Then I get the invoice! Aye carumba! $1486 for 183 square feet of cleanup?!? FEMA estimates that it should cost about $1.12/sq ft. They charged over $8.00/sq ft.! They charged over $100 for an emergency service call! Their air movers cost $25/day (you can rent one for $2/day)! They charged 8 hours of DRIVE TIME from Burnsville to Chaska! DON'T SIGN THEIR CONTRACT WITHOUT AN ESTIMATE! The Limited Power of Attorney clause is how they circumvent the owner (you) and get exorbitant amounts approved via the insurance adjusters. When I asked questions and detailed my concerns about over-billing, and about how the numbers on the invoice didn't add up... I was told that they used Exactimate software and that the invoice was "non-negotiable." They did take off the emergency service call charge, though. I guess $39/hour drive time is a standard charge in the industry... I learned a valuable lesson today. Hope you can benefit from our poor experience.

This company provided top notch service from the moment I made contact with them! They arrived promptly within hours of my call and performed their work quickly and thoroughly. They were familiar with my insurance company and knew what items to save for the insurance adjuster to examine, and what could be disposed of right away. My insurance adjuster was also pleased with their work and the documentation they provided for the adjuster's use. God forbid, but should I need the services of a company like this again, I would call these guys in a heartbeat.

I HAVE NO RESERVATIONS ABOUT THEM. THEY TRIED TO KEEP THE COST DOWN. WE DIDN'T KNOW HOW ROTTEN THE ROOF WAS UNTIL THEY DUG INTO IT. TERRIFIC CLEAN UP AND THEY SPARED MY LANDSCAPING.

DAN CALLED AND AGREED TO PUT A HOLD ON CONTINUING THE WORK. I SPOKE TO MY HUSBAND AND HE RECOMMENDED THAT WE GO OUT AND SPEAK WITH DAN TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH WORK HAD BEEN DONE. I WENT OUT WITH MY CHILDREN TO SEE THE WORK AND FOUND THAT THERE WERE PANELS CUT. HE HAD PREVIOUSLY ASKED ME WHAT KIND OF WOOD WE HAD; HE DETERMINED THAT OUR CABINETS WERE MADE OF "ALCOR." WHEN I LEFT I TOLD HIM I FELT WE COULD DO A BETTER JOB PRICE WISE. I TOLD MY INSURANCE CLAIMS ADJUSTER ABOUT THE CHANGES WE HAD DECIDED ON. HE AGREED. I STARTED SHOPPING FOR NEW CABINETS, AND FOUND SOME WITHIN THE BALLPARK OF APPROVED AMOUNT BY INSURANCE CLAIMS ADJUSTER. HE ENDS UP SENDING ME A BILL BUT CHARGED ME $1,595 ADITIONAL FOR CANCELING. I SENT HIM A CERTIFIED LETTER AND THE PROJECT MANAGER RESPONDED BACK CLAIMING THAT THE CANCELLATION FEE WAS DUE. I REQUESTED MY OLD CABINETS TO BE RETURNED. THEY INSULATED THE ATTIC BRINGING IT UP TO CODE AND SPRINKLED SOME DEODERIZING PELLETS FOR THE SMELL OF THE FIRE.
