Harriman Heating answered my calls quickly and in an extremely friendly manner. Service call was within 24 hours and at a reasonable price! We are now cool in our house again!

I am very disappointed when I purchased the voucher it was 06/04/2014. I called and they made me an appointment for 06/13. Then it rained (understandable!) the closest appt. they could make was 07/02 a month later. Now, it is not raining and they called me today (the day before the appointment and asked could I wait until 07/24??? I said NO, this is my central air an it needs the yearly tune up. What next September ?? Am I expected to wait until Fall to get my Central air tune-up??? i will never even consider them again!. I am requesting a refund so as to find someone else.

I wasnt able to get these services completed because we had more of an issue with our AC and it turns out we need to have an actual diagnostic test completed. We will now be purchasing another deal with this provider instead.

I own multiple properties an after using many different companies I have decided to use Harriman as my HVAC company. They have provided very good services. When they come to the houses they make sure they are very clean and functioning good. The fact that I choose to use this company as a landlord with multiple properties is a strong endorsement.

Very professional. He checked system and I needed additional freon, which I paid for. Prompt and efficient. Would call again if need be.

It went well, The provider showed up and went through an extensive testing and cleaning of my A/C system. I wasn't home but my son-in-law was. When I did arrive the provider went through the system with me and what he found. There was no upselling related to the service but there was a service agreement that was offered.I was happy with the service and will be happy to use them again.

I purchased the big deal $59 furnace cleaning from Harriman. Service was finally performed after Harriman canceled my appointment without notice twice. The reason for the cancellations changed depending on whom I spoke with. One person stated that they called to confirm that I was at home, but I did not answer, so they cancelled. Another person stated "several senior citizens lost heat today, so we canceled your appointment to service the emergencies". Anyway, after 4 months, the cleaning service was performed yesterday. Today, my furnace does not run at all. No heat, no flame, nothing !! I will find a different service provider to fix the Harriman mess. Overall: F

They were great and the service was fantastic as usual. I initially contacted them this past winter when my furnace went out and my usual provider (of 20 years) wanted to charge $800 to come out on an emergency visit and wanted me to give them two days to get the necessary part. I then decided to check Angie's List and discovered Harriman. I called them around 10:00 PM and described my situation and they informed me that they would have a technician out early the following morning. The technician arrived early in the morning of December 3rd as expected and made the necessary repair for only $369. The work was fantastic, prompt, and professional and I have been using Harriman since. My old company was pushing me to get a new furnace whereas Harriman fixed the issue at hand and informed me that I probably had about five more years left on this unit. They focus on fixing the problem at hand rather than trying to up-sell. Pricing is always excellent as they have a part catalog that shows their price for each part and installation so you know exactly what you're getting for you're money and they never just pull a price off the top of their head.

There were no troubles with scheduling and they kept informed with us before their arrival. They completed the work through the deal with no additional costs. There were no surprises and I did pay additional fees that we agreed upon for repairs that he completed. We had some other specific issues that another company we had been using could not solve. The furnace kept dropping when the temperature was at its coldest. The technician what was sent out from Harriman Heating came up with solution and resolved the issue. He kept me informed as he went along with the work. The work that he did looked very good. The experience was great! I think we will be using them for the services going forward.

I had to have an inspection for city. Tech was on time and very friendly. Took time to show me issues and recommend fixes. Add on service of valve replacement and blower cleaning per his suggestion.

The technician was very nice and informative. He taught how to install my filter.

The provider canceled shortly before they were due to arrive, however we were able to reschedule. The serviceman,Justin was very personable , professional and knowledgeable about servicing my furnace . As a courtesy , they drained my water heater at no charge .?This service was given to make up for cancelig our original appointment. I would use this provider again

I bought a new furnace from Family Heating .... am very pleased !!!!

Excellent inspection, cleaning and good suggestions for long life for the furnace.

After the service was completed, the tech told me I needed my humidistat replaced. Since I wasn't home, I told my wife to go ahead and have it done. For the price quoted, I expected a nice pc of equipment (maybe digital). Instead I got a $25-$30 pc of equipment that only took 5-10 minutes to install. the charge was $200. The tech also wanted to replace the humidifier pad for $40. i opted to get one at HD for $12 and install myself. Overall, I was very disappointed. I am getting a second opinion for some items the tech suggested, but there is no way I will use this company again with that type of markup. for anyone that has done business with me, I have no qualms about paying for services rendered (if fair). But I will not be taken advantage of.

Wonderful, The employee came on time and did the work with knowledge and time management. He had to come back the next day because he didn't have a particular part for my furnace, but that was no problem for me. I realize that a truck cannot hold all parts for all the different types of furnaces!

I had mixed emotions on him. As far as the advertised service it was fine. But then I opened the door and said would you look at my dehumidifier and when I did that, that was when trouble started. They guy did solve the problem, but unfortunately I think he solved the problem twice and he ended up replacing and extra unit that didn't needed. He didn't do it intentionally, but during his analysis there was this one thing that wasn't working quite right, so he assumed there's the problem. Off course he had to run out and get it and drive and come back and then put it in and it still wouldn't work. So then he kept on with the analysis and found that something else was bad. So then he went and changed that. By the time it was done, it was about $500 and a brand new unit costs $432. So I wasn't too happy about that. But again, I am the one who asked him to do it. It wasn't like he shoved it down my throat. And he always asked if it was OK to do that. I watched him the whole time and nodded my head and said yes, that seems reasonable or the price is high, but I understand the cost. And then he told me what the price of a brand new unit was and everything else. But then he came back with the one unit and got that installed. Then it still didn't work and then he had to back and get something else. Now, I suppose I could have stomped my feet and said, wait a minute, let's take the other unit out and take it back, or don't take it back yet, but go and get the other one, stick that in and then take out that new other one and put the old one back in and see if it works. I suppose I could have insisted on it, but I was in a lot of pain and I didn't have the time to screw around. It did work and it solved the problem. So I let it go. So it is my fault. I should have said that if this one is wrong, the chances of both of these being wrong in a unit that is only two years old, is kind of slim, but I was in too much pain that I didn't want to fight. But it wasn't anything that I was really mad about. I was more mad at myself than anything else. He was in a hurry and I think he oversold me. The price that was advertised for the inspection and the cleaning was right on and that was fair. But the total price would downgrade it.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. They were on time, friendly and well priced. They were real quick to come out.

They had to reschedule a few times because of the weather and other people being out of heat, which was totally understandable, and if I had been the one without heat I would have wanted them to prioritize me. They worked with me to find a time that was convenient for me. Very professional, knowledgeable and efficient.

Everything was good. They inspected the condenser to see if there were any cracks and if I needed to replace that and they didn't find anything so I know they were somewhat honest. The pricing was reasonable.
