Description of Work: Replaced old boiler and all ancillary hardware. Quoted job thoroughly for a very professional configuration. The bypass loop is crucial for keeping enough flow through the boiler when only one zone is functioning. The house has two zones, and was previously equipped with one circulator pump and two zone valves. The new installation has three circulator pumps and a zone panel. Very professional installation method that maintains proper flow through the boiler. These guys had the main manifold pre-built at their shop. The whole demolition and installation was done shortly after lunch. | |The other quotes were generally for more for a lower quality system. | |Prompt, professional and trustworthy. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: Our water heater died two days after terrible flooding in our area. All water heater vendors were swamped. Slasor decided to add weekends to their schedule for a few weeks to take up the slack. They came on a Saturday morning and got the job done. They were fast, efficient and clean! We would definitely use this company again!

Description of Work: We used Slasor to get a second opinion on A/C repairs. Kevin, the technician determined (1) we did not have a massive freon leak, as the first company had said, and (2) the first company had mis-wired the thermostat, so that the A/C could not operate. The first company estimated it would cost us at least $1,300 for them to troubleshoot and repair what they said was a Freon leak, or at least $3,500 for them to install a new A/C system. Slasor's honesty and integrity will ensure we call them if we need A/C work in the future

Spouse went over to the other company to get an air filter, they sold him the wrong one. They didn't know which one we needed, even though we had our furnace installed by them within a few years. Called around to get a filter, Slasor located one out of town and offered to have it delivered to my door. When the filter came in a few days later, they realized it came in a box with three. If I bought one more, they would give me the 3rd for free. Sounds like a good deal because I looked for the filter online and it was a fair price, plus no shipping fee. The other company was supposed to call me back when they could locate one (to fit the air cleaner they sold and installed to me). I didn't get that call. I called them a couple of weeks later to say that I had gotten one.

I was looking for a complete system. They turned out to be the best price and they were the most cooperative with the things that I wanted and needed. They gave me a better price. They brought it down for me. The work was done very efficiently and they were professional. They were in and out in two days.

Craig came out to discuss our furnace options and budget with us. We preferred one that we had researched, although he wasn't trying to sell at the time. He was able to get us the information needed to meet our needs, not the needs of his inventory. We chose Slasor out of 4 companies we met with. We liked Craig's personality, their costs, their concern of our existing workmanship and the many details they brought to our attention that needed to be up to code. The removal of our furnace was very quick and efficient. The installation took most of the day. Installation and remounting our accessories went smoothly. They were creative and minimized our piping and ductwork. They left a crisp clean look to our furnace. I couldn't believe all the slender ductwork and awkward piping they found proper places for. They custom made a space for our back ordered air cleaner which they quickly installed as soon as they got it in. The installers were knowledgeable and professional.
Description of Work: The company removed my old furnace and useless ductwork. They installed a new furnace, reattached the humidifier, remounted the A-Coil, and made space for an anticipated back ordered air cleaner. A lot of detail in the custom made ductwork and logical design of the necessary intake / outbound PVC and pipes.

THE PROJECT WENT VERY WELL. IT TOOK THE TEAM 1 DAY TO REMOVE THE OLD SYSTEM AND INSTALL THE NEW ONE. THE CREW WAS ON TIME, PROFESSIONAL, AND COMPLETED THE JOB AS SCHEDULED. ALL DEBRIS WAS HAULED AWAY AND THE BASEMENT SWEPT. THE TEAMLEADER (PETE) WALKED ME THROUGH OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM BEFORE LEAVING. HE ALSO WALKED ME THROUGH THE PAPERWORK (TRANE REBATE, CITY PERMIT, TAX CREDIT FORM, ETC) WHICH THEY HAD COMPLETED FOR ME AND ONLY REQUIRED MY SIGNATURE - COULDN'T HAVE BEEN EASIER. THEY EVEN MAILED THE REBATE IN FOR ME. ALSO APPRECIATED THE FACT THAT THE ESTIMATES THEY PROVIDED ME ALSO REFLECTED TRANE REBATE AMOUNTS AND ENERGY TAX CREDITS. GOOD JOB !!! THEY WILL ALSO BE BACK NEXT YEAR TO CHECK ON THE SYSTEM AT NO CHARGE.

The owner came out for the estimate and was professional and polite. The installer was also professional and on time. We went with Slasor because of the fair price and promptness. The AC unit works well and was welcome after our horrible heat wave this summer!
Description of Work: They did installation of a central AC unit and thermostat. We found the company when we happened to stop off at the Livonia Home Depot (we're on the other side of town). Slasor was listed as a vendor for AC installation. We gave them a call, and they came out quickly to give us an estimate and provide materials on their services, as well as their products, which are Trane AC units. They provided a written estimate that was pretty reasonable, compared to other estimates we'd gotten, so we went with them. They laid a concrete slab for the outside AC unit, installed the unit, hooked it up to the system we already have in place for heating, and replaced the 50's round thermostat with a digital programmable one. They obtained a work permit, completed the work in a day, and sent out a certificate for inspection within a week.
