Letâ s start here with a text I received to entice you to keep reading. â And before I do anything. I want to go over the texts and job with your husband and father there too.â Said to the woman who booked him and paid for the job. He does not show up after he gets a deposit. The job pools water and it leaks into my homeâ ¦read onâ ¦ I booked them to replace my 10x12 front porch in August of 2022 and did not do the job until August if 2023. They insisted on a 10% down payment. I did it because I was desperate because a truck hit our porch and it was dangerous. They said they could finish by winter. I called 3 times and finally he told me, there is a concrete shortage. In the spring I called again, no response so I texted. He said he â tried to call meâ but I have no records of his call or a voicemail. He said he would do it in June. June came and went. At the end of June I asked to set a date. He said end of July, July came and went with many messages and missed dates to start. The entire time I asked for samples, colors and patterns to chose from to no avail. August showed up and I asked for my deposit back and booked new quotes. All the sudden he responded and set a dateâ ¦never showed with no response. I texted, again. Finally he called and had the concrete guy in the phone who could have been his brother for all I know and blamed it on the concrete company. Still no color or patterns. Still no set date. Finally I started texting and asking everyday for a day. At 6:30 Monday night he says heâ s coming in the AM and wants cashâ ¦I explained to him that the banks are closed. I asked about colors and patterns. I said I wanted a grey that matches my stone so I need a color chart to match against. He sent me one photo of one job and asked, is this what you want? Literally no color charts or brochures. I had to send him patterns and colors I wanted. He increased the price for a border. He increased the price at the last minute for no reason. My front porch leaks into my basement because the step it is graded towards the house and puddles at the door. Also, he cut the step, in half, down to the foundation of my house. He is unwilling to rectify the issues and replace the step and said, â use caulkâ . So, I get to deal with water sitting against my door and ice pooling and freezing in the corners of my porch. The color is not what I requested (see photos) and I didnâ t even ask for a change just a product he knew of to enhance it a little more and I got this response, â You have changed your mind 10 times, your all.over the place and I should have never dealt with you. I never have problems with people. I did what we agreed on, the step has variations in level because of the stamp pattern. You have been an absolute pain to deal with. Stop texting me in 2-3 weeks. I will come by and addressâ ¦.And before I do anything. I want to go over the texts and job with your husband and father there tooâ ¦ I will see you end of August or latest first week of septâ I sent him one photo of the color I wanted. And three photos of the exact pattern I wanted. So, there was no changing my mind. My father, retired residential builder, came and watched him and stopped them from putting too little cement, incorrectly doing the foundational work. There is not matched colored caulk for concrete stamping anywhere, I bought many tubes. His â caulk manâ , that Antonio would not pay for, said that they canâ t match the color exactly. I have to sue him to get my money back so I can replace the step to have it properly graded or else the water pooling will eventually rot my house, either on the exterior or inside. Also, it creates a slip hazard during the winter. I tried to address all this with Antonio before he even sealed it. I tried to come to an agreeable resolution which was just replace the step.

Hired to replace front door step and partial driveway replacement. Palermo is reasonably priced, provide great communications and do excellent work! Antonio is customer oriented and I would definitely hire Palermo again.

Very Fast! Fun to work with and a breath of fresh air in comparison to other trade experiences. Showed up with a huge crew and quality machines. Poured a beautiful stamped and colored courtyard patio for us, cleaned up and was out in a few hours! Thank you for making this experience enjoyable and for a beautiful job well done!!
