The person who worked on our job was Jeff. He did a really good job -- showed up on time, provided a good explanation of what he needed to do and why, was accommodating to our schedule, and cleaned up after himself. In both the garage and the bathroom, you can't tell there was ever a leak. Jeff did a great job!

Matt did an exceptional job for us. He came out the previous Friday to quote our job, and was able to fit us in his schedule the following week. Overall the quality of his work was excellent, and he was timely and professional. There was one corner wall where the mud cracked along the tape line. We contacted Matt, and he was out the following morning to resolve the problem area. This is a true sign of ensuring world class customer satisfaction. We will have him back out to finish our basement when we are ready. Thanks Matt!

This morning I was supposed to meet Matt at 9am at my home to price my two projects. I waited for 30 minutes. No call. And he 'no showed' the appointment. I left work for this meeting and I do not appreciate him wasting my valuable time. I would be causious if you decide to hire this business - if he isn't professional enough show for a meeting, I question how professional he will be on the projects he oversees. Very disappointing.

Made an appointment for an estimate at 9am. I received at text at 8:50 am stating that something had come up and the appointment was being cancelled. It has been 2 weeks and have not received a follow up call. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

It was okay. Their estimate was right time on. They were on time and met their schedule. However there were some spots on the wall that were not sanded so when we painted those didn't look good. Overall the work was good.

The estimate was done over the phone, the work was scheduled and performed on time with an initial 1 day slip to the start date. The work was excellent, and the workers friendly and professional. They worked with the fact that we have dogs and did not have an issue. The only issue with the work was the lack of cleanup after the final sanding. The surfaces were sanded to paint ready, but the dust in the room was severe, and took a while to clean up so we could start painting.

. They squeezed us in in less than a week, and finished a day ahead of schedule! They covered everything nicely, very little dust escaped from the room to the rest of the house. The room was cleaner after they finished than before they started, and the walls were lovely.

I have to say I was impressed with Matt the owner when he came to my house. He walked me thru the entire process and explained everything from removal to cost. The work they did was great-I'm very happy. I did add a small 10x10 room to the project with the same thing-I was shocked at the extra cost of an extra $450 to do such a small room. The other issue I had was that communication was the good. I might be old fashion but I don't think you text message your client to tell them when you plan to be there the night before or early in the morning. When you work and other family members do also, you can't text us early in the morning to let us know. There were a couple days also where they told us they'd be there by a certain time and didn't show up until 45 minutes later. There was one time I was told there was a problem with one of the guys trucks and that's why he was late. You would think that a phone call would help me as the homeowner know why I was still waiting especially when I took off work to let the guy in and talk about a couple of things. I left and went to work. Like I said, I'm happy with the finished work but not completely happy with the way certain things were handled.

My experience with the was fine. They were excellent. Everything was fine about their professionalism, quality of service, clean up, and so forth.

I emailed company and received no response after waiting 4 days. I followed up with a phone call to Matt, no answer and received a message that his voicemail box was full. It seems like people are pleased with his work, so I have to think perhaps he is too busy to keep up with simple consumer service.

Matt came out for the lookover and quote. Very professional. Set up the week for work to be done. Showed up on time each and every day. Work was perfect. Covered everything and cleaned up each and everyday. Job done to outstanding standards. Fixed some little areas that we didn't even know we had problems with. Finished right on schedule. AWESOME team!!!!

Our timeframe was very tight and having contacted McCloskey at the last minute they did a great job fitting us in. The drywall guys did a fantastic job, extremely courteous and even clean which is hard to do with drywall. They cleaned up each night and took all the garbage with them. We were sad to see them leave knowing that a different crew would do the taping. The taping crew was equally awesome. They did a great job, had excellent communication and did quality work. Clean up was well done as well. Our new ceilings are perfect and the walls are fantastic as well. I would highly recommend McCloskey to anyone and have already recommended them to a few people. Throughout the entire experience we were kept informed on who would be coming over, what service they would be doing and when they would be there. All of the people were very punctual, friendly and professional. I will definitely use them for projects in the future.

He did a really good job. He masked everything up with plastic and covered the floor. He cleaned up. It was really nice how he painted the ceiling.

Everything went excatly as planned for the most part, the guys did a great job and were very friendly and respected our time and space. I would use them again in the future. Great price as well! It was a lot of work.

We fully remodeled our 880 square foot basement (minus the utility room), the walls and ceiling look amazing! We could not be happier with the space and the work performed by McCloskey Drywall Inc. They were efficient, quick, and surprisingly clean; I was dreading the mess I thought it would create. We have other projects in the house we will be contacting them about this summer.

Just got back a former rental that had been on a CD which came back a mess. The bathroom had holes in it plus water damage so the walls were removed to the studs. I had a previous person come out (not an Angie member) and he kept jacking up the price. I gave Matt a call, he gave me a quote over the phone. I asked that he come out to make sure due to my previous experience and he did with the quote still the same. His Workers were prompt and did a great job. I especially liked "Tom" who was the taper and finish guy. He explained everything so that I understood and answered all of my questions. I was really happy from the first contact to the last. I found them on Angie's List. I've already recommended them to other people. The quality of their workmanship was outstanding and their team was a delight to work with. When you hire a drywaller you want him to do an outstanding job, and they did an outstanding job. They were very conscientious about cleaning up after themselves. They were the most expensive place I talked to, but they also did the best job. I score them high in value, but they were not inexpensive. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

First we want to say that Matt McCloskey and his team were absolutely the best contractors we have ever dealt with. Now for the details. Matt responded promptly to my first phone call and scheduled an estimate appointment for the next day. He arrived on time. He measured carefully and discussed all options with us. We explained we just wanted the walls finished, and were not going to do the ceiling. Matt gave us his estimate before he left. Later in the day, his proposal arrived by email. We had several other bids by highly rated Angie's List contractors. Matt could have started our project right away, but we asked him to give us a week to remove stuff we had stored in our basement. When the scheduled day for the drywall to be delivered arrived, Nature did not cooperate. It was bitterly cold with a fierce north wind and the drywall supplier felt they could not deliver 54 inch by 12 foot sheets in that wind. We totally agreed! The next day, Friday, the drywall sheets were delivered and carried through our front door and down stairs to the basement, with no damage at all to our floors or hallway. The next day, Saturday, Matt's team arrived at 7AM. They hung the drywall in one day, removed all scraps and vacuumed carefully. The following week consisted of taping, edging, and mudding. Again they cleaned up every day. Sanding took a day, and again there was no mess. The last day, Matt's team prime painted the walls. We had expected them to spray the walls, but the two men decided to roll the paint on to eliminate the risk of overspray on our unfinished ceiling and floor. Each member of Matt's team was professional and friendly. Matt kept in touch with us by text message throughout the process. Every contractor should be that good! A big thanks to Matt and his team. And thanks to Angie's List, too.

It went very well. Matt was friendly, punctual, and all about customer service. Our house is for sale so he understood our desire to keep costs down. We haven't had the work done yet since they are cosmetic in nature. He went completely out of his way to do a repair on the spot that would help the "showing" of our home. We will be using his services if the sale doesn't go through.
