Salesman, Brian, showed up on time and we agreed that I needed insulation in the attic as the last time I had had it done was approximately 25 years ago. He found that open areas had not been covered the previous time and the prior insulation had settled a great deal. I accepted his offer and was able to arrange for an insulation date within a week. Ethan and Phil arrived on time and immediately set to work. The process took about four hours and I could feel a difference as they were working. They covered everything in the room they were working and cleaned up after finishing. Ethan did point out a few other areas in the house that could be caulked to cut down on heat loss. He even caulked around a window in the bedroom they were using. This experience was the best I have encountered using people on Angie's List.

We haven’t scheduled the recommended work, not because we don’t trust the company just because we didn’t have the budget for that big of a project right now. They quoted $3525.00 for the project but with an Angie’s List 15% off coupon and rebates from the gas company we were eligible for $1082.00 in savings, bringing our total cost down to $2443.00.

Tony-Technical representative visited my home to do an inspection. He identified that the Insulation in Attic is Adequate. However he identified that New sofits are to opened and existing sofit Vents in Attic are to cleaned and gave an estimate to this extent. As the Coupon was for Attic Insulation, Blanket Insulation did NOT Honor the coupon while performing the New sofits installation and advised me to get a refund from Angie's list.

Blanket Insulation representative inspected my attic, took measurements and explained the insulation process. He was very knowledgeable and I will most definitely use them to do the work. Currently I plan on budgeting the cost into my budget so that I can get the work done.

Estimator was prompt and provided competitive price and timely delivery with detail on work to be done. Crew showed up on time was very professional and personable and tidy. Work was done efficiently and in the time frame that was given. I recommend them.

The representative was on time and performed a professional looking investigation to provide an estimate. We wanted to higher however another vendor provided a more thorough review and discussion pertaining to the needs of our home and the estimate for the work perform was $400.00 lower.

Wow!!! The Service Was Fantastic.. From The Initial Consult With Brian Who Did A Thorough Job Finding Issues That Were Not Quoted By Two Other Inspections. Brian Also Inspected And Quoted On Two Other Issues I Was Concerned With In My Basement, And Advised Me On Some Info. On Asbestos Floor Tiles And Ceiling Tiles In My Basement. As A Single Woman With No Experience With Contractors, Brian's Patience And Explanations Of The Repairs Needed Were Educational And Welcomed. Ethan And Randall Completed All Repairs And Kept Me Informed Every Step Of The Way. They Were Very Friendly And I Enjoyed The 4 Hours They Were Here. They Went Above And Beyond Cleaning Up After Themselves And Left No Trace Of Any Work Performed That Day. I Am So Pleased With The Customer Service Rep. Erin Who Called To Inform Me Of The Arrival Time And Her Pleasantness. This Is A Great Business!!! I Recommend Blanket Insulation Only To Those Who Believe "You Get What You Pay For":)

Workers arrived promptly and were very professional and pleasant. The work performed was blowing insulation into our attic and installing a pull-up cover for our ceiling attic fan. They took great care to protect our floors, corners and carpets where their equipment was needed to complete the job. They were very careful and respectful of our home and upon completion of the job cleaned and vacuumed everywhere they had done work. We highly recommend this company.

With the tight spaces in the attics and the difficulties these presented, I feel the installation crew met the challenge with a final product that I'm very happy with.

The crew arrived on time, described exactly what was going to be done, covered the floor and furniture and completed the job. They thoroughly cleaned before they left leaving the house cleaner than before they started. There was a problem with the mixture of the spray foam insulation used on the joists and our rep Greg quickly arranged to have another team come and correct the problem. Greg found numerous energy rebates and was able to apply them to the job to reduce my cost.

The process could not have went any easier. The representative showed up on time and gave me a well detailed estimate that was priced right also. The installers showed up on time and did a fantastic job. They exceeded my expectations and I would refer them to everyone. A+ in my book of companies I would recommend doing business with.

Service person was on time and polite. We concurred that this Big Deal was not my expectation.

Salesman was not pushy, on time arrival, answered all questions. Office was a pleasure to deal with in arranging appointment and providing an additional receipt with more info for DTE rebate. Crew arrived promptly and were very careful while working. Very pleasant. I feel they did an excellent job and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I got a call from their office, stating they would be about 15 minutes late. This is a vary rare quality for a service firm and I was very impressed with the call. Then I got another call apologizing but stating they would be another 15 minutes late. This speaks to the integrity of the company that they value the customer's time and their desire to be punctual. They got to the job ten minutes later. This was the hottest day in September. The temperature in my home was 85 degrees. We figured the temperature in the attic was closer to 130 degrees with no ventilation. Yet neither of the two technicians complained (although they were grateful for the water and fruit I gave to them.) They acted professionally the who time, completed the job in the time allotted and left with no treace of the insulation, dirt or any marks on the floor. This company definitely deserves and A rating and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone who contacts me.

This was the best investment in my home that I had put off for far too long. After an energy audit done by Consumers Energy, they provided a list of preferred vendors and I chose Blanket. The benefit was felt immediately - on a very hot day in June I had to turn the AC thermostat up as what I had used to set it at to cool my home was far too cold! I am looking forward to the benefits of their work this winter. Greg at Blanket, was the ultimate professional from the initial analysis of my home all the way through to completion. I was impressed with his knowledge and his thorough in the explanation of the results of the blow door test addressing areas of my home that were sorely lacking insulation and was respectful of my budget.. The professionals doing the installing, recognized a water problem in my crawlspace that needed to be fixed which is why I ended up going to FSM for failing drain tiles and sewer pipe, ugh - had Blanket not been thorough in recognizing what was happening in the crawl, I could have had a severe and extremely costly problem! The entire experience and resulting work was over and above what I had expected. For qulaity of work and price, I would recommend to all needing to address tightening up an old home like mine, to call on Blanket Insulation. They are awesome!

Greg gave an excellent presentation and scheduled instillation for the following week. Lorenzo, Ethan and Dave arrived on time, Lorenzo showed me his photo I.D. All of them were polite, neat and efficient. The clean up when they were finished was more than I expected. Could not have asked for anything better than this crew.

Blanket Insulation did a great job. Starting with the quote activity - Greg was very thorough and took time to explain his findings. The work crew showed up on-time and was very professional. The work crew also took care to lay tarps on the floor for their foot traffic, cover all areas where the hoses would be and wore protective shoe coverings when walking through the house so as not to soil the carpet or the floors. The work crew worked extremely hard for almost 9 hours and were very skilled at their craft. Greg then followed up with an "audit" after the job was complete to verify all work was completed to specification (per the quote) . I highly recommend Blanket Insulation.
