Everything went well. It was just a basic routine service. Everything was in good order and they just cleaned the ignitor and sensor otherwise.

Installation & f/u service met my expectations.

great, didnt try to up sell or anything, told me what was wrong and even showed me ( im an engineer ) so I knew he was being honest even though he did not know my background. very nice guy and had my best interest in mind the whole time! to me, thats what counts.

Had to reschedule first date for furnace install because one of two installers was ill. Hewere willing to do it alone but I requested the reschedule as furnace had to be taken down steps and old one up steps. Also with one man it was goig to be a two day job do I requested reschedule rather than sit at home for two days.

They have come right away when my heater needed it. It was an emergency call so it was understandably high. It was very good. Very professional and reliable. I would definitely recommend.

I could not have been more impressed by the work done and the ethics of this company and installer! I had purchased this home during the winter months in Ann Arbor, MI in 2013. Four months later when temps warmed up, I discovered that the Air Conditioning did not work (heating was working). After a recommendation at Home Depot and seeing a very good rating on Angie's list, I contacted Andy's Statewide for an estimate. Their estimate was reasonable based on what I saw on the internet for this type of repair and I hired them. They went "Way Above and Beyond". The installer (Jim Coughenour) showed me that the furnace had been installed backwards - the front was installed only 12" from the concrete block wall in the basement at the location of what should have been the back of the furnace. He explained that if furnace replacements are required, the costs would be much greater due to accessibility requirements - normally the interior of the furnace can be pulled out like a drawer to gain access from the front to replace parts - about 24". Jim said it would not be a lot of additional time to correct this and rotated the furnace 180 degrees to correct the existing problem (at no extra cost - see Before and After photos). He also pointed out that someone had added a vent in the return air duct in the basement close to the furnace and said that was also not right because it can cause the exhaust gases that should go up the chimney from the water heater and furnace to be pulled back into the house. The new return air ductwork he installed corrected that problem too! After checking public records, I found that the furnace had been installed W/O permits sometime prior to the sale of the house. The work done by Andy's Statewide was done with required permits and was approved by the City of Ann Arbor - the inspector said that Andy's had pointed out legitimate existing problems and had properly corrected them. I had them install my new heating and air conditioning system in my home in 2015. I was happy with them; very happy. They are very efficient. The system is excellent; I've not had any problems with it since they installed it. I thought their price was a little high, but I felt like it was a good value because I've not put a new furnace system in, in a long, long time. In fact, I never have; I've always been able to just get the maintenance done on the existing ones. Having them install it, they did the work very professionally, they were on time, did what they said they were gonna do. I thought the price was a little high initially, but again, it's performed well for me so I'm satisfied.

We have a 3 ton central a A/C unit to cool our 2nd floor and a portion of the 1st, plus a Mitsubishi "mini-split" which handles the remainder of the 1st and the basement. neither system worked on start-up in 2016. The central A/C air handler is blowing air but not cold, and the outdoor unit was not spinning (I suspected a bad capacitor as this has occurred before). Mini-split outdoor unit also not spinning, and the indoor unit(s) are blowing warm air. My normal HVAC guy was backed up, so i located Andy's on AL, who is also a "diamond" service contractor for mitsubishi mini-split systems. They answered the phone, and were able to get someone out here the next day (Friday) which was great. The tech called when he hit the road, and arrived as promised 35 later. He immediately diagnosed the central air unit problem as "probably the capacitor" (as i'd guessed), and popped in a new one and it worked. I'm thinking AWSOME, he's been here 90 seconds and the primary A/C is working and now I'm now happy. Then he hands me a bill for (approximately) $420 dollars. Service call fee of $120 something plus $300 something for the part. ***!!! That capacitor is like $20 retail. Last time my normal HVAC guy did this replacement the part was $70-80. I expect a mark-up, but $300+ for a capacitor is outrageous. Before i argue, I ask him to look at the Mini-split. He grumbles but pops off the cover and looks over the the outdoor unit electronics/connections for all of 2 minutes, all the lights are green, no trouble code was flashing (something i had already confirmed before he got there). So we head inside and he pulls the cover on the living room unit and looks at that control board . He touches his meter to a couple of solder points on the board and says something like "see that? i'm getting 2.1 amps (or maybe ohms). that's not right. the mother boards are definitely shot on your indoor units. you'll need to replace both of them". I said how does he know the boards on both units are bad, and he tells me that since neither is working, and the outdoor unit is okay, i must have had a power surge that cooked both indoor boards, He assures me he's seen it "a bunch of times". I showed him my service manual for my unit which didn't mention anything about that check, but he assured me that this was the problem. So he tells me that these boards are all "very specialized" and that these systems are "rare", and parts will need to be special ordered. He said to expect it to be 1-2 weeks, cost will be about $600 per motherboard plus 2-3 hours labor to install both of them. Holy F%&!!!!!! That's about 1/2 the price of the whole system new! He nods sympathetically and says I should be happy it's not the motherboard on the outdoor unit, cause those run about $1500 + 2 hours labor. So i'm pretty upset. I wanna tell him to take a hike, pay the service call fee, and just pick up a capacitor at the supply shop and swap it out myself on Monday, but it's getting late on a Friday, and it's gonna be 90F the next few days, and my wife is gonna murder me if i do that, so i talk him down $25 bucks or so, and pay him about $375 for roughly 30 minutes of his time, and i head inside and wait to hear from his office about the cost of these rare motherboards worth their weight in diamonds. So Andy's never calls. The weekend passes, no call Monday either. Monday night, my regular HVAC guy calls me and says he can swing by. i do not tell him about the capacitor robbery as it was embarrassing. When he gets here, i show him the mini-split. He's a bit hesitant, and says he doesn't do a lot of mini-splits. I hand him my service manual, and he proceeds to go through the checks it prescribes. He opens up both indoor units checks everything, all good. He opens the outdoor unit, checks everything, all good. (took him about an hour and 15 mins or so to do all this). He tells me the "good" news, and says the manual says if all checks are OK, the outdoor motherboard is the culprit. CRAP... $1500 plus 2 additional hours of labor i'm thinking. My guy says he'll order the part and get back to me. So, 2 days later, motherboard for the OD unit arrives. My guy pops over and installs it in 4 MINUTES. it literally is held on with two screws and three pull-off connectors. Everything immediately works great. Total cost 1.75 hours labor (including the diagnostic labor) plus $170 for the part. Don't know what would have happened if i'd let Andy's replace those two (perfectly fine) indoor motherboards, then when that didn't work, the outdoor board for a total cost of around $2K as they had estimated. Glad i didn't go down that road.

Randy informed me my burner was cracked and I needed a new furnace. He presented 5 furnace options along with a air conditioner. I had done some research and if the burner was creaked it would have had to shut my furnace down. I would not recommend using this company.

It went really well. We have used them before. They came out right away. They fixed the problem like they usually do and are pretty reasonable in price.

This was a big deal purchase. It was okay. I do remember the man who came -- I don't think he was well aware of the deal. When I called to make the reservation I informed them that I had used the deal, and they said no problems, but the guy who came, I think he was unaware of how it all worked so he made me call back and all that stuff. I paid $69 for the service. I probably purchased the deal and used it within a week or two from the date of the purchase. I did it pretty quickly, because I knew I needed it. I think the price was very well. I did a lot of shopping and I think this was the best price I found. Their responsiveness was pretty good. His professionalism was fine. They did the job and left, that's it. I was not expecting much more than that.

I sent in the 3 dates for when the appointment would work for me, but was never contacted to confirm or modify. Have used them in the past with satisfactory results, not sure what happened this time??

It was fine. Price was fine. I didn't have to pay anything additional. It wasn't very long after the purchase. It was an emergency. They came pretty quick.

They did not pull a permit for the unit and it became a hassle of getting that set up. It took a long time to get them to call me after. They didn't set up the inspection and stuff. It became a hassle on the back end. I was a little annoyed by the lack of permit. I thought their prices were fair and I don't know if they were the best price I could have gotten.

Outstanding service! Randy made the service call. Decided we needed new furnace and A/C (18 years old with warrantied heat exchanger). No charge for the service call with new purchase. Reggie and Ryan came early and completed install by 2 p.m. Very knowledgeable and professional. Second furnace I've had installed by Andy's and I can't say enough. Price was great too, with 25% off for purchase of both furnace and A/C.

They arrived on time and let me know they're coming out. They cleaned up their mess and were absolutely polite and courteous.

They came out and did a fairly quick job of diagnosis (I had helped because I looked up the furnace's "LED code"). The igniter was bad, so he replaced it and was in and out very quickly. He also recommended me some new furnace options as my current unit -- while he said it was in very good shape -- is fairly ready for replacement.

Service ok. Serviceman rude and not very engaging. Made me wonder if I was really getting the best diagnosis and price.

My husband was really happy with them. They are reputable.
