I bought an Angie's List deal for $499 for a ceramic tile backsplash installed. I had interpreted the deal to include demolition, but the provider was surprised to find an existing backsplash upon his arrival. After some conversation and negotiation, he agreed to do the demolition the same day and would stay late to finish the job. I believe the deal did not include demolition, but also think a professional should cover this on phone calls prior to the installation date or have an in-person estimate to avoid any confusion on specifics like this demolition. In fact, I would suggest the provider give a detailed estimate on each job rather than just have a few brief discussions on project cost and then leave ambiguity to cause problems later. He immediately went to work and was finished with the entire job by about 630pm. He was wonderful to work with, involved me in the decisions at the right place and time throughout the installation, and it was obvious he takes pride in his work. He did a great job cleaning up and making sure we were satisfied before he left. He was so personable we invited him to join us for dinner since he had agreed to work late to finish the job in one day. I would definitely recommend him for any job. I also recommend insisting on a written estimate and an in-person estimate before proceeding with a job, as should be the case with any contractor. I would definitely have him back to more work when and if we have a need and I am happy to recommend him to friends and family.

Wife and I were looking to complete the look of our kitchen and contacted several tile companies. North Point Services Company responded promptly, provided a free estimate and took the additional time to explain the various options and types of installations. They worked very hard to complete the job and were able to get it done in a half days time. The backsplash turned out well beyond our expectations and could tell that no details were left behind. What I liked best about this company other than them doing a job that went well beyond what my wife and I ever expected; was the fact that they took the time to share and go over the pros and cons and the various ways the install could be done. Unlike their “competitors” who spent very little time explaining anything, the approach here from start to finish was top notch. Glad to have Angie's list help guide through the process as clearly this Company understands what it means to putting the customer first.

Arrived at 8:00 AM, was told that we needed to go and pick out our tile at Menards, because they were the only supplier of a special adhesive that he recommended so he could complete the job in one day. He also told us that the tile we picked was not the tile listed in Angie's list contract, that we would have to pay for the tile and adhesive. This cost us about $250.00 above the initial $499.00 Angie's list contract. I am a little concerned about the tactics of this contractor, so I would proceed with caution if youplan on contracting with firm.

They did a very good job of installing tile.

Professional and efficient!!!! I am very satisfied with the completion of the project. The tile looks great, my husband and I will definitely use North Point to do our kitchen backsplash.

He showed up promptly at the appointed time. We went to 6 diffrent places until I found the tile and accents that I liked. Not once did he show any impatience and assured me that this would be my walls for a very long time so I was justified to take my time and find something I really liked. Once purchased we got back and he got right to work. The job done in a couple of hours. I couldn't be happier with the finished product! He did a awesome job and it looks beautiful. I'm calling him next week for another project I have in mind.

Being new to Angie's list I didn't realize I needed to review the company to ensure their services matched up to the ad. I will likely purchase another deal for this work, but currently would just like the refund. Thank you.

Alex did a great job. He was on time and very professional. He showed up, helped us figure out what supplies were needed (for instance we had the wrong grout for a shower project), came with us to get supplies and then got to work. He worked quickly and the deal, which was 299 for 8 hours work cost exactly that. What a bargain. I would hire him at full price any time and strongly recommend his work. The finished product of tiled bathroom walls is finally done and looks great.

Val and his crew did a great job on tiling the bathroom floors and shower. I would recommended his company.

We had called him to do a bathroom remodel and see if we could hire him for futher remodelling . But the bathroom remodelling wasnt possible in our time frame. But we had a few other projects we wanted to do and he completed what he could within the day. He is a meticulous worker and did a perfect job not the fastest worker but would definitely recommend him. We will be calling him for future projects again.

The whole experience was fantastic! Aleksey is totally committed to perfection in his work. He was very conscientious of making sure that everything was done exactly as I wanted. In addition to the tile being installed perfectly, everyone I worked with was very friendly. I did some shopping around to compare prices and I was pleased to find out that North Point Services prices are competitive. Doing home renovations can be stressful but there was no stress when it came to our tile. Overall I would highly recommend using North Point Services.

These guys did a beautiful job giving us the bathroom we've always wanted and did it at a very fair price and did it without cutting corners or compromising quality. They kept good communication and clarified when necessary to make sure they were giving us what we wanted. I could tell they have done a lot of work, to think through and ask some of the questions they had for us. Treated our house as though it were their own. I have and will continue to recommend North Point to friends and family for their tiling needs.

Needed a lot of tile work done. Entryway, kitchen area and the downstairs shower. Gave me a great bid price so I went along with them. I have to admit, the completed job looks outstanding from start to finish. Quick turnaround and excellent clean-up job! Great communication! A+++
