Description of Work: Had a brake job, timing belt, fluid flush and general maintenance performed. Jeff and company are always very friendly and do a great job of communicating. Prices seem to be inline with estimates for services elsewhere and I'm very happy with the service.

Description of Work: Replaced serpentine belt and plugs, changed the oil, checked the breaks, replaced the heater/AC blower and a few other things. A different shop said I needed a rear break job for $500. Jeff's inspected the breaks and said they were in good shape. I respect their integrity.

HAD JEFF NOT BEEN SENSITIVE TO MY NEEDS, MY SITUATION WOULD HAVE BEEN WORSENED BY MY OWN ''DOWN TIME''. I regularly go to Jeff's Auto as they are very reliable and can generally fit me into their schedule. He is very personable, reliable, and seems to enjoy his profession.

+ -1 moreTHE MECHANIC WAS VERY TIMELY AND CONSCIENTIOUS. HE WAS ABLE TO EASILY FIX THE PROBLEM. THE REASON FOR THE POOR SCORE ON THE PRICING IS THAT I ASKED FOR AN ESTIMATE TO FIX THE REAR BRAKES ON MY CAR. I HAD ALREADY PURCHASED THE BRAKE PADS AS I WAS PLANNING TO DO THEM MYSELF. THE ESTIMATE TO INSTALL THE PADS I HAD PURCHASED AND FLUSH THE BRAKE FLUID WAS $200. THEY ARE HONEST. THEY DID SAY I DID NOT NEED NEW ROTORS WHICH I HAD ORIGINALLY THOUGHT NEEDED REPLACING. I DECIDED NOT TO HAVE THEM DO THE BRAKE WORK BASED ON PRICE.
Description of Work: I HAD BROKEN A BOLT ON THE CALIPER OF MY CAR. THEY WERE ABLE TO DRILL OUT THE REMAINING PIECE AND PUT IN A NEW BOLT.

I HAD OTHER THINGS DONE DURING THE INSPECTION, SO DON'T BE MISLED BY THE $100 PRICE TAG FROM THIS CRITIQUE. JEFF & LEEANN ARE VERY UNDERSTANDING. I WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE JEFF'S AUTO SERVICE DO ALL OF MY AUTO SERVICING. VERY HONEST PEOPLE. IN WORLDLY STANDARDS, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, BUT ''HONORABLE'' IS THE WORD THAT REMINDS ME OF JEFF.
Description of Work: KIRT GAVE MY WORK VEHICLE (A 1990 RANGER) A 'BUMPER-TO-BUMPER' INSPECTION AND FOUND THAT MY FRONT BRAKES PADS WERE IN DIRE NEED OF REPLACEMENT. HE WENT 'ABOVE & BEYOND' BY FILLING ME IN ON SPECIFICS OF MY VEHICLE, SPENDING VALUABLE TIME AWAY FROM OTHER TASKS.

JEFF WAS SURPRISINGLY THOROUGH AND WAS ABLE TO ARTICULATE ISSUES IN LAYMEN'S TERMS. BEING IN BUSINESS FOR MYSELF, I APPRECIATE HIS APPROACH. I TRUST JEFF'S WORK. 30 YRS IN BUSINESS SAYS A LOT. BEING IN BUSINESS FOR MYSELF, I KNOW THAT IF YOU 'PUNCH-THE-CLOCK', YOU ARE 'CLUELESS' UNLESS YOU OR A LOVED ONE IS NOW OR HAS BEEN SELF-EMPLOYED. JEFF HAS PURGED THE 'BUGS' OUT OF HIS OPERATION. HE'LL DO THE SAME THING WITH YOUR VEHICLE. I REFER MY OWN CUSTOMERS TO JEFF'S AUTO SERVICE AND HAVE NO OTHER REASON THAN TO SEE ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL EXCEL.
Description of Work: SEVERAL THINGS WERE WRONG WITH 2 SEPARATE VEHICLES I OWN. THERE WAS UNDERSTANDING AT ALMOST EVERY STEP OF THE REPAIR WORK. I WILL CONTINUE TO DO WORK WITH JEFF. THEY DON'T HAVE A LEISURIOUS WAITING AREA WITH A TV AND SUCH AS OTHER AUTO REPAIR BUSINESSES DO, BUT IT IS CLEAN AND I WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE JEFF DO THIS WORK. HE OWNS A RACE CAR AND SEEMS TO LIVE AND BREATH HIS OCCUPATION AND ALL AROUND NATURALLY 'GIVES-A-RIP'. TV'S DON'T CARE IF SOMETHING IS TORQUED TO THE RIGHT SPEC. ALSO, THEY WORK WITH A LOCAL COFFEE SHOP JUST DOWN MAIN STREET WHERE YOU CAN RELAX WHILE YOU WAIT FOR SERVICE BEING DONE.
