I called late in the afternoon and left a message. They called at 8:00 AM the next morning and said someone would be out, hopefully before noon. At 10:00AM I received a call saying they could come right away which was great. Two technicians came and performed the necessary work. It took them a little over an hour. They were very pleasant and cleaned up the work sites. I have some projects in the near future that I will certainly ask them to take care of.

Very well. They were able to stop by earlier than expected, but called to make sure that was fine. The were polite, professional and fast.

They were on time. Two gentlemen, working on the separate projects, finished up job in an hour. Part of price [$14.00] was replacing defective GFCI unit. Everything cleaned. I was very pleased.

I called Monday and spoke with Mike. I scheduled a 9 am visit to the house for that Wednesday. No one showed up Wednesday morning, so I called at 10:30 and spoke with Mike again. He said he appeared not to have created a work order and took responsibility for the error. He said Bob would be there after his current job. Bob arrived sometime around 12:30. He was courteous and completed the job quite satisfactorily. He also explained that the wiring had probably been damaged by heat from the previous fixture, which was attached right up against the ceiling. He also recommended we replace another closed-type fixture with a hanging fixture. I would use this company again but would call back the day before or the day of the appointment to confirm it. Both gentlemen were professional during the contacts but I gave them a B for the missing work order.

Electrician was very professional and spent the time to show me where the space heater might fail, and its symptoms. I asked him if he would repair the doorbell at the same time - and again, he was very polite and helpful. I will definitely make them my first call.

Called, and he explained a very simple fix over the phone and it worked. "I'd hate to come out and charge you $85 for something that easy". I appreciate the time he spent, even though it cost him $85. I respect the integrity, and next time I'll call them first.

The lights went out in half of the second floor of our house. No circuit breakers were tripped. We called Brothers to sort out the problem. We were able to schedule a visit within 24 hours of our call. The electricians arrived on time. They promptly diagnosed the problem as a loose wire in our breaker panel. They fixed it quickly. As with many home repair issues, we were pretty much at their mercy. If they had been inclined to milk us for more money, they could have. How would we have known? I appreciate their integrity.

Mike was very helpful in explaining what to do to look for a fix. He was patient, stayed on the phone with me while I looked for a reset button, explaining what he thought had happened. I found the button that needed to be reset and the problem was fixed. I would call this company in the future if I needed help with electrical things.

Bob from Brothers came out, on time, and spent his time tracking the problems and correcting them. He made all necessary repairs and checked and double-checked his work. I am very impressed. These folks not only know electricity, they know customer service!

In a newly purchased home, there were several minor electrical problems. It turned out they were all a pretty easy fix, but it was well worth it to have a professional diagnosis them. Bob came out and figured things out in less than an hour. He initially charged me $85 but called me soon after he left and said he forgot to give me the Angies discount and said he would adjust the bill to $70.

They were excellent. They were very responsive, had a good price and had great follow up. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

He was courteous and came out promptly. I would call him back in the future.

This is the second time I used Brothers Electric and was again thrilled with their service. I called at 8:30am to make an appointment. It wasn't an emergency so they scheduled me initially for the next week which was fine. Then they called back and saw that they had an electrician on the schedule unexpectedly and could come by in 30 minutes. It was perfect. He came by and put in the new fan. He was very professional and friendly. I was again very happy with Brothers Electric.

I paid them around $168 the first time which was actually quite a bit. It was expensive since they had to track down an electrical short. There were two guys who came out and they communicated well with us. It was not an easy thing to find when they came out during their last visit. They charged me $98.75. I was very pleased with the price and the fact that they got it done. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Bob came on time, installed the ceiling fan/light in approximately 1 hour. He cleaned up the area after he was finished. He was very helpful. I

We could not have had a better experience. It is refreshing to work with someone who is professional, prompt and provides excellent quality service.

Denny came out right away and emailed a bid. When I called a few weeks later to accept he was out of town. But an employee scheduled the work. I called to confirm the date the day before, but they were a tad late. Two guys ended up coming and they did a great job. I completely forgot to see if they applied the $15 Angie's List discount. But the price was worth it regardless.

It went fine. Would use them again for electrical.

I called them at 9:30am to request the repair that Home Service Plus said I had to have done. The person answering the phone was direct and matter-of-fact. He made sure that a simple item had been tried before he sent someone out (he tried to avoid charging me for something simple). I was told that he could have someone out probably around noon. He did. The repairman came about 11:45. The repairman went to work right away on the problem. Once the problem was identified, the repairman told me that the item was something that Home Service Plus should have been able to cover. He offered to wait to do the repair, if I wanted the previous repairman to come out and fix it. Then he offered to go out and pick up the item, free of charge, which he did. He returned shortly, and made the repair quickly and without fuss. He even suggested that I call Home Service Plus and submit his invoice to them for reimbursement. He knew what they did and did not cover! In Short: The guys were direct, punctual, knowledgable, and went the extra mile to get my central air working again. Thank-you Brothers! I would trust them again anytime.

I meant to write this review earlier, and then thought I would let it go, but decided I need to write it. I called Brothers in February and spoke with Mike, telling him I found them on Angies List. I explained to him that I had an electrical problem upstairs and had spent over $200 having an electrician diagnose the issue last year, so I was looking for just a quick analysis of what it would take to fix it. I relayed to Mike the entire story of what was wrong and what I needed and we thought probably an hour of time should have been fine, so I was willing to pay for their hourly rate, due mostly to their stellar rating on this site. Well, the electrician was a bit late, but that wasn't such a big deal. It was snowy outside, so I asked him to remove his large dirty, wet work boots, but he refused, telling me he couldn't because of electrical grounding, and immediately trudged downstairs to look at the fusebox without asking me anything. Once down there, he started inspecting the fuse box, where there was never an issue, and asked me what the problem was. All the time I had spent on the phone telling Mike about the issue upstairs was wasted, because I would now have to start all over again. After about 10 minutes, I said can we please go upstairs, where the issue is. We went upstairs and I had to pretty much force him to listen to the details from when I had the previous electrician out. I was able to show him an entire series of lights and outlets that were daisy chained and no longer working. He looked at two nearby light fixtures, on a different circuit, that were working, and decided they were too old and had to go. They were the only working lights in my upstairs. Also, there was some white tape over a hole in the wall that had been there since before I moved in, and it didn't look too bad, but he insisted that he had to cut it open to make sure there wasn't wiring in there, which of course there wasn't. He finally came up with a plan to fix what was actually not working, and I said I would have to think about it, but in the meantime, I needed light upstairs, so he put in two unsightly replacement fixtures for the lights he had removed. This all took over 2.5 hours, and he left wires, dead fixtures, basically the entire mess just sitting on my floor and other areas of the upstairs, plus the hole in the wall and the general feeling of dealing with someone who thinks they just know better, even though you've already paid over $200 for a previous inspection. To top it off, he didn't even give me the Angies List discount. I called back the next day and spoke with Mike to tell him I wasn't satisfied. He said that was one of their best electricians and he would speak to him and call me back the following Monday to get this resolved. He never called and, as I said above, I thought I would just let it go, but it's really disappointing to see such a high rating for a company that obviously doesn't have much respect for its customers.

Two electricians arrived on time; took one hour to install new outlet and replace another one; and cleaned up everything. All went smoothly. I have used this company once before and both were real good experiences.

The two workers were pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. The worked quickly and effectively to complete their task.

Overall, things went fine. They sent two electricians instead of one and got the job done in an hour, which was cheaper than 1 man for 2 hours. And they honored our $15 Angie's List coupon on the spot. The only issue left unresolved were the flickering under-cabinet lights. They suspected the transformer casing was too small for adequate air circulation and cooling so the automatic reset was being triggered. They left the casing open to expose more air to the transformer and if that solved the problem, they said we could easily install a larger casing. Unfortunately, the lights continue to flicker so we'll need to call them back.

Very well: on time (very fast service for the estimate and the work) and on budget.

I have used Brothers Electric many times for replacing fixtures, repairing old electrical outlets or wires, and most recently, to run cable from the basement to the upper floor in my new-to-me, very old house. There isn't a thing Bob can't do or figure out. It amazes me every time. Just a month ago he figured out and corrected a very unusual wiring problem that left me without eletricity in half of the house. This time - the cable wiring - he figured out a way and was done in no time at all. I wouldn't use any other company.
