Very disappointing experience other than the water heater works so far. Costco subcontracts so there is little support from them. Delta Mech. Is horrible to work with starting with arguments with the installer, to trying to get paper work resolved, rebates, warranties, just answering their phones. Just chose another company.

Delta Mechanical was the contracted company that provided water heater installation through the Home Depot...I set up an appointment for a new water heater at my rental property, and they handled everything on their own. They are strictly by the book, so they make sure that everything is installed to code, and that their work is approved by a local inspector. Because of this, I found it odd that the installation failed inspection on the first go around, due to something trivial having to do with the number of screws used to secure an exhaust pipe or something like that. Nevertheless, Delta returned promptly to fix it and now all is well. They whole process ended up costing more and taking longer than I would have liked, but overall I was satisfied with the experience.

I ordered a new countertop and sink from Home Depot. Two days afterward, an employee of Delta called to explain what would happen before and after the countertop installation. I was instructed when to call them and was very glad to have the advanced information. When I called to schedule an appointment for the work to be done, the employee at Delta was extremely eager to make sure that the work would be done at a convenient time for me. On both occasions, the serviceman arrived before the scheduled time, with a call beforehand for permission. The first visit he removed the faucet and sink. When the countertop was installed, the serviceman came the next day and installed my new sink and faucet. The serviceman was very courteous and answered any questions I had. The office staff and serviceman were very professional and it was a pleasure doing business with Delta Mechanical. I highly recommend them.

The installer arrived when I was told he would be there. He covered the carpet in the family room from the door to the basement door. He explained why there would be an extra charge to bring the job up to code. He did his work quickly and we had hot water again that evening.
