I called late morning and asked for their soonest appointment, they had an opening that afternoon and scheduled me in. Although the service rep was running a little late, he called 1/2 hour before the appointment time to let me know. When he arrived he politely listened to my explanation then tested and found the problem. He had the part needed on hand and the cost was minimal for the part and the replacement. I had a working furnace in about an hour, and he cleaned it out as well! I rarely score anything at the highest rank, but the service from this company had me very happy with the results. I would recommend them to anyone as their service was excellent and the cost was so very reasonable.

We were very satisfied with our experience with DuctWorks. We purchased the $77 "early bird" furnace tuneup and inspection "buy now" deal through Angie's List. DuctWorks contacted us within a couple days to schedule the tune-up. On the day of service, the technician, Brad, arrived right on schedule. It took him about 30 - 40 minutes to do the inspection and tune-up. He said everything looked good, which is what we expected since our furnace isn't very old and has worked perfectly so far. Brad was very professional and answered all my questions. We would definitely turn to DuctWorks for our other HVAC needs in the future.

Purchased a whole house humidifier with an angieslist coupon. Scheduling was easy, they were on time and the serviceman was friendly. The problem came a week or two later when we found that the installation was leaking and had stained our carpet and caused our flooring paint to bubble. They came back out and repaired it. During the second visit it became apparent that the worker had taken a shortcut (claimed he couldn't shut our water off but also never tried nor asked where the main was located). We contacted the office and they agreed to pay for a carpet cleaning. Great but we had to follow up several times to ensure payment. Carpet is fine, floor is still bubbled. They get great reviews and we're happy with the humidifier(was a deal) but iffy on whether we'd use them again.

I was extremely satisfied with their work. They did a good inspection and I had a problem with a capacitor that was leaking, he detected that and replaced it and so I've waited having the furnace more of a breakdown. He was courteous and friendly. There was some additional charge because there was a problem that needed replacement. They came when they said they would.

Overall I was pleased with the result. I had just moved into a new house and had been meaning to get a humidifier installed prior to the winter months. Angie's list deal showed up in my email and I liked the price $350.00 down from $500+ which other companies were charging. The Technician arrived and walked through the installation process. The only fly in the ointment was he did not have the proper tubing to connect the humidifier to my water supply. It was a new construction and plastic tubing. He only had copper tubing and fittings. However he recommended a plumber that his company used and proceeded with the install. It took a couple of hours to install. He provided an optional upgrade to have a automatic control with weather sensors placed outside the house for an additional $150.00. I declined, as I was happy with the manual control and that would have offset the Deal to competitor rates. He attempted to connect it to my thermostat which had a humidity display but as it turned out did not have the contacts for the cables. He discussed the operation and filter changes with model numbers and frequency and had the area all cleaned and ready for use upon his departure, well except for the final water supply connection. I had contacted the plumber who was in the area and finishing up a job. They were delayed on that job, but did arrive late that same night after a few phone calls and completed the hook up with apologies for the late hour. I was happy to have the job done. I would use this company again as they provided exactly what I needed.

We bought a whole house humidifier via A.L. and setup an appointment via email. The service person (Mike) was very knowledgable and helpful. He did a great job and explained all options with various potential upgrades. We opted to stick with just what we bought and not additional items. Upon finishing, he expained the operation and left us his card. Great service and great price.

We recently had a Bryant variable speed gas furnace and air source heat pump / AC unit installed. We interviewed 5 contractors and ended up choosing Duct Works due to the fairness in price and the excellent job done by the sales rep. The sales experience with Ductworks was very pleasant thanks to Jared. They didn't inflate their prices and offer "discounts" like many others. He gave a fair price from the beginning and explained all the pros, cons, and price implications on upgrades. He didn't pressure me one way or the other and provided opinions only when I asked for them. He answered my numerous questions, was very patient (it took 3 weeks to select a contractor), and always returned phone calls and E-mails promptly. His sales style is exactly what I was looking for; educate the consumer and allow them to make their own decisions on their own time. In the end, we narrowed it down to two contractors. The other contractor had an excellent idea on moving the compressor to the side of the house away from the deck where people gather. When I brought this to Jared's attention, he offered to do the same thing at no additional charge even though their price was already fair and they would have to sub out the additional electrical work. On the day of the install, the two installers introduced themselves politely and quickly got to work. When I got home later that day, the install was only about 3/4 done which was a little surprising. One of the installers had an emergency but called in a replacement. The other installer simply quit his job that morning unannounced. Instead of making excuses, they simply explained to me what happened and had two installers from another job in the area stop by that night to finish up. These two gentlemen were working all day and had family's waiting at home but they stayed until the job was complete. In addition, they were extremely professional, polite, and positive in spite of the whole ordeal. I wish I could remember their names to give them credit. At the end of the night, the installers naturally wanted to get home to their families and I couldn't blame them. They scheduled a service tech to come out later that week to do some final testing and give us a lesson on the new thermostat. The install was clean minus two holes cut in the drywall that were unavoidable since we didn't already have a run for the PVC venting. The house was clean and vacuumed before they left. All of the rebates were clearly explained and they gave us all of the paperwork, filled out with postage stamps. They even gave us an instant rebate on the Bryant portion (they mailed it in themselves and were reimbursed directly by Bryant so we didn't have to wait for the rebate check). At first, the system had a hard time maintaining a constant temperature. Now it's rock solid. Apparently the thermostat needed a couple of weeks to learn the house. The compressor is crazy quiet and the furnace is so quiet that you can hardly hear it run when standing right next to it. We did have a minor problem when our utility tried to load shed for the first time. The system stopped running during the curtailment period and the thermostat E-mailed us a warning about a communication loss to the outdoor unit. I called it in and they sent out a service tech. The low voltage wiring was installed incorrectly. The utility curtailment wiring is a little different when using a communicating thermostat (one that communicates data back and forth to the compressor versus just telling it to turn on or off). I was a disappointed since I put out the schematics for the wiring before I left and even provided a simplified version of the schematics to avoid this exact scenario (which is why I gave them a B in the quality rating). They did, however, quickly find and correct the mistake with no charge. We haven't had any issues since and, as I mentioned, the temperature is rock solid. We can also connect to the thermostat using our iPhones or a PC which is nice when you're on vacation and remember that you forgot to set back the temp. There was no extra equipment to implement this feature. All we had to do was enter the wireless router info into the thermostat and create a free online account with Bryant. Some of the competitors have extra equipment and monthly fees for this feature. Overall, I was impressed by how the employees of this company worked as a team and got the job done in spite of the unforeseen circumstances. Their pricing was clear, without gimmicks, and fair. I wouldn't hesitate to put this contractor on your short list for HVAC installs. Ask for Jared if you're in the sales stage. He's great to work with and knowledgable. I also like the fact that this is a locally-owned small business.
