The job went very well. They gave me a quote which was a little higher, but, we liked them better than the others, so, we called them to ask if they can lower the quote and they did drop their quote. They came over and had the work done in a day. I was not there during the work, but, they did a good job and it looks good now. There has been no problem and it has not cracked at all. Their price was good and they were easy to work with.

There was a bit of a disappointment at first because I could see where they had to patch because they ran out of asphalt. One small area was lower than the rest. They responded quickly to my concerns, agreed the driveway did not meet their standards, and totally replaced the first installation. The second installation is perfect. They went above and beyond what I expected to correct the problem.

I was satisfied with their service. Everything went well. They were professional and cleaned up well. They did not show up on the day they scheduled. It could have been a miscommunication.

Great. Pleasant salesman, terrific, professional guys did the concrete and asphalt work. They had to design it , and figure out the drainage to eliminate an ice dam at the bottom of garage door. Haven't lived thru the winter with it, yet, but it's looking good! I do not have before and after photos....but, I'll bet they do! The job went flawlessly (for me)...on time...on budget. They even came back to smooth down a small asphalt "bump" where the concrete meets the black top (too fragile to steam roller) I love these guys. Not the cheapest, but I've lived long enough to know that you get what you pay for. With Earth Wizards, we feel that we were VERY lucky, and that they did more than we expected. Now I want to hire them to do more creative landscaping, and get my yard in shape. I know it will be money well spent..and it will be beautiful. These guys do it all..and well. I trust them.

The sales person, Shelly Skow, was excellent. She provided a thorough estimate and explanation of the work that needed to be done. Her bid was competitive and clear. The company was willing to put a payment plan in place that fit our budget and perform the work in the timeframe that worked for us. The driveway that was installed is beautiful and the workers were very careful to get it right. They explained care and maintenance of the new driveway well. I would highly recommend using Earth Wizards. We collected about 5 bids for the work.

I really liked the fact that they came in, did a super clean job and cleaned up after themselves once the job was done. We got some good advice from them. We had some challenges with our yard. Our property was on a clay bed. So they did asphalting and also put in some brick papers around the area of our front porch. They were knowledgeable about what we should expect through the various seasons and how to maintain things. We had one problem though. A few days after they poured the asphalt in the driveway, it rained and an area of our driveway was actually holding water. We don?t blame them for that or we don?t doubt the quality of their work. We just think it was the nature of the earth underneath the driveway. We called them and they came back to patch it. They came by very quickly. Their prices were good. They were not the cheapest, but they offered value for money.

Earth Wizards was one of the higher bids for the work, however we went with them because they were willing to work with our schedule. We hired a company to do some landscaping and they wanted the driveway to be done, before they came out so that they could work to the edge of the driveway. Their wanting the driveway done put us in kind of a time crunch, but Earth Wizards was willing to work with our schedule and get us in quickly. They came out and did the work quickly. The work turned out really pretty, well as pretty as a black asphalt driveway could be. They were able to widen it in a couple of places where it had deteriorated over the years. They were good about cleaning up after themselves when the work was finished. I was very impressed with the sales lady. She was very pleasant to talk with and was very thorough when she told us what they would do and how they would do it. I was pleased with their work, even though the price was a little bit much.

This was a horrible experience. The workmanship was poor- I am extremely dissatisfied with the outcome and I would them to others. I was angry because we signed a contract and she kept charging me for additional.

They came out and gave a competitive estimate. They showed up when they said they would and did the work. We were satisfied with the work.

My initial contact was with Lilas Anderson, one of the previous owners of the company. Lilas and her husband have sold the business to their daughter Stacy. They are still very involved with the business. Lilas was great to talk to, very pleasant first impression. Then Gary came out to look over the job, and to give me an idea of what we needed. Very interesting to speak with, incredibly knowledgeable. (That's what 40 plus years experience brings to the job!!!) We set a date for the work, and they were right on schedule, trying to get the job done before the rain. I had the opportunity to be there the whole time the crew of seven people was working. Right from the start, they were all giving each other a bad time, and you could see that they truly enjoyed what they did. It was great watching and listening as they were there. From beginning to end, everyone was non-stop. They hardly had to talk work, they seemed to know what the other person was going to do next, and it just flowed. Was interesting for me to watch how the whole thing got done. A lot of physical work, yet they just kept laughing and having a great time. Most of them have been working together for quite a few years, and you can see the results of great team work. I have already told several friends that if they ever need driveway work done, definitely call Earth Wizards. As for me, there isn't anyone else I have any desire to have do any future related work. I have some landscaping work that I am considering having done next summer, so I am sure I will have the pleasure of working with them again. Contact person, Shelly, was wonderful. She arrived as scheduled, measured, checked carefully for the drainage issues and submitted an estimate. Because the city was installing new sewers in our area, the work was scheduled to be done when the city finished. On stated day, crew arrived and removed all old driveway (including tree stump) and put in gravel/sand mixture. After a few days, company installed asphalt aggregate. We did not drive on it for a week or more. Drainage seems good. We both had concerns that rocks/gravel seem to show through the asphalt cover. However Shelly said that this is normal with the use of recycled/natural materials. We will all review the general appearance in the spring and see how it survives the winter.

Shelly was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Our project was different than most because we have a long driveway that is shared with the house behind us. The costs are split for the shared portions of the driveway. Shelly worked with us to determine the split and the cost was equal or less than the other bids we got. We went with Earth Wizards Inc because of Shelly. The crews that worked on the driveway were very professional. They did a great job! I highly recommend Earth Wizards Inc.

It was great, just like when they installed our driveway three years earlier. Also did the neighbor's across the street.

Sharon provided me an estimate. She is very professional and courteous. The estimate was extremely detailed with whats and ifs. The price is high.

They were very professional and on time. However, after the job was done there was an additional charge that was not discussed. I just paid the bid amount of what I owed the company, and I have not heard anything back from them. So we will just see if I have to pay the additional 250.00.

I think the experience has been very good. The price probably is on the higher end, but they have been very responsive in terms of any problems or questions that have come up. They even came back and helped regrade after the guys who installed the waterline dug up the driveway and didn't repatch their work very well. They went the extra mile because I had to get a variance from the city to install this driveway. The woman in charge on the driveway department came with me to the meeting to answer any technical questions for no charge.

I thought they did a great job. They came out and got it done quickly. They slanted the sidewalks so everything slopes and the water runs away from the house.

Shelly was great. Worked with me on the price as much as possible and the final result is a great driveway at a price I could afford. I was concerned about the grading and water draining but she assured me they could grade it properly. My driveway is huge and I was impressed with how fast they got the job completed.

They showed up quickly, everything made sense, and it has been an absolute treat. It was a difficult job for them because there was no grade for them to work with and they figured out how to make it drain.

Once I signed with Earth Wizards, Shelly walked me through the process of what would be happening. Gary called me the day before they were to come out and start digging up the old one to ask about some planters I had in the driveway. I thought it was great that he came out and checked things over before actually starting the job. They dug up the old driveway and had to remove some pavers in order to "slant down" (my words, I don't know how else to describe it) to my back patio. They told me all about it before hand so I wasn't surprised. They also had to readjust my gutters to drain properly, once the new driveway was put it. They did that after talking to me about it, as well. The driveway looks great and it was a pleasure working with Shelly, Gary and everybody at Earth Wizards.

The crew came out and tore up the old driveway and laid down the base for new driveway. They did not return for 2 weeks to finish the job. Part of the reason for the delay was an old tree stump which needed to be ground out before they could proceed. Even after the stump was out it took about a week for them to return. Overall, they were very responsive and did a good job. I think they were fairly priced. There was a coupon from Angie's List on the internet for 5% off total bill. This was not mentioned at time of bid but upon final payment due, I asked about the 5% discount and was told that it was already figured into the total due. It was not noted on the bill as such and was not mentioned prior to paying final payment.

They came over and I really think they went out of their way to do a good job. They called to check up and make sure everything was okay.

Earth Wizards was quick to come out and give a fair bid. Shelly the estimator was very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions and concerns. With the first rain, I noticed that they had graded perfectly as the water run into the alley versus flooding my garage. The driveway looks great! All the neighbors are jealous! Family members are calling them to get their own driveways done.

THE OWNER WAS THERE AT ALL TIMES TO MAKE SURE THAT THE WORK WAS BEING DONE CORRECTLY. HE ACTUALLY PAVED THE DRIVEWAY HIMSELF. THE SALES LADY WAS ALSO THERE EVERY DAY CHECKING ON THE JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE. I AM NOT SURE IF THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST, BUT I FELT THAT I GOT MY MONIES WORTH. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL.
