C&J sealcoating

Scottie worked with me to schedule a date that worked best for me. He arrived on time on the scheduled date and complete the work in an hour. He did an excellent job! The work site was clean with no sign of sealer residue on any of the surrounding landscape. I would use C&J Sealcoating again and recommend him to friends.

The price was good, they responded by email quickly. The sealed the driveway on time. The work was good and i would use them again.

It went very well and he was very responsive. The driveway looked great when the job was complete. Only thing that could be better is collecting payment. He does not want credit cards, but he does want payment within 7 days. I was preparing to sell my house. It would have been fast and easy to pay via credit card the day of the service. But, I had to write a check, mail a check, etc. I did not get it to him within 7 days and he was following up for payment. It was frustrating since it would not have been an issue if credit cards were accepted and I had other priorities at the moment of prepping my house for sale. Otherwise, the job was well done!

It was perfect and looks wonderful!! Scott responded right away to my request for info. He provided a time frame that worked, let me know when he would be in my area, arrived on time!! He did a meticulous job, and I'm very impressed with how neat everything was left. I will DEFINITELY use Scott again, and will recommend him when asked. Thanks for a nice job!

The experience was excellent. Scottie was very responsive and friendly. He gave us an estimate quickly even though he lives across the cities from us. He accommodated our schedule and arrived promptly. He did a thorough job prepping the driveway and really worked hard to do a great job. The driveway looks outstanding. My experience with Scottie is one of the benefits I was hoping for by signing up for Angie's list. I never would have found him without it. The reviews are spot on. I could have had my driveway sealcoated cheaper, but I trusted the reviews and by selecting CJ Sealcoating I got an excellent result with top-notch materials at a reasonable price by a nice guy.

Perfect. He showed up and provided an estimate in a very timely manner. Corresponded quickly to my emails and phone calls. From initial contact to work being done was less than a week. When the work was done, Scott followed up with an email stating what he did and comments on condition or possible future work I may need to my driveway. I usually use ?Jet Black?, but do not get the personal service I received from C&J. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Scott Jermstad was a pleasure to work with from our first contact with him through completion of the job. And the newly sealcoated driveway looks terrific. He is very knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, and prompt. He did a very meticulous job preparing the driveway before he applied the sealcoat and was very careful to keep the material off surrounding surfaces---sidewalk, garage apron, and side of the house.

Called to get a quote from Scotty. He returned my phone call, and within an hour was at my house to give a quote (on a Friday!) He was very courteous, and provided excellent customer service. The communication with him was second to none, and my feelings were that I was dealing with a long lost friend. The job that he performed on our damaged driveway was incredible. He is a stand up individual, who takes pride with what he does! I would not hesitate to use him again, and would encourage others to use his expertise to get a nice looking driveway! In April came home and found an advertisement and estimate from C & J for sealcoating our driveway. It's something I'd been thinking of doing and for the size of our driveway the cost seemed reasonable. I decided to look them up on Angie's list and was pleasantly surprised to find they had excellent ratings. I also noticed that he offered 10 % off. I called Scotty and he explained that the over night temp should be in the 50's and he would call me to set up something for May. He also assured me that the 10% off would apply. Scott called in early May to explain weather wasn't cooperating and I said I was in no hurry. He called a week later and we set a date in June. He arrived asked if I had any questions then went to work. He edged the driveway better than it had been edged in years, cleaned everything up, sealed all the cracks, then coated the driveway. It looks excellent and we are very pleased. We will definitely be using Scott again in a few years.

I left a message on Sunday to inquire about sealcoating or repairing my asphalt driveway. Scottie called me back within an hour, and based on our discussion and my description of the condition of the driveway, he recommended replacing the driveway rather than trying to sealcoat it. He does not provide replacement services, but took the time to provide me with the contact information of two other companies who may be able to help me. Wonderful customer service!

Scott came out and did a great job. He was professional and kept us in the loop with changing plans due to our crazy spring weather. he seal-coated a couple of my neighbor''s driveways as well and they were also very pleased. i would use again. much better than the larger seal-coating chains that I have used in the past.

I emailed C&J Sealcoating in March asking for a bid to sealcoat our driveway. I chose this company because of the great reviews on here. Scottie, the owner, was prompt in getting back to me and gave me a great bid. He answered all of my questions and was very knowledgable. It was too cold yet, so he would contact me when it was time. Later in April, I got an email asking what time would be convenient. Scottie came out last week and sealcoated the driveway. He did an excellent job at cleaning/prepping the surface, and edging the grass. The sealcoating is really nice and black now, and looks great! We are very satisfied in the job he performed and how it turned out! We recommend C&J Sealcoating to everyone!

I got Scott's name from a neighbor who highly recommended him. I would also recommend Scott to any friend or neighbor. The first time I called him last fall I was having the roof replaced so driveway was in use longer than I anticipated. I asked him to call back in the spring. He called back in Spring we rescheduled he was prompt and courteous. Scott's work is great the driveway looks super and the edging is a nice touch. Most of all we have experienced every kind of weather since he was here and it looks great!

It was a real pleasure to do business with Scott Jermstad. Everything was great, from initial contact, to the meet in person for the proposal, follow-up for scheduling even though I was very flexible on when, quality of product & labor of work performed, and fair price. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I should have done this earlier in the summer and with the cooperation of the weather, Mr. Jermstad was able to get the job done in early October. I had received an impressive mailer earlier this summer from a sealcoating company that has franchise owners. I called and emailed and never got a response. I then contacted the franchise headquarters and received a return call by a different franchise operator; he explained that the mail drop was done outside the other operator's territory (and in his). This was not the second owner's fault, but it concerned me that the first owner didn't respond and support the other one in order to preserve the brand name reputation. I am very glad I found local owner C&J Sealcoating on Angie's list instead and give my highest recommendation!

Scottie came out and gave me a bid when he said he would. I said yes. He came back on the date we agreed, at the time we agreed, did the work. I paid him. It's a good job and I would use him again.

Scottie, the tech, was very friendly and easily to work &communicate with. He did an outstanding job of seal coating my driveway! I will definitely use him again.

Scott did a terrific job from start to finish. He came out to provide an estimate the day after I contacted him via his website. He was able to do the work on the specific day we wanted due to our vacation scheduling. They arrived on time to do the work. They did a terrific job. We look forward to using them again in the future.

Scottie promptly came out 1 day after I called to give me a quote. He told me that I really needed to replace my driveway and that he did not want to take my money. He said "that's not what I'm about". I agreed but wanted to see if I could get an expert opinion. It's refreshing to see contractors with integrity and honesty. I can't comment on his work but I would hire him based on character.

The whole process wnet very well, I called for an estimate and Scott provided it to me the same day. I called to schedule and had to leave a message, Scott called me back within a few hours. Scott said he would call me the night before he would be able to come out to complete the job and that is exactly what he did. They seal coated the driveway and it looks great.

They did a good job of trimming the edges and blew the driveway clean with power blowers. Then they covered the driveway with a sealer. They did a very good job. My driveway looks better than the others in the neighborhood who just had theirs done. I will definitely call C&J again in a couple of years, or whenever I need it done again. They did a great job, were very pleasant, on time, and very professional.

He was very prompt in responding to all my messages on Angie's list, provided an estimate within a couple days, and did the driveway a few days later. It looks very good. He was very neat and careful.

The job was complete upon returning home from work. Was flexible with timing and did a good job.
