Response from PRIMARY ELECTRIC INC
I am sorry to see that you were dissatisfied with our service. At Primary Electric, Inc., we take great pride in providing top quality workmanship and fair, up-front pricing on every project we complete, a practice we continue to maintain since our founding in 2006. After this Customer contacted Primary Electric on 08/29/2015, we arranged a no-cost, no-obligation on-site visit on 09/02/2015 to discuss project details, review our up-front estimate and review the project timeframe. This Customer was looking to add an additional 20 amp circuit and GFCI receptacle in the utility room for a water softener at a rental property in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. During our visit, the Customer agreed to our up-front estimate of $550, and we mutually agreed to a scheduled service date of 09/10/2015 for all work to be performed. We believe in being as up-front as possible with our potential customers so that there are no surprises, just satisfaction in our project outcomes. During our initial discussion and on-site consultation, no special offer details were presented by this customer. At the customer’s request and convenience, we accommodated her rapidly changing schedule as a local real estate agent, by rescheduling this appointment 4 times before our service work was performed. We were able to perform this service work on September 17, 2015 as scheduled and in full. The Customer thanked us for our work, and noted her satisfaction with our flexibility and service. Again at this time, the Customer did not mention the Angie's List offer mentioned in this review, a company-specific offer that we do not participate in. We presented our final invoice for this completed project, which did not exceed our project estimate. Our standard payment terms are typically due upon receipt when our service work is completed in full. After 45 days of an open invoice, we contacted this Customer with a courtesy call for a payment reminder. At this time, the Customer mentioned that she would like to use an Angie's List coupon of $250 for 2 hours of labor (mentioned in review), a special Angie’s List offer we have not chosen to participate in throughout all of the 9 years we have been in business. Offers such as this are typically listed as "Big Deals", managed by Angie's List, and paid in advance on the Angie's List website by Customers. In order to seek better understanding and resolution of this misunderstanding, we asked this Customer to produce documentation of this offer through Angie’s List. If this was our error or an error on Angie’s List’s part, we would have honored this significant discount. However, we were unable to receive any confirming documentation from this customer or Angie’s List in our own follow-up investigation. As a consolation for this misunderstanding, we offered and honored an additional $30 discount off of this Customer's invoice (much more than the $5 mentioned in the review). We also continued to follow up with Angie's List to see if perhaps some error had occurred in the Angie's List system. After reviewing with Angie’s List personnel, no system error was identified. We are sorry that we were not able to honor this Customer's request for a significant discount 45 days after successful completion of this project. Thank you for choosing Primary Electric for your electrical needs. Best regards, Chris Primary Electric, Inc. ph. 763-213-6262
