We got the entire first floor refinished - I thought the cost was very fair, especially for the high quality work that was done! Tim did a great job keeping me updated on the progress made the entire time. They were able to finish the job in just under the amount of time that was estimated. I liked how easy it was to look at and accept the quotation. I also appreciated that the in-home quotation consultation was quick, and we didn't feel pressured at all. I've had the experience with other companies that they were trying to "make a sale" during in-home consults. Steve was pleasant to interact with and answered all of our questions. He also itemized the quote at our request, because we were unsure if we would have the entire floor done or just a couple rooms. The floors are beautiful! I will definitely recommend Functional Floors to others!

My wife and I were very satisfied with the Crew Chief Brian's work. Brian went out of his way to make sure we were completely happy with our refinished hardwood floor. Brian is a great communicator and very knowledgeable. Also very up-front with me, good or bad. That is very important. Sandra and Sherry in the front office were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made my interactions with Functional Floors stress-free. Steve, the salesman that came out to my house to give me a quote was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had in detail. Great Company!

No refinishing job will ever be perfect. There will always be one or two items that frankly could be related to the quality of the wood, just as much as it could be related to human error, which is why I ranked it 4.5. That said, Brain did amazing. As a person, he is 5 stars. He took, in my opinion, a difficult refinishing project and did better than we expected. We are very happy with our results and we would not think twice about hiring the company again and specifically asking for Brian. Also, the company's relationship with a local moving company in the area made the before and after transition out and into the home very easy and economical.

The project was outstanding. Not only did they finished the project early and were willing to return to my home if something,else was needed.

The project was not even close to what I was expecting. 590 square feet sanded refinish replace 17 boards. The floor is as rough as sandpaper. Nails showing no cracks filled. Work is very unprofessional. Got them from another very similar website to this one, t I spoke with someone and they said they are gonna come out and fix it for free when I already paid them 2490 dollars. So we will see if they come out and fix it.
