ALLTRONICS SYSTEMS LTD

We have a long history with this company and for the install/sales portion of the relationship, they were spot on. however, with our entire house commitment to this one company, we were dependent on them for service. As the time passed, things in the house started requiring service. Initially, again, they were spot on. However, as time passed, they began being more difficult to get ahold of leaving messages with their company. In addition, they required increasing amounts of time to respond, many times as I was told, as they had commercial accounts to deal with and I was a residential account. We felt somewhat compelled to stick it out with even this worsening service offered. An example recently was we had a carbon monoxide detector go out, and as they were unavailable to get to us, we were instructed ourselves to bypass the detector and wait until they could attend, weeks later. Well, to top off, a few days ago, I offered my discontent to Lynn, an owner, and the response from her the following day was to tell me that they would no longer be servicing our account and told me to find another service. So I write this review warning other consumers to beware of the companies that quite readily sell and install a big time system, but do so poorly of a job in maintaining (understandably this is the less financial return to them, but the homeowner is stuck with what they installed and how to service). And i the homeowner takes the time to give feedback, even if it is not what the company wants to hear, that owner stuck with this equipment in their homes can and has been done, be told to no longer look to the installing company for the help in service of the very equipment they installed. BEWARE!

This is pure crap! I gave these people an awful review and Angie's list deleted it after a few months. The CONSUMER ISSUES website and the Federal Court System is correct Angie's list a is paid off and fixed. Buyer beware!

DAN IS VERY PLEASANT UNTIL THE MOMENT YOU PAY THEIR BILL, AND BTW I PAID WITHIN ONE DAY OF THEM FINISHING THE INSTALLATION. HOWEVER, WHEN I HAD A PROBLEM WITH CAMERAS GOING OUT WHEN I CHANGED INTERNET PROVIDERS, THEY WERE THE NASTIEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE. I SUSPECT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEM. I SUSPECT THEY HAVE THEIR FRIENDS WRITE IN THE OTHER REVIEWS. ALL I ASKED THEM TO DO WAS TEXT OR CALL ME WITH A SOLUTION, NOT EVEN COME OVER HERE, AND THEY WOULD NOT EVEN DO THAT!! THESE PEOPLE ARE ALSO EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE AND MARK UP ALL THEIR PARTS USED 100%. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR EVEN ASKING QUESTIONS, UNLESS YOU WANT THE HITLER BROTHER-IN-LAW TO SCREAM AT YOU AND INSULT YOU! LYNN AND HER HUSBAND ARE THE MEANEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY 60 YEARS OF LIVING! BUYER BEWARE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AND TREATED LIKE CRAP!!! I ONLY WROTE THIS REVIEW AFTER THEY REFUSED TO EVEN TAKE CARE OF THAT SMALL PROBLEM, OTHERWISE I WOULD NOT EVEN TAKE MY TIME TO WRITE THIS AND FIGURED I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN, BUT NOT EVEN TAKING CARE OF A SIMPLE PROBLEM THAT COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE WHO CHANGED THEIR INTERNET PROVIDER WAS UNSPEAKABLE! THEY TOLD ME TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO REPAIR THEIR PROBLEM!!!! I AM TAKING THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT!!!!!

I have known them and they have done work for me for about thirteen years. One of the owners, his name is Dan, I am into computers but I got a little bit behind the curb and I haven’t quite caught up yet, I used to be able to build them myself but he knows a lot more, than I do. If I were to try to do it, I might get lucky and have it working in first try but there is a good chance that there would be something stupid that I didn’t know. I gave him my old computer, I gave him the new parts that I wanted to add to it, and told him to try to save whatever he can from my old computer so that I don’t spend more money than what I need to and he did a great job. I don’t think he ever stops working. Last weekend on a Saturday night he was here working until 12.30, he was working on my computer to get it exactly perfect. I don’t mean it in an insulting way but he is almost a little bit compulsive about making sure things work perfectly and works in every way one could possibly use it, not just the simple installation, he does the complicated ones so that one can do anything one wants. They are two owners, Dan and Floyd and Floyd is more the alarm person I believe and Dan does the alarm stuff as well but he does the computers, networking and audio-video stuff, he works with anything electronic. The first initial installation in the computer would have taken Dan at least seven to eight hours because I have an unique system and I have a lot of data and more than twenty-six hard drives, so he spent so much time here and I was expecting it to be close to a $1000. He made sure everything worked perfectly no matter what one does and he was like “just give me $200” and I was like, “are you sure?” because it didn’t feel right. I can’t imagine that company that would do as much as they do for cheaply as they do it and as expertly as they do it. My brother in law currently owns two restaurants and a sports bar and he uses Alltronics to do all his networking in those places. Dan has been in business for probably seven or eight years. Pretty much anybody I know that is in that business uses them, so there is nothing bad to say about them.

It went great! Lightening had struck a telephone line and since our system is integrated into the phone system, he had to replace the components that were damaged. He replaced about 90% of the system. They are very competent with what they do and I was very pleased.
