Description of Work: The insulation in my attic had decreased after occupying my home for 10 years and my R rating had really gone down. Blanket Insulation brought my rating up to R49, installing R25 cellulose. I needed 1218ft, as well as the big deal of $100.00for 300ft.

Description of Work: An energy audit of the home was performed. Some of the analysis seemed a bit slipshod, very rapidly performed. The auditor seemed to indicate that he had some issues with some of his equipment. Would have liked to have photo documentation of the areas that needed remediation, especially the infrared analysis. The summary was provided rapidly with cost estimates for remediation. Needed to do all that was stated for that price. Picking and choosing would be more costly but these prices were not indicated.

Description of Work: I bought the special deal to have an energy audit done on my home. I have wanted one since I know our old house has some inefficiencies and it was too good a deal to pass up. The audit seemed thorough (to me) and the tech explained what he did. It took a little longer to get the final report than he had told me but when I called to check on it I received it the following day, so no complaints there. I have not yet hired the firm to follow through on the suggestions but we will probably have them do some little by little before winter.

Description of Work: provider came out as scheduled. Brought test equipment and was ready to set up. He indicated that part of the procedure would be to keep the front door open and cover the opening with their special covering. The temperature at that time was 7 degrees. My wife and I did not want the house to become cold so we requested rescheduling. The representative was very courteous and gave us his card. He said to call for a new time whenever it is good for us. The weather has been very cold and we have not called for the evaluation yet.
