Rick arrived on time with all of the necessary equipment. He completed the work within two hours. The iron filter works extremely well. Our water is very soft, and we only need to run the brine filter every 12 days. He used high quality components, his plumbing work was very thorough. We had used Rick in the past (1995). He had done great work then as well. He cleaned everything up and took away the old system. The price for the work was very reasonable. I'd recommend Taplin Water to all of our friends.

He came and took the old softener and put in a new one.

I called to info about a new softener and all my questions were completely answered. I called back the next day to order and was told the install could be the next day. The next morning he was on time and did a very professional install. Removed the old unit, cleaned the area completely and explained how to do the settings.

I did a fair amount of research prior to calling around for prices on the softener model I wanted (Fleck SXT control valve with approximately 30,000 grain tank). I received the lowest quote on the system from another company on Angie's List, but I wanted to give Rich a chance to match it as he had taken the time to drop off a flyer at our new home before closing. Rich not only matched the price but beat it by a fair amount as well! On the day of the install Rich was VERY professional and nice to deal with. The installation was expertly performed. I absolutely feel like we made the right choice by choosing Taplin Soft Water!

Rick arrived even a little earlier than the appointed time (that was good) and installed both in good time. He showed me how they operated and went over about salt useage, time regeneration and also the shut off of the reverse osmosis. Fast and efficient and the price quoted to me was what I was charged. After we discovered small red beads in our water, it was determined that our existing water softener was throwing off resin beads and we would need a new unit. After phoning several individuals, I felt that Rick was most responsive and informative. He was able to come out to our house early the next morning before going to his existing appointments. He arrived right on time, installed the unit quickly and efficiently, and was most informative about use. We would feel comfortable calling to ask follow up questions if we had any, and would definitely use him again.

Just as advertised. On time, work performed quickly and completely. Showed me how to operate the new softener and was on his way. Very good experience.

Rick was able to work around my schedule by coming to do testing at 7:30 am before I left for work. He was fast, efficient, and price was reasonable.

I called Rick, whose phone number must be tied into a mobile. He was able to diagnose my problem over the phone. Luckily, he was 10 minutes away and was able to squeeze me in between appointments. He had the parts in his truck. Once the bad control box was off the softener, he pointed out a valve that had a slow leak, soon to become a fast leak. He recommended replacing while it was accessible. The entire repair took 10-15 minutes. Since I'm new to softeners, he explained how they work, how to troubleshoot, and that "salt is salt" so I don't have to buy that expensive Morton's brand anymore. I put a "C" for price, because it seems fair and I have no frame of reference (I didn't call around for estimates; I just called Taplin because his sticker was on my unit).

I had previously used Rick to install two softeners in the past. Both were trouble-free for years. Rick was able to schedule a convenient appointment with me on the phone. He sold me exactly what I wanted and needed, no more, no less. He showed up on time and installed the unit in a timely manner.

THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT! I CALLED RICK FOR AN ESTIMATE. HE CAME OVER THE NEXT DAY AND GAVE A VERY COMPETITIVE QUOTE. I APPROVED THE WORK AND HE WAS ABLE TO PERFORM THE WORK THE SAME DAY. HE WORKED VERY QUICKLY AND THE WORK WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY. I HAVE USED TAPLIN FOR A PREVIOUS JOB AND WAS VERY SATISFIED THEN AS WELL.
