I got a voicemail answer with the first company I called. All Mechanical had good rating on the list, so I called them. They set up an appointment for the next day. They came when they said they were going to come.

Went great...both times Mark came out the same day I called!!

I was told service guy (sorry, can't remember his name) would be at my place at 11AM, and he showed up exactly at 11AM. Very thorough check of furnace. I am from California and had lot of dumb questions about using a furnace during the winter (regular maintenace, etc.). The service guy was so patient, and he didn't make me feel stupid with all of my questions. I feel a lot more educated and less intimidated about maintaining my furnace. Work was completed within one-hour. Great service!

I needed to get the work done in a short timeframe. They came the next day and quickly did the needed work for a very good price. They were very professional and did a great job.

When I tried to turn up my heat for the first time this year I noticed that it was not getting warm in the house. I would turn the thermostat on and hear a repetitive clicking noise but no heat. After messing with the thermostat myself for one night (I am a first time home owner and had NO clue what to do), I called a company and stressed that I have an infant and son and needed to be able to use my heat as soon as possible. They said the earliest appointment was in 4 days so I took it. I waited another day and then decided there was no way I could wait longer (my infant was wearing double layer clothes and a hat and mittens inside). I called ALL MECHANICAL at 3 in the afternoon, explained my problem and within 20 MINUTES someone was at my home looking at my furnace. The mechanic was very helpful and detailed and did not mind me peeking over his shoulder and asking a billion questions. He came across something that was unfamiliar that was set up by the previous homeowner and took pictures to try to figure out what it could be and whether or not I needed it (this was after he had already fixed my furnace mind you). I would definitely use this company again. They were quick, responsive, helpful, professional and thorough.

Very well. I called on a hot Friday morning to report that my AC wasn't functioning. The first four calls I made couldn't get anyone there until the following Monday. Mark was available that same afternoon. He arrived exactly on time, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and was gone in less than 1 hour. Kathleen was very helpful on the phone and sent a follow-up note. Mark was polite and got right to business.

I have used All Mechanical on several times for work on my rental properties and in my personal res. They are quick and competitively priced.

From the time of my phone call to the time the furnace was fixed was under four hours. Can't beat that for promptness. Diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired quickly as well. I gave a B on price only because I'm a new home owner and have no idea if what I paid was a good price or not.

I was extremely pleased with everything from start to finish, Kathleen was great on the phone, and worked around my schedule to set up the appointment quickly, she even called to tell me Mark would be early. He listened to me, asked questions and then showed me exactly what was wrong with the igniter, and fixed some questionable work done by another repair company that the previous homeowner had used and replaced a bad switch. My house is warmer than it's ever been before- thank you!

I thought that using this company was awesome. I feel that the technician paid attention to what needed to be done. He was thorough in the cleaning and my furnace has been efficient.

OK, I was shocked at the price for the new parts. After the work was done, several weeks later they called and apologized for incorrectly pricing the part. They sent me a refund check in the mail for the difference.

Blower went out Friday night so I had no heat overnight; called All Mechanical at 9am Saturday. Kathy was a delight on the phone and told me that Mark would be at my house around 1130am. She informed me that there was an increased service call charge for Saturday, which I expected - was just happy that someone could come out on a Saturday! Mark was promptly here at 1130am, diagnosed the issue, called around to find the part, went to pick it up, returned and had in installed in around 40 minutes! Mark was professional and polite. The experience was super!

It went very well and he showed me how to prevent my radiator system from having another problem. Usually a firm will try to over sell or sell some other service and I never encounter that from Mark. He is extremely honest to the point of brusqueness but I can always trust his opinion and not feel pressured about having to do/buy something.

Wanted to remove radiator to strip and paint. Very nice on phone. Came within a few days.

Around 5 pm on Labor day A/C went out. No one would come over. Called All Mechanical Services and they showed up in an hour, like predicted. Very pleasant and informative. They explained preventative measures to avoid a future breakdown. They were good and came out to the house, late on a holiday.

He told us we really didn't need much repair, but since the insurance company was paying for it and insisted that we have it done, we had it repaired.

My air conditioning wasn't working at all. Mark Lauer showed up on time and found that the electrical box on the furnace unit had a loose wire and that my air conditioner didn't need to be replaced! It's 20 years old, so I was prepared for the worst. It took him about 45 minutes total, including the time he looked at my air exchange unit where the last contractor removed the motor (it wasn't working) and never returned it when he found out it wasn't being made anymore. Mark was professional and honest, not out to sell me anything I didn't need -- which is just what I was looking for!

We called in for the furnace to be fixed since we had no heat. They scheduled it the same day, within a few hours of our call. Once he came out, he went through the whole furnace to find the hard to detect problem, describing everything he was doing. He did not have the part so we had to wait until the next morning since it was already early evening, but he was here the next morning with the part and it was fixed. We were very happy with the work and the price. We definitely will use them again.

It went great - we woke up in the morning and the house was freezing. I called Standard and left a message. I received a prompt return and the lady (one of the owners) said she'd have her husband call first so that if it were something simple (like a pilot light), we could fix it over the phone. It turned out not to be fixable over the phone, so the gentleman came out to the house the same day. (NICE- as it was a Friday!) He fixed the thermocoupler and also suggested we get some other pipes replaced that were rusting. (I'm a little fuzzy on that part, as I wasn't there.) But long story short - the service couldn't be beat and from my perspective, the trip charge was fair and the price was right. Especially with the coupon!

Mark showed up on time, asked my husband questions to be sure if the original Minnesgasco person actually checked for smoke and monoxide. Took a look and diagnosed the problem in less than 15 minutes. Fixed it right away. It was a very positive experience and he seemed such an HONEST person, maybe too honest.

Kathleen was very helpful when I called about a heating problem. She explained all cost associated with the service call and immediately made an appointment. Due to my schedule, I required the work be performed on a weekend, which required an additional cost, which I felt was reasonable. Mark was prompt and courteous when he made the service call. I felt very comfortable that he came in and identified the problem and resolved it quickly. It was clear to me that he is trustworthy and would not sell you on doing more than what is absolutely necessary. I will recommend All Mechanical to any friends in need of heating services.

The phone was answered by a family member of Mike's who was extremely friendly. She told us the cost upfront and let us know about the Angie's List discount. She was able to send Mike over within an hour with no rush fee and Mike was able to diagnose and fix the problem at the promised price in less than a half hour or so. Well done. Would use again!

Mark was great. It was a Saturday. I called several places and no one else was answering. Mark answered right away and came to my house with in the hour. Mark was quick to diagnose the problem. He had a replacement part with him, and was able to get it installed immediately. He even checked the coolant levels for me since that had been a problem before.

MARK ARRIVED PROMPTLY, FIXED THE VALVE AND TOOK THE TIME TO CHECK OVER THE REST OF MY (VERY OLD) SYSTEM TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING ELSE WAS WORKING PROPERLY. HE ALSO FED WATER INTO THE SYSTEM WHILE I BLED THE RADIATORS - WHICH WAS OVER AND ABOVE WHAT I ASKED HIM TO DO. I HAVE WORKED WITH HIM BEFORE AND WILL CALL HIM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

I THOUGHT I WAS HIRING MARK TO REPLACE A BASEBOARD HOT WATER HEATER (THE EXTERIOR OF WHICH WAS BADLY DAMAGED BUT IT STILL WORKED), BUT WHEN HE GOT HERE HE EXPLAINED THAT THAT WOULD REQUIRE DRAINING WATER, FLUSHING PIPES, ETC. - A LOT OF WORK IN OTHER WORDS. HE DID STAY FOR 2-3 HOURS, HOWEVER, AND AFTER MUCH TROUBLE WAS ABLE TO REMOVE THE MANGLED OLD HEATER PARTS AND REPLACE WITH NEW ONES. HE WAS REALLY A TROOPER AND DID A GREAT JOB. HE WAS ALSO PROMPT AND VERY QUICKLY RESPONSIVE TO MY INITIAL CALL. IF I HAVE ANY 'REAL' HEATING PROJECTS IN THE FUTURE, I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE HIM AGAIN.
