Chris was very responsive, punctual and professional, explaining everything along the way and coming back to finish one task that couldn't be completed that day.

Was very pleased with the work Chris and his colleague performed around the house. They talked through the problem until they found the solution and were very informative to us along the way. Both were extremely nice and made sure that we were satisfied with the needs we had, which we were. There's no doubt I would utilize their services in the future!

Chris was awesome! I needed an additional outlet in my unfinished basement so I could use my treadmill. Chris looked at my treadmill and determined a 20-amp circuit was needed, then asked what my plans were for finishing the basement. He suggested adding outlets on the wall where the insulation had been temporarily removed and another outlet on some interior framing so I could add outlets for a future bathroom when I was ready. He provided a reasonable estimate and we schedule time for the work. Chris and his assistant arrived on time, were professional and courteous, did a nice job and cleaned up afterwards. Chris then showed me the work and scheduled the inspector. Now I can use my treadmill, fan and TV and can get my insulation reinstalled.

I found both Chris and Eric very professional and friendly. I was having problems with my fire alarms going off intermittently. They came out, checked the fire alarms, and made suggestions. They gave me a reasonable estimate to replace them, which they did the same day. Whole process was complete in less than two hours. Next time I need work I'll certainly call in Primary Electric Inc.

Two man team. The owner Chris and an assistant. Discussed options for work, did assessment and provided a quote for their services. Worked a couple of hours, cleaned up, reviewed work with me and did not exceed estimate. Very professional, no nonsense, easy to work with.

I would definitely use Primary Electric again. He was on time, quick and efficient and fairly priced. It was a small job, but well done.

Excellent job. They were on time and completed all work in a few hours. They went above and beyond to correct prior installation of outdoor fixtures when vinyl siding was installed and made a fixture that was slightly too big for the area fit. Price was exactly the amount of estimate.

My neighbor and I were interested in having Standby Electrical Generators installed in each of our homes. We were seeking to get quotes from companies that supply, install and maintain these generators. On February 4th, my neighbor was to meet with this company and would show both our homes since I was not available. The gentleman from the company was there at the appointed time but my neighbor was 30 minutes late. However, they were in communication and was instructed to start the assessment since his in-laws were at home to allow access. When he arrived, the company representative had left. My neighbor later that week called the company to reschedule the assessment for February 16th. Unfortunately, I again was unavailable, but this time they did meet. My neighbor showed both our homes. The company called me to ask questions about what I was looking for and where I wanted the generator to be located. So they have my contact information but I have not received any further phone calls nor have I received a quote. In the meantime I did meet with a second company and received a quote immediately from them. I received calls from them twice a week asking if I had any more questions. Each time I told them I was waiting for one more quote. After a while, I decided to go with the company that seemed to want my business since I have not heard anything back from this company. I have no doubt this is an excellent company and I would consider them should I have another project. But they lost this potential business simply because they did not provide the quote I was waiting for.

Chris did a great job, everything went perfectly. Chris is professional and very personable. He actually came back and attached a line from the riser to the roof just to make sure it was really secure. Also, my neighbors needed some electrical work and they hired Chris and were very pleased with him and his work.

Went very well. Chris and Eric arrived when they they said and the work was completed in the time that they estimated. We felt the price was a little high, but we really felt good about the work completed and the manner in which it was completed. Chris and Eric were very professional and very personable during the job. Would not hesitate to call them again.

I contacted two electricians for an estimate on my request. Both were near the same estimate, but I liked the idea Chris proposed to handle what I needed. He put in an extra small electrical box in my home to handle the new, dedicated lines going to my studio/shop area - something I wouldn't have thought of at all. It took about a week to get a time scheduled, the job took one day (Chris and another man). They were neat, and cleaned up all the debris that was left behind.

We talked to three companies listed in Angie's List for generator installation. The first gave me a quote over the phone without seeing the property. - Lowest price The salesman for the second came out and looked at the interior and exterior locations, took a couple of photos, and sent a quote. - Middle price Chris Boettcher from Primary Electric came out, pointed out issues with code compliance in our preferred panel locations, worked through a few iterations of components, software, and hardware. We would have gone with him except that the noise level while running would exceed the Saint Paul noise limit. The city won't pre-clear, just reacts to complaints. We talked to the closest neighbor and offered to supply them with standby power from our generator, but they would not agree to the noise when the utility power was out. Chris is very professional and flexible.

Our electric panel was a big mess and had to be replaced. Chris emailed us an estimate, setup a date for when he would show up, but also told us that he might have to cancel if it was below zero that day as quite a lot of the work would have to be done outside. As it happened, the day of the appointment was below zero. He did make sure to call a few days ahead to reschedule. Because of the uncooperative weather he had to breakup the work over the period of two days and that was fine with us. He was very polite and accommodating throughout the process. He kept the work area clean and did not drag snow and slush inside the house. After his work was done, he scheduled an inspection for the panel. We now have a new electric panel with some new unused spots for the future. Thanks Chris!

He was very professional and thorough. His price was not the cheapest, but he made a good impression on us when he came and gave us the estimate. He had one other worker with him and they showed up on time for the estimate as well as for the work. When he was finished with the work, he walked me through and showed me everything they had done and explained different things about the work.

Chris was recommended to me by London Point Remodeling. I needed to have an outlet immediately above the cooktop in my 1950's house moved. I did not need this outlet and it posed safety concerns. Chris disabled the outlet and moved the box to the outside surface of the kitchen wall. This met the code requirement of keeping the box accessible (it's in the garage) but out of the way of cooking activities. He also created a new outlet in the cabinet above my cooktop using a conduit that once powered an old broken kitchen ventilation hood. This nonfunctional hood was so old it that it had to be custom fitted back in the fifties when the house was built. The vent that connected the old range hood to the roof was not in the center of the cabinet. Chris made sure the new box did not interfere with the space needed for the new venting that will now be installed in the center of the cabinet. When he was finished working on the outlets, he wired the new cooktop to the power source and mounted a new box in the cupboard underneath the cooktop. Everything was done efficiently and neatly. Chris was always on time. He was extremely thoughtful about informing me on his schedule. He would call before he came to an appointment to assure me that he would be at the worksite. At each step in the process of making repairs he explained what needed to be done and how he would handle the process, always checking to see if I agreed to his proposals. He was sensitive to the fact that he was working in someone's home, so he took off his boots and cleaned up when he was done working. He worked steadily and got things done quickly. He was very polite and pleasant and I would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done in their home.

Chris was prompt and courteous. He addressed the concerns I had and answered my specific questions. Based on his visits to my house I would not hesitate to recommend his service to others.

The whole process went extremely well. Chris arrived promptly in the morning and immediately got to work. They ran into a blockage when running the cable for the microwave circuit but immediately came up with alternatives and got it taken care of. Everything was completed to our satisfaction. They also did a very nice job of cleaning up. I would definitely use them again if I need additional electrical work performed.

They were very profession. We received a confirmation call the day ahead. They were punctual. I was pleased at how thorough they were and how everything they did was explained and done in a timely manner. I will definitely use them again.

The work was "new" contruction that was never finished. We added a bathroom and an office in that area. Chris and Nick came in and listened to the plan, made some suggestions, which were very good. They also helped with the permits and provided some good advise. They did exactly what they said I would definitely use them again.they would and did it very efficiently. I will defitely use them again.

The owner of the company Chris, provided fantastic service from the initial estimate to the actual date the work was performed. He showed up at all appointments right on time and his follow through on addressing issues was spot on. The price for the work performed was very competitive with other bids. Upon completion the work area was thoroughly cleaned up and overall the process was handled in a very professional manner. The city permit inspection arranged by Chris was completed without issue. I would highly recommend Primary Electric for any electrical needs.
