She brought one other person with her and both of them worked fast and efficiently. I had 5 years worth of paperwork and records to sort through. In addition, we have a new cottage we've been renovating for a couple of years and had lots of paperwork of it's own, like new furniture, appliances, building contracts, utility bills, etc. I felt this needed to be seperate from our main home and Theresa set up a very simple system to use.
I decided to go ahead and let them organize our garage as well. We'd just moved in a few months back and had random thinks from the move thrown into the garage. When Simplify It started we had room for 1 car in a 3 car garage. She called in more help and 1 man with a ton of muscle. In a few hours, they had the garage completely organized! They happily moved whatever I needed from the garage into the basement (in its proper place) and we threw away or donated whatever else needed to go.
We worked together 4 or 5 times in a two week span; by the time it was all over, they felt like family. I had my 2 year old home with me every day and they loved and entertained him when there were things they needed me to go through before we could move on. I can't speak highly enough about Theresa and her team. To be honest, when it was all over, I missed them. Although I'm a very busy working mother of two under 5, Theresa created a method and a way for me to stay organized and on top of (most) everything. I felt great when they left and have been following the rules I was given. Having a clutter free home makes all the difference in the world.
Theresa literally 'simplified it' for me! I know I will have her back in the future...I have my husbands home office (an entirely different kind of monster) that needs her help. My friends are AMAZED at how great of a job she did. I can't speak highly enough about Theresa, her crew, and the job she did.
If you find yourself overwhelmed with the thought of bills, paperwork, a closet full of random things you have no idea what to do with but know you need them, or any part of your home for that matter, call her! It was money very well spent.
