Slasor did a great job. It was a big job and they finished up early. Everyone was polite, cleaned up afterwards and Craig Jones, who gave me my original estimate also helped do the work and spent a lot of time afterwards to go over everything. I am very happy.

They were prompt, reasonable price and they did a great job.

Great! Cleaned humidifier of buildup and took time to explain the things I should do to keep the furnace clean and running efficiently since I am mechanically challenged. Have used this company for years and they have always been excellent in knowledge and timely in service. Highly recommend.

Very pleased with the staff. Explained all questions I had. Installers very professional and completed the hot water heater in a timely manner. I was surprised that there was no owners manual or paper work for the water heater. Installed reset all the information was on the front of the water.

Service call performed early the next business day.

Found an additional problem & added part at no extra charge.

I recommend them to anyone. Matter of fact, I recommend them to my children. They cleaned everything up and I've had no issues with the unit at all.

I always go to them. They are class A, they know exactly what to do and they done very very well for me. All the way around, I cant say enough about them. There were a lot of rebates, they tracked down the best rebates in the state. It was just a great day, they did all the work for me and provided me with the forms. It ended up cutting the price in half for the system after the rebates. I couldn't pass up that deal. They did an excellent job. They came and inspected it and they said it was a great system. I wouldn't go to anyone else but them, their right on the money.

I'm a happy customer, and the township inspector was pleased with the quality of the work. The crew was friendly and professional, and I appreciate that Slasor took the second day (half day, really) to fine tune the system and make sure things were running properly. I also appreciate the rebates being filled out for me. My only recommendation is to make each one a line item to show which ones are already accounted for in the price (those would go to Slasor directly) versus the ones that come to the homeowner later. I would recommend Slasor to any of my neighbors.

It went well. I was renting the home out at the time but the tenants were happy. They also told me about a rebate I could get from the utility company. They are courteous and tidy and reliable.

Called Slasor first thing Monday morning, after the air conditioner died over the weekend. (They actually were answering the phone a few minutes before they opened.) They said they would have a technician out that day for sure while other places said I would have to wait 3-5 days. (Did I mention it was 90 degrees outside?) Grace from the office called at about 9AM and said a technician was on his way. John (the technician) arrived shortly thereafter. He was extremely polite, introduced himself, knew my name and shook my hand. He asked questions to clarify the situation and then asked that I show him the location of the unit and the thermostat, furnace, etc. Within 30 minutes, he had diagnosed the problem and discussed my options. After departing to pick up the necessary part, John called and provided an estimate to complete the repair and reported that the necessary part was in stock. Within another 30 minutes, he was back on the job and had the air conditioning up and running before noon. Overall, this was likely the best HVAC experience I have had and will absolutely use this company again.

They showed up on time and explained what they were going to do and gave an approximate time that the job would be completed. They were very professional, answered all our questions, and cleaned up the job site. They supplied an itemized quote of all equipment we were purchasing and all of the services they were going to provide. Craig and Kory are an excellent team!

Repair took two days as parts had to be ordered. Was told I would receive a call to schedule the second visit in the morning. I ended up calling them around 11 am. They were, however, prompt to get someone out to finish the project. Furnace is running great.

Our furnace just stopped working the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We were able to get a service tech (not from Slasor) to come out and take a look at it that day. He condemned it on the spot, apologized, and left us without heat. So, a quick trip to Lowe's for a kerosene heater, then I started looking at HVAC service providers on Angie's List. Had service techs from three places come out to give me quotes on Monday, including the place that had condemned the furnace. None of the three even examined the furnace to see if the initial diagnosis was accurate. I wasn't really thrilled with any of the quotes, but I did like the Trane two stage, variable speed furnace that one of the servicemen had pitched to me. So, I checked for other Trane dealers in the area and found Slasor. I called and Craig came right out when he heard we had no heat. He examined the furnace, found the problem, and got it running so he could further inspect it. After letting the furnace run for a while, and THOROUGHLY explaining what he believed caused the failure and what needed to be done, he provided me with a quote on the Trane furnace that was almost $1000 less than the other quote (coincidentally from the place that originally condemned the furnace). Also, Craig said that if we bought a couple of CO detectors and didn't run the furnace at night, he felt it would be safe to run until his crew could come out and install the new furnace. But we should keep a close eye on the CO detectors and call him if it got any higher. So, at least we had heat over Thanksgiving! The next week, Slasor's two man crew came out on time and got right to work. They were professional, friendly, and did a great job cleaning up. We upgraded to the WiFi thermostat during the installation and Slasor didn't miss a beat. After installation was completed, they gave me a tour of the new furnace, showing me how to do all the necessary maintenance to keep it running smoothly. All in all, it took about 5 hours or so and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I HIGHLY recommend Slasor for their honesty, professionalism, and customer service.

On time, no delays and the team includes two guys all day and one who does the sheet metal run back to the shop. There clean, through and fast. I have used them before and recommended them before and thus friends and relatives have used them and been as pleased as I have been. The are simply excellent at what they do and never try to put anything over on the customer and there are no failures and the endless excuses that other guys use. Fair price, quality equipment and installation and excellent work including cleanup.

Got an estimate from Craig Jones, of Slasor Heating and Cooling, on 7/15/14 for cleaning and inspection of furnace, a replacement cost if needed, as well as a separate cost for an additional heat vent to be run into a room. Slasor's serviceman came out a week or so later, examined and cleaned the furnace, proclaimed it to be in good shape and not needing replacement. I then attempted to make four contacts with Craig to schedule the heat vent to be installed. Wouldn't return calls. When I made contact one day, he said he was booked and to call back in three weeks. He then wouldn't return call. Finally made contact with him today. He said he wouldn't honor the $400 for the vent, since he was busy and it would take a technician a half day to do it. He said he was booked until December. I said I didn't mind a little wait, since it had been three months. He refused to schedule it, stating he only gave me a price for it because he figured he could sell me a furnace. Since I didn't need a furnace, he suggested I go somewhere else for this to be done. We are now into the heating season, and he is refusing to honor the estimate he sent me. By the way, this service was to be done for my mother, handicapped and recently widowed. He met her and knew the situation. Horrible experience. For the record, I had a furnace installed at my house by this company, and service was good. I am ashamed to have referred my mom to this business. Now, I am forced to try to find someone to help with this service. Shame on them for saying they would do something, then refusing to take calls, then refusing to perform the service they said they would do in their own estimate.

They were great. They guy that come out, Larry, is stupendous. Best I've ever seen.

The repairman arrived quickly after our call and set to work. There was a defunct thermocouple and a bad gas line from the gas valve to the pilot light. He fixed the problems expeditiously and restored heat.

Craig at Slasor was the only individual that apparently heard our request clearly. One never contacted us after the initial sales call. The other two, while very competent, quoted systems that were beyond the scope of our project. Slasor called a week before the install and said that a brand new thermostat had just been introduced into the market that would fit into the small space are our current thermostat was located, eliminating the need to put a new hole in the wall and patching another hole. Great! The crew arrived 10 minutes before the 8:00 AM scheduled arrival time and they proceeded to waste no time in getting our old system out and the new one in (inside and out). By 3:00 PM the system was running and Craig was giving me a step-by-step tutorial on programming the new thermostat. Craig stopped when he realized he didn't have the outdoor sensor for the unit with him, so he he promised to call me when it arrived. He called the next week to schedule finish to outdoor sensor and natural gas pipe line installation and the job was completed. It has worked flawlessly since his team . The Slasor team was meticulously clean and I would highly recommend them to anyone. As for energy efficiency, our electric rates for this summer have dropped dramatically from last summer. We were the type to only run the air when it was and quot;really hot.and quot; Now we run it all the time! Slasor helped us get energy efficient without breaking the bank. Bravo!

This is not the first time I have used Slasor Heating In Livonia. I keep going back to them because they deliver. The quality of their work excellent. The price is competitive. This is the 4 th time I have used them. They come on the day you schedule them, the staff is polite and professional. They give you there opinion you can take or leave it. There work is up to the city code standards so you have no problem with the inspectors. Once I had an emergency no heat and they came out within a half hour notice. They are my furnace guys.

He came over and gave me an estimate. It was very reasonable. The inspector came by and gave me the certificate of occupancy. He was right on time and very professional. Their work was wonderful. I have no complaints with that. I was able to pass the inspection without any problems. They were very helpful and gives you what you need. They don't try to sell you something that you don't need. He was here when he said he would be.

They are so wonderful. We have our favorite young man Mike that comes out every 6 months. Julie the receptionists is just a Sweet.

We purchased a house and put on an addition. Entire old house needed to be re-ducted and zoned and addition needed ducting and zoning. Craig came out and met with us we discussed standard heating, zoning and geothermal as well. We requested estimates for each. They requested plans for the addition. We provided those and were supposed to then meet with Craig and someone else for the estimates. They canceled one meeting and then quit returning our calls. Admittedly, since this was going to be a project in the vicinity of $40,000.00 I didn't try to chase them down too much - a couple of phone calls. I figured if they can't even respond to provide an estimate on any of the 3 options we requested then they probably wouldn't be any better at providing the actual service. I have not tried to follow up with them to either get our plans back or find out what went wrong. I suspect the job was just out of the range of their capabilities - we are 5 months into the project and still not completed - it's intensive custom work. We went with another local contractor who has been wonderful to work with.

Craig was very thorough assessing our needs, addressed items that he would correct from previous installation. His estimate was very competitive, but I just decided to go with another company that I felt addressed our specific project better. No specific reason or problem. I would still recommend anyone looking to include Slasor when getting estimates.

I was very impressed. I had a different company install the furnace two years ago. While the Slasor technician was here for a furnace cleaning he also fixed a few issues from the installation with no extra charge. He thoroughly explained all of the adjustments he was making very well.
