price is very high

It was a bit hard to determine the price per job - I had several things done.

Outrageous prices; pushy, wanting to do more than needed at huge price. $119 to replace a defective light bulb! Left me without lights in the basement. I wouldn't let them in my home again.

The two technicians were very thorough and knowledgeable and explained the whole process and options before doing any work. The work was completed efficiently. My only criticism would be the price seemed a bit high for one outdoor outlet but we agreed to it

We had an issue with the outlets in the common area upstairs constantly tripping the breaker. They were able to identify the problem and fix it, but wouldn't guarantee their work unless we paid for every outlet to be rewired by Boy's, when the electrician admitted that only one out of five outlets was even remotely in need of a rewiring. And they were very pricey compared to others who couldn't come out for a few days. I definitely paid more to have them come out that day. I don't care for places that take advantage of your more urgent need and also don't guarantee their work . To me, there's something shady about that.

The electrician was personable and skilled at finding the source of the issue. I would recommend them without hessitation.

All I wanted was an outside junction box checked for moisture & safety. The electrician checked that to my satisfaction. However, when he first arrived, he went into this spiel about ratings from various organizations, saying he would do a whole house safety check, etc. All I wanted was for him to do the job I asked for & not be intrusive. He did show me his license & insurance information which I appreciated. I think the service was expensive for what he did, but they were able to come the same day and I liked that.

They go through a high pressure sales pitch and start out with a normal price and and then charge more, was a deffinate ripoff.

I agreed to the cost then after he cut the pipes he asked for $200 in cash ro finish the job.

They come on time, do very good work but after I reviewed other companies they were double and triple the price of some more standard places. They charge by the job but troubleshooting is extra. 3 fire detectors & door bell $1000.00?

Was overall pleased with the service. There was just 2 items that I was not overall satisfied with : I was told that my outdoor motion light attached to my detached garage would have an indoor Pico switch -at no extra charge, after installation was told that it would not have one. Also was made to believe that the wire used by Xcel to monitor my meter would not be needed and in the Techs words "will be gone". After installation was then told that Xcel may or may not remove it.

I had a electrical fire at a plug and called they were very responses over the phone and sent someone out with in two hours of the call. Jeff who came out was very professional and nice. He did a through inspection and gave me a proposal of what needed to be done. He also gave me a few options of minimally what should be done and what totally should be done. Before he left he made sure every was back in place. all switch coverings back on etc.

Chris arrived on time and did the work quickly.

I was very happy with Boy's. The tech was very thorough in his explanation of what needed to be done. It cost a little more than anticipated only due to the age of the house and the type of box that was getting hooked up to the fan so there were additional costs for parts. All of this was told to me before the work was done. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them.

I had no problems with the individual. I had major problems with the level and step approach for billing. It in my opinion is over priced. I would be hard for me to recommend the company because of this method of pricing work. I had no problems with the worker himself.

Exceeded my expectations. Service provider was thorough and explained what was done and what should be done at a future time. I will definitely use this service again when needed.

First, the Boy's electrician went to the wrong address. When he (and his apprentice) finally showed up, the master electrician provided one-fee multi-tier cost estimate. I picked the $375 diagnostic/fix option to resolve my electrical issue with my two light fixtures. After an hour's worth of work, they said it would be much more to fix some additional underlying problems. Before writing up an estimate, the master electrician left early due to a home emergency (he said his wife required him to be home now). He left the apprentice there to clean up. Later that evening, he called and provided a verbal estimate of $13,000! He then asked for a credit-card for the previous work. I was charged $460 with no written estimate (he never did email me or send me a quote of what exactly I would get for $13,000). Needless to say, we didn't go with Boy's. I couldn't believe how unprofessional Boy's Electric LLC was.
