Description of Work: Steve from Harriman Heating came out told about the furnace offered at the $1,899 price but is not the ENERGY efficient furnace. The one that would best suit my needs cost $2,599 which is $700 more which I cannot afford at this time. I need to wait until this is affordable. I have since incurred other expenses & need to wait for this big purchase as I am on a "fixed income". I would use Harriman Heating in the future. Thank you.

Description of Work: We got the Angie Deal for a furnace inspection but then had a hard time scheduling because of the limited days they are in our area. I would have gone with another provider but had already paid for the coupon. The reason for my low scores are because of the challenge with getting a hold of them or just leaving a voice mail, but mainly because there was water leaking from our furnace (which we only just discovered the day before his check-up) but he advised us not to do anything, that it would just cause further problems. The problem with that advice was that, while doing the furnace check-up, he must have bumped something because we found ourselves with a BIG water leak that evening. We ended up calling our usual service provider to come fix it. We would have had to pay to fix it either way, but I would have preferred to have Harriman do it since my husband had already taken off half a day for his arrival (between 9-12, actual arrival closer to 1pm). I typically take a professional's suggestion, but wished I hadn't with him.

Description of Work: I had my furnace cleaned. The best part was Jessie explaining everything he did. He answered all my questions, even the questions not dealing with my furnace. I can honestly say this company (Jessie) will not over charge their clients or do any services that you don't need. I will be calling Jessie in the fall for my annual cleaning and tune up service. I am glad I waited instead of being impatient. It took about 4 weeks to get appointment, that's how busy they were. HAPPY CUSTOMER

Description of Work: They came to help me with my gas fireplace that would not start and was pretty scary to consider gas leaking throughout the house. "The guy" was MOST helpful in showing me how it worked, what was going on, and how to fix it myself in the future...not the least of which was realizing I needed a key to get into the thing. It was a great experience. |

Description of Work: They were OK. I've had this done many times and they broke the record for getting it done the fastest. They said every thing looked good except the duct work that was probably too small by a couple inches and would replace it for 800.00 They might be right but I don't believe it.

Description of Work: Had my furnace cleaned and inspected. They basically just vacuum the inside of your furnace. They also give you a little carbon monoxide detector that is just a sticker that changes color. Nothing real impressive.

Description of Work: We are extremely displeased and very disappointed------They stated we need to replace our furnace----we got a 2nd opinion--who found nothing wrong with furnace and showed us where a cap had been left off which allowed water to leak out-----This is soooooooo unbelievable for an Angie's list provider----you may have just lost a good customer-----not happy Mr and Mrs David Northcross

Because my filter was 20x25x4 It would not be repaced. | |Before they left I was told I could go to the office and pick up a filter. | |That was the only thing that I had a problem with.
