These guys are awesome! The quality of work is exceptional; they really know what they're doing. And I was really impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Allen was super courteous over the phone. Kevin was really nice as I popped in here and there wanting to know how things were done. He answered all my questions patiently. I shopped around pretty extensively before going with these guys. Their bid was the best price I found for my job.

I called A Pane in the Glass to set up a time for them to take a look at my window that needed replacing. After they took a look at the window and got the details, they gave me a price and asked if I would like to proceed. They were very helpful and courteous and explain the reasoning for the difference in price from the initial estimate (window was slightly bigger and had a grid in it). We decided to proceed and they order the glass and called me to set up an installation time. Technician arrived and installed window and took old broken window away for a small fee. Overall, it was a very simple and headache free experience.

I had a very positive experience with this team. From Allen to the installers, I thought they did a great job. Allen comes out and gives you an honest assessment and competitive price, no hard selling or overselling. I live in a 100+ year old house, so anytime you start taking out windows and doors, challenges arise. This job was no exception. These guys embraced the challenges and solved the problems leaving a high quality finished product. I will definitely use these guys again.

They are willing to let you offer ideas to reduce costs. I provided foam for insulation and saved hundreds. The scheduling was a bit hectic due to other comittments but they got the job done in a week, working late a few times and some half days.

Al came out within 20 minutes after I called him to do an estimate on 3 small panes of glass repair. I asked if they fix sash cords also even though I had planned to have a handyman come in to do them. The estimate he gave me was an incredible value. We got 13 windows with various sash cord and sash weight problems fixed for $390 (the additional $110 was for repair on 3 small panels in divided windows). Our house is over 120 years old and the team took great care of it!! I would recommend them to anyone.

Five windows were purchased/installed. The estimate was very competitive, and the work was done on time in a quality manner. Installers were courteous and we really have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience. Any question we had, we were able to email or call and we received a call or email in return within the same day ... usually within the same hour. We would certainly use again when the rest of our windows need replacing.

Allen was great, very prompt to come out and do the estimate. Price was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received that were double or triple the cost. He gave me several options for replacing a non-standard sized window. Guys who came to do the work were prompt, thorough, and pleasant.

Allen and crew were wonderful to work with. They were punctual, respectful and patient. They took the time to listen and respond to our numerous questions, going above and beyond to provide us with detailed answers. The installation crew worked well together to quickly and efficiently get the job done. We love our new windows and were very pleased with our experience with A Pane in the Glass.

They were done in an hour & 15 minutes. The guys were so nice & quick & clean.

The experience with them was good. They came when they said they were coming. They put the windows in; they looked good and seemed to work fine. When I had them out for an estimate on my couple of other places, they actually came up with a proposal and an estimate for what I actually wanted done as opposed to some of the other companies who wanted to sell me higher priced windows for a price that would make no sense to actually have those. I would use their services again in the future.

Window replacement on old house (built 1900) and did an excellant job on budget. Did not exceed estimate at all. Difficult prjoect as the house is very old and required allot of custom work. Very pleased that work did not exceed the estimate.

Great service by Allen and the team. The estimate was performed and no additional increase after work was performed. I had 9 double hung and 1 large picture window replaced in a 1960's house. They filed all the necessary paperwork with the city and informed me of any 'inspection' concerns prior to their arrival (i had to install a few smoke detectors). They were a prompt and effecient team. As we all know the winter was tough. The windows performed as expected with no drafts and well insulated to the touch. I recently had another company provide me a quote on some other home improvement and they made a comment on how the quality of the window and install. That was good to hear from another window company! Rick

Kevin suggested repairing since the cost to replace vs repair and repaint was comparable. He did a lead test which I really appreciated and also looked at our doors that were having a problem. He was very professional and came out the same day I called him. This business partner Allen followed up a few days later by emailing a more formal bid. We're now deciding when to pull the trigger and have the work done.

Overall project went as scheduled and on budget. Exterior and interior clean up done very well.
