They did a good job. They were very personable. They appeared to be doing wonderful things. They explained every step of the way what it was and what he was doing. That was deeply appreciated. There were no additional charges. That was what's so nice. He told me that down the road, I needed a new igniter but right now, it was fine. That was deeply appreciated. It was the first time I've used them.

I paid another $200 and something on top of the Big Deal. It turned out okay. The price was good and the service team was thorough. My interactions with them were good. The work they did turned out well. They came out the day I purchased the Big Deal.

The representative was very professional. He followed up, presented other possible fixes, and gave a thorough analysis of the problem. Due to cost, I went with another company;however, I am now regretting that I didn't go with this company. I would highly recommend them.

Everything went well; I found out that I needed to have a new furnace to be installed. They were very informative about the service.

I made the additional purchase because I was impressed with the price. Original installer from 2010 wanted so much more money for same furnace and same work. Needed extensive structural repairs before I could take delivery and installation. Told Harriman it would take at least a month. It ended up taking nearly two months. Problems kept recurring trying to dry out the rear wall of my basement, and re-construct. For three weeks in a row, I scheduled this installation only to cancel. Harriman was very patient and understanding about my situation. .Finally, the week of October 23, the mold problem was finally abated. The installers, Shane and Justin, installed the new furnace. They did a fabulous job, and were great guys Even though this is the same model of furnace that I bought in 2010, I can tell it works better. I am warming my house at lower temperatures. The way they constructed the air return made all the difference. I am just thrilled. I am so thankful that everyone at this company treated me with such patience and kindness. I feel very fortunate to have found a great deal through this company, and everyone on their staff is just wonderful.

The gentleman (I have forgotten his name already) was extremely courteous. I asked him numerous questions about furnaces and tips/advice and he took the time to answer each one and educate me about the system I have. He made me feel much better about turning on my system and knowing what to watch for in regards to preventative maintenance.

Contacted quickly to arrange an appointment. Confirmed it again on Friday (appointment on Monday) and gave me a call on Monday when the tech was on the way. He was on time, professional, gave me a quick run down of the furnace condition, the usual problem area with it (that thankfully we weren't having a problem with), and made it a quick and easy process. Will definitely be checking them out again.

From the initial contact through the installation, everyone at Harriman's was amazing. The people at the office were friendly and answered my questions quickly and thoroughly. Norman, who came to do an inspection prior to installation was very helpful and informative. He was the one that told us a chimney liner would be needed and included that in the final cost. He also took care of the permits through the city. He also took the time to answer all of my questions and make sure I had all the information needed before he left. The gentleman who came to do the final measurements was very nice and offered to take his shoes off while in the house, even though I told him it wasn't necessary. The installers were quick and efficient, took time to explain to us what they were doing and made sure the job was done right. After all of that, we even got a card from the owner thanking us for chosing to do business with them! This is the first contractor that I've used that has taken the time to thank me personally for choosing them. It was a nice surprise and one that I think very highly of. I definitely recommend Harriman's. :)

We made an initial appointment which was then canceled by them for a "busy schedule due to the big deal" and rescheduled 2 weeks later. When the new date came around I requested an afternoon/evening time and I think they gave me 3-5 as an arrival, I said the later the better. The afternoon of the appointment I received a call from the service man that he would not be able to come until 7:00 because he was backed up but saw that later was okay. In fact THAT much later was not okay as I had a meeting at 7:00. By this time it was late July and I did not want to reschedule a 3rd time. The company took the time to call the next day and apologize and has even offered to grant work on our furnace to substitute but we do not need that service. A bit of an annoyance but I liked the way they handled the problem.

Things started off a little uneasy. After a no show on a scheduled appointment (4 hour window) I called company to inquiry. They had the Technician call me and he stated he was still tied up on a previous job. By then it was very late and we unfortunately had to reschedule. But on the next scheduled day he showed early and provided service that was above satisfactory. He resolved my Furnace is issue quickly and without additional costs. Definitely worth recommending...

When they were doing the condenser line all went well they went above and beyond in some areas even going as far as opening up my other a/c box just to shove some wires in there it wasn't a big thing but it was very nice. But when they cut the whole in the wall they left all the dry wall all over the place. When I had garbage bags all over the house because I am having work done on it and a broom and a dust pan if they didn't bring one. Installing the new air return went very well and seems to having nothing wrong with it. Other then the fact I had a tube on it that used to get air from the out side and he actually talked me into not connecting it. He said ," Since the last guys had it on incorrectly are you sure you want me to put it back on. I mean you don't really need it . They are nice to have but you don't have to have them. " So I told him if its wasn't on correct and I didn't even know if it was connect why hook it up. Then I talked to our old furnace guy and he said the guy was just trying to get out of putting it on. :( Yeah the guy said how easy if I wanted to just hook it up later and where to put it. OH no its a B**ch to hook up! Its NOT getting hooked up. And now for the problem area. I actually was not going to leave a review. Have tried everything to get in contact with the company and they will not rectify the problem. when they started the work I ask the tech to run the water line along the floor joist so it was up out of the way as I had a lot of work that I still need to get accomplished under the house. He said no problem, then i asked him some questions pertaining to tapping into the main water supply. He reassured me by drawing me a picture (which i still have) saying he had to tap into a copper line near the meter and it did not matter if it was at the beginning. When the inspector came all they do is check the end fittings to make sure they are copper flanged and are not leaking (to which both ends were) .The inspector asked why he (my plumber) was not there since he scheduled it. when he finally got there the inspector had called his boss because the job was done wrong per them. To which they started to fix (water leaking everywhere). I told my plumber it was wrong and he said ," It is NOT wrong". But in my head i was saying if it wasn't wrong they wouldn't be taking your sh** apart. And i better not be getting charged from them too. So they get done its not leaking anymore, they finish up some other ends and odds i pay them and i go home. I live 40 minuets away. I schedule someone to come out to give me an estimate for insulation and the removal of ductwork. On the bill is a $600. just for excavation. I had no idea why until they tell me it is now impossible to move around under the house after where he moved the water line and connected into a line he DID NOT ask about. He ran it up by the floor joist then under a heat duct then up again rather then above the i beam. I have NO IDEA why he would do that. I went to the town hall building and asked the inspector why he would do that. Even called them to ask if there was a reason why they did it that way and not the way I asked them to. I knew better then to hire them and did it anyway I guess i get what I deserve. And the line they tapped into was a pex line of another job i haven't paid yet. i knew better then to hire them and did it anyway i get what i deserve, Yeah trying to schedule our first apt. for them to come out here I actually called and fired them, because i came out to the house 2 times with them being a NO show. I have cancer and had continuously ask them for morning apts. because get very tired after 2-3 o'clock. Only to come to the house to have them call and say they will be there from noon -5 , or 10-4 and a complete NO SHOW. The day they finished was after 4 and it was painfully exhausting. And I have tried contacting them 3/4 times trying to figure out how to work it out. and they will NOT call or even try to work with me. The other day a bought a insulation suit so i could see exactly what the issue is and yes it is impossible to move around down there. He even tapped into the line that was movable and now you can no longer move it out of your way so. made it even more impossible to get to the other jobs i have to have done. So costing me $1200. for a 600. job. its BS. And not sure how much the hot water guy is now gonna charge me since he can not hang his lines in the end since there is now another line tapped into. And while down there they left all there garbage down there. I could tell you where they buy there couplings from and how crappy they do there flanges because its still in me crawlspace. He had to re cut and start over. :( Worse mistake, and they gave me this huge line about being family owed and wanting to do what is right. Well I am still waiting. Anyway i hope this review helps. Or at least helps them change and really become more family friendly, And take my advice don't pay them until you make sure you get exactly what you asked for. If I had been physically able at the time I defiantly would have.

Tech was punctual and professional. The first thing he looked for was a cracked heat exchanger. This is a typical heating and cooling trick to sell a new furnace. Unfortunately, there actually were visible cracks in my heat exchanger. The options presented to me were a new heat exchange for $1700 or a new furnace for $3000. I did some investigation and determined that my furnace was still under warranty to I was able to get it repaired for $475.

The "technician" looked at the furnace and wrote up that there was a bad relay and that the unit had a fracture in the heat exchange. I was given an estimate of $2900+. This attempt to get me to buy a new furnace smells of fraud. Because of the cost I got a second opinion and they did not find any of the these issues and that the furnace was functioning fine. I also got money back from consumers that covered the cost of the visit.

They were great. I would refer them to anyone! They talk to you and don't rush you. The answer anything you ask.

Job was well done, but was not done in the time period promised. I waited all day for the service. When I called I was promised withim the hour. Wrong. Over two hours later he arrived.

The technician arrived in a timely manner as per the four-hour time slot. The job was completed quickly (it was a newer furnace so no problems were really expected). There's nothing negative to report! I'm basically happy with the work performed.
