe S, and he was also great. Standard does a wonderful job hiring excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable technicians. We have never been disappointed. We have been Standard customers for about 20 years, and will continue to be their customers. Their customer service is outstanding.

Seth was fantastic. While he had to deliver us some pretty bad news about the poor work done by our previous contractor, he was kind and sympathetic that we'd be having to pay thousands of dollars. He never sugar coated the situation, but worked extremely diligently to find us savings when possible and explained what precisely was wrong and why it needed to be repaired. (I'd get too angry going into the details of what the other contractor did wrong, but items were numerous.) For the big repair day, Seth and a team of two other technicians (I'm sorry that I forget their names, but they were both extremely kind and friendly as well) spent nearly 8 hours getting everything in working order. All the while, if there was a possibility for any sort of warranty or rebate or discount, the team did what they could to help us out. Between the 2 service repair calls we had, we probably spent around $3,000. But it could have been much more. On top of that, we had a group that really cared about the quality of their work and had tremendous customer service. I can't express enough how happy my wife and I were with Standard Heating. Compared to the other companies I've either spoken with or had inspect something, Standard is hands-down my favorite to deal with ? partially because of their demeanor and partially because of their skill set (a to-remain-nameless other company, for example, sent 2 people that looked and acted like freshly-graduated from high school kids and didn't inspire confidence). So yeah, we'll be using Standard Heating again. I just wish I had put this review together sooner. Oh, also, our dog LOVED Seth. I think she could tell he's a dog person.

I asked if anything could be done to make it easier for me to change the air filters--I have an old electronic filter system. I've basically had to jam filters into the box, which has sometimes meant destroying the filter in the process. The technician made adjustments to the box that houses the air filter and secured hoses that were interfering with access to the filter. He then watched me change the filter to make sure I could insert and remove it easily. Upon discussion of the great amount of dust in my home and need to frequently change filters I decided to upgrade my filter system (hence the $500 cost). The technician couldn't have been more polite or helpful. I've used Standard Heating for probably 20 years and am continually very satisfied with the service I receive.

Very professional...they also checked our water heater and suggested we purchase a new unit. Since we had two different men check the furnace and air, we were very pleased with their detailed check of both pieces of equipment. Joe Slater was very friendly as well...made homeowner very comfortable.

First, $324 seems like a lot of money for a recharge, but it was for about 3 pounds of coolant and the service call fee. I believe that to be a fair price in this market. Jason arrived in the middle of the 3-hr appointment window, was very courteous, professional and just plain nice. He recharged the A/C unit, which he did 3 years ago. We have a very slow leak I guess, and I hope it stays that way! He was very fast, asked if I had any questions (I didn't), and sprayed the outside condenser unit to clean it off. I will be calling Standard Heating again next time I need repairs. Everybody I've talked to at Standard Heating is a pleasure to work with; from making the appointment, to the technician, to the customer service rep whom I called to give Jason a glowing review. I'm a very satisfied customer.

I had a new AC unit installed by Standard Heating 3 years ago. I was really happy with them throughout that process. The AC unit stopped working in 90+ degree heat, though, so I called them up to have it serviced. They had a tech out the very next day, and he quickly replaced the part that had malfunctioned. Best of all, it was free because of the 5 year warranty on parts and labor! I'm very pleased, and relaxing in the AC.

From the first meeting with the sales associate to the install, I was very impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the entire staff. Joe came out initially and checked out my home and provided feedback on the system my home needed. There was no pressure to buy or upgrade. Made me feel like my families comfort was the number 1 goal. I met with three other companies and decided to go with Standard. They were not the cheapest company, but they were certainly not the most expensive either. The reason I chose them over others was because they offered me and my family piece of mind and they stand behind their service, product and install 100%. Installers were efficient and cleaned up after themselves and left my home looking the way it did before they came in. Thanks Standard!!

The technician, Joe, could not have been more friendly and informative. He explained the steps he was taking to make certain that our units were functioning properly, with no sign of any leakage or malfunction that might prove problematic. He also gave us some very useful suggestions for the proper way of humidifying our home during the dry winter months. Joe worked quickly and thoroughly. We could not have asked for a better service experience.

The technician arrived within the window and was very professional. He looked at the A/C unit which was not cooling at the time and gave me two options: a simple recharge or the recharge plus a sealant mixed in. I did inform him that the A/C was recharged last year by a different company and he then recommended the sealant. The sealant is not warrantied, but we decided to go with the sealant as it was obvious there was a leak in the system somewhere. The A/C has been working well since then and I am hoping this has fixed our issue. I was very happy with my experience with Standard Heating and Air Conditioning.

We called Standard Heating and Air after we'd had another company give us an estimate of $1300 - $10000 to fix our air conditioner. Glad we called for a second opinion! The technician for Standard Heating and Air took our air conditioner apart, and diagnosed the problem in about two minutes. He didn't try to up sell us, he just fixed what needed to be fixed - the service call, plus parts was only about $300. He even spent some time going over maintenance with us. We'd call these guys in a minute. It really felt like they have our best interest in mind, not their own bottom line.

As always, I was very pleased with the work that was performed. I have used Standard and Heating for many years and I have always been pleased with the work provided and the advice that has been given to me in regards to the mechanicals located in my home The technicians are very polite and informative concerning the performance of my furnace, air conditioner, water heater etc. Also, the Smart Club Membership that they offer is fantastic. I am a member and it is nice to know that they are there if and when you need them. I think that Standard Heating and Air Conditioning provides excellent service and they make it easy to contact them when needed.

Very polite, very neat. They always do their work and give very precise recommendations on any changes you need to make in the maintenance. He also changed the filter for me while he was here and cleaned out the AC. They gave me $25.00 off for each inspection even though I wasn't aware that a coupon was even available at the time. They have installed furnaces and AC in two different houses for me now and I have always been extremely pleased with their service and prices. Very reliable. Very service oriented.

Our technician was very courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. Gave our furnace a tune up to get us through the winter.
