Bought an investment home and called JNJ before closing. Jono said he would happily come out and inspect the home and give his opinion on what was needed and approximate costs. I had used him before and was very happy, he did not charge for the time spent with me as I guess he knew he would be doing the work. Anyway he took measurements etc and a week later had some accurate detail, which cost wise was very close to what he said the day of the inspection. His crew came in, made a mess, fixed it up and did a great job. Curtis is a genius with tiles, first time I met a new member of his team Josh, he too is a good guy.They fixed a structural issue and put in a bunch of LVLs - prior owners did some very bad work. Once they had the house straight and steady they framed and finished all the rest. They went a little of budget and time, but Jono did warn me that there could be issues once they opened up walls etc. The reason for the additional time and cost was the structural engineer fees and the materials to fix. JNJ again did a great job. Honest guys, would totally trust them in my home and fully recommend them.

They were really great. They were on time, did a good quality job and were reasonably priced. Their workmanship was good. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I had forgotten about the appointment, but when JNJ showed up and I wasn't quite prepared it did not faze them at all. They did an excellent job of repairing the caulking on my bathtub. It turned out that the ceramic tile I wanted them to patch in my kitchen was too far gone for a simple patch job, but Jonathan was very flexible and offered to take on some other tasks around the house instead. JNJ was professional and competent, and I plan to hire them again in the future. I don't hesitate in giving them my highest recommendation.

Jon and his team arrived on the date he stated he would and the work went very quickly. I was not at the house nor did I need to be which was nice and he was very professional and helpful with the information he provided. He also was prompt with an estimate for replacing the roof which I had also requested.

We purchased the AngiesList deal for the roof inspection. Jonathan and another person came by on the scheduled date and inspected the roof and made some recommendations. These recommendations were in line with an earlier inspection and we were happy with the estimates provided to complete the work. The work itself was completed promptly and the work area was clean. The tuck pointing on the chimney looks great and everything else was completed beyond satisfaction. The company was clear and prompt in communication and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We will hire them again and highly recommend them.

My experiece with them was ok. They didn't finish the work in one day. They said they would come back within the next day or so to complete the work. I had to email them about a week after they were here for them to come back to finish the work.

Took four attempts plus a call to Angie's List to get a returned phone call from this provider. On the scheduled day they were 30 minutes late with no phone call. When I phoned the provider they said they could not come because it had rained and we rescheduled for the following Friday. They did come and spend time on the roof - I think they even used a hammer. They indicated some repairs were needed and promised an estimate within 2 weeks and indicated they were busy because of the response to the Angie's List deal. It has been over three weeks and no response. We were considering a whole new roof but will definately keep looking.

I also asked for estimates for several other jobs around the house. Some of them I accepted on the spot -they said they could do them in less than 2 weeks- while others -like a new bathtub- they needed more time to get a more accurate estimate. However I never heard back. They didn't come back to do the jobs that we agreed on them doing, and they never provided me with the more accurate estimates for the other jobs. It has now been 6 weeks with no word. I guess I'll never get my $200 worth of repairs from this company. I will update if they ever come back or call me to get this resolved.

It was a deal that Angie's List offered for a roof check. They were very good with communicating. They showed up when they were supposed to and did a really thorough job.

These guys came out promptly to give estimates, and did the work within a few weeks. Very professional to work with, very nice people. It is very difficult to find anybody that will do roof repairs (I must have talked to five other companies, most said they only do full roof replaces, and one told me to call back next spring !) -- but these guys did the trick, and did it on time. Very impressed with these guys and would highly recommend them.

As they were running late from a previous job, they called and informed me so I could plan. They arrived ready to work. Were cheerful, worked quickly and efficiently, did everything I asked and more. Were done early. Cleaned up well after themselves. I am more than satisfied.

Jon was very accomodating and focused on getting me the bathroom I wanted. Other bidders were really limited in what they could offer in my budget; Jono was committed to making it happen. This included building a custom glass and tile shower with a bench. We measured it out in the bid, but then also made sure that the size and shape was appropriate as construction was going on. The project also included a drop-in tub with tile surround and floor tile. It actually looks great now, and I'm thrilled with the shower and tub. The project took a little longer than I would have liked, but the results were exactly what I wanted, and actually ended up under budget. I would certainly use JNJ again and actually already have referred my sister to them for her kitchen remodel.

All of the work that JNJ completed for us was outstanding. They stayed within budget, communicated with us throughout the projects, and were always professional. From what I read, many people have had issues with the installation of penny round tiles that we chose for our bathroom but our installation was done right the first time. When we discovered that we had rotten floor boards under our old flooring, JNJ came out the same day to replace them so that we were able to stay on time with the installation of the new floor. That was the type of thing that really made us appreciate their personal touch. The shower and tub were installed on the scheduled day and they even changed out some piping that needed replacing. Jonathan recommended a cabinet maker for our vanity that we were very happy with. He also delivered and installed the vanity for less than the cabinet maker would have done it for; again, great personal touch. I thought I would try to install the wainscoting myself, but after messing with it for a little while I decided to have JNJ do that as well. I am glad I made that decisions; I was very impressed with their attention to detail. We were so impressed with how the bathroom turned out we went back to JNJ when we did some work to a room in the basement. Again, everything went extremely well. The framing, drywall, and mud and tape was done on time and under budget and the quality was outstanding. When we were ready for the trim, they cam back and did that perfectly. We had a tricky area along the stairs that required a 2 feet wide and 7 feet long board to be installed around a support beam. JNJ did this flawlessly using a number of challenging saw cuts on the board. I would recommend contacting JNJ to bid any home project that you have. In our experiences their prices have been on par or better than the competition and the work has exceeded our expectations.

They are great to work with and were on time everyday. They stayed within budget. If their was going to be a cost over-run, they let me know about it. The one issue was a beam installation, which was unknown prior to the work, and they let me know during the project. They answered all of our questions and cleaned-up daily. This is a superb job and my friends and neighbors complement our new kitchen!

Overall, the experience could not have been better!!! As a first time home buyer I did not know who I should hire for a job like this. I was spending a lot of money and wanted to be assured of a job that was up to my high standards. Jon was extremely professional right from the beginning until the end. We had him over for a basic estimate and showed him rough sketches from an interior designer with material samples. Further, anytime we asked if something could be done the answer was always yes. He drew up an estimate with the information given that was very reasonable. We agreed and work began two weeks later. Jon and Curtis showed up everyday on time and worked through the day. They always cleaned up after themselves. They were always extremely courteous and held themselves in a very proper way. Which, was very nice when people are in your home for two weeks. I always trusted them in our home and they were very non-invasive of our personal space. Jon's attention to detail is outstanding! He has a very critical eye (which is wonderful because so does my girlfriend) that never missed a beat. It was Jon's skill that took our vision from sketches into reality within the space. There was no lack of complication to our design, with five different tile patterns, and everything was executed perfectly! The job was completed in the projected time and the estimate was perfect down to the dollar!!! We couldn't have been happier! We are a retail manufacturer jewelry store that needed to renovate an existing, dated basement for our production studio. We received several quotes and Jonathan came in right around the middle. Since he was a referral and we had heard nothing but good things about him, we contracted him to do the work. Jonathan and crew performed all of the above services excellently. The highlight of the job was the slate tile in the hallway and staircase to the basement. His attention to detail is second-to-none and this is coming from someone who "needs" to micro-manage every last detail. Jonathan is a pleasure to work with and I truly trust him. Having worked with numerous contractors over the years, you can really tell he knows his stuff when you talk with him, and he is very comfortable to work with. He followed up with me with updates every so often on the job, which was nice and executed his work exactly how we discussed. I have since hired him to preform work in my house and I was, again, ecstatic with the results given the consequences of the project (he removed a load bearing wall, re-supported with LVLs and carried the load down into new footings in my slab all while not harming an old coved plaster ceiling). Jono (the owner of JNJ) is really detail orientated. JNJ did most of the work on my remodel. I actually started using him to oversee some other contractors I was unhappy with, as the work he did for me I was very impressed with. He is super friendly and I would trust him with my house keys anytime. I did have an issue with one of his workers once and explained this to Jono, it was taken care of and the job was completed perfectly. He is very courteous and respectful towards my property but importantly my family. My home is in Highland Park - St Paul, ask JNJ for pics - it's a a great job and we love it.
