I have been bring my car to Four Star for several years, overall the most helpful and informative when making decisions...Wish I lived closer! Still travel (when possible) for all my repairs and planned maintenance.

They were able to accommodate me immediately and the service was prompt.
I've been going to 4 Star Auto since the mid 1990's. although not much in the past 6 years only because we moved away for a few years and since we moved back we had a discount from the dealership. But I was always happy with their service and their price and have always felt that they were trustworthy. I plan to go back to them now that our dealership deal is almost done.

I was recommended to them by a relative that said they were pretty good. They were fast and cheap. They had the work done in a couple of hours. They are phenomenal.

The van was making squeaking noises while the engine was running. I called Four Star, and I was able to get an immediate appointment. I dropped the car off the following morning at 7am, and had received a quote by 8am. The work was completed by early afternoon, and the actual cost was within 3 dollars of the estimate. Everyone I worked with was very professional and polite.

I decided to go with Four Star Auto when looking for a car shop because they saved me a lot of money. I knew I needed new ball joints, but every other shop I'd called about replacing ball joints told me I'd need a whole new control arm as well. New control arms cost much more than just getting the ball joints, and I wasn't convinced this was necessary. When I called Four Star they assured me that they could indeed replace just the ball joints without replacing the whole control arm, and I was happy to hear that of course! I brought my car in a couple days after, and they replaced the ball joints as promised and did an alignment. The car was driving great again, and Four Star saved me a bunch of money. I have been there many times since, and have always gotten great service.

I have been taking my 2004 Volvo XC70 to this shop for two years for regular maintenance, and for the occasional unexpected repair. Good service, fair prices and excellent attention to detail. Highly recommended.

In Feb of 09 I had the air intake gasket on my car replaced at Four Star. In July, the car started acting funny again, so I assumed it was the same gasket. I called Four Star on Friday to see if it was still under warranty (they guarantee their work). Although I was over on the mileage, I was under the warranty time limit, but Four Star agreed to reduce the labor costs ($250 estimate) and replace for the part for me. So, I set up an appointment on to have it checked out. They had me drop off my car the Tuesday night so they could check it out Wednesday morning. Fortunately, they were able to loan me a car because I live in Woodbury and work in Chaska and don't have a ride there/to work. I got the call Wednesday afternoon that the part was fine, but some hoses were loose. They tightened up the hoses and there was no charge! When I went back to pick up the car, they didn't even charge me for the rental! Even though they are "out-of-the-way," I will continue to use them for fixing my cars!

The experience with Four Star Auto went very well. I go to them all of the time. I will use their services again in the future.

They are a really honest company. They are very dedicated to their work. They are also very down to earth people. They also have very reasonable prices for the services they provide.

I HAD JUST A LITTLE TIME TO GET A TIRE LEAK FIXED, AND WHILE THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO TAKE ME IN THE ON SPOT THEY REFERRED ME TO TWO SHOPS. KUDOS TO THEM FOR DOING SO! I ALSO HAD THEM PERFORM AN OIL CHANGE AND THEY ALSO DID A THOROUGH CHECK OF MY CAR.

WE HAVE BEEN BRINGING OUR CAR TO FOUR STAR FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. RECENTLY HAD A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE WHICH I THOUGHT I SHOULD SHARE WITH ANGIE'S LIST PEOPLE. I WAS TOLD I HAD 3 BENT RIMS (THE THING YOUR TIRE ATTACHES TO) LAST SPRING. I HAD THOSE REPLACED. THIS FALL I WAS TOLD I HAVE 3 BENT RIMS (I HAVE ONLY DRIVEN THE CAR 4000 MILES). IT APPEARS THAT THEY MADE A MISTAKE AND REPLACED ONE WRONG RIM LAST SPRING. THEY OFFERED TO REPLACE ONE FREE OF CHARGE, BUT THE REASONS FOR THE BENT RIMS SEEM TO BE A MYSTERY. I'VE BEEN HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY IN THE PAST AND I WILL PROBABLY STILL USE THEM IN THE FUTURE.

THEY ARE BOTH FRIENDLY AND HONEST. THEY HAVE DONE USED CAR INSPECTIONS FOR ME AND REPLACED MY ENTIRE EXHAUST SYSTEM IN THE PAST ON A MOMENTS NOTICE. THIS TIME THEY COULD HAVE REPLACED MY BRAKES AND CHARGED ME $200 BUT INSTEAD THEY DID ONLY THAT WHICH NEEDED FIXING. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN FOR FUTURE REPAIRS AND RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS.
