One of the 3 bedrooms was covered with old hard mastic from vinyl tiles being placed over the wood. The other 2 rooms were covered with paint splatters. They all came out beautiful.

They did a great job with floors. Complaint was I told them well in advance that time was of the essence. They showed up a day late and got sawdust throughout newly remodeled bathroom where they were not working--I spent quite a bit of time cleaning walls, floors, fixtures, etc.

I called the owner, Chris, who got a scheduled quote in the same week, and the crew had an opening less than 3 weeks after the initial call. My floors were badly neglected by the previous owners; having water marks and paint drops throughout the house. The Master Suite had matted sticky padding under the carpeting, which I doubted would ever come up. I was wrong, it looks like night and day! The floors are GORGEOUS!! The job took 4 days total, which included the extensive 3 layer coating (since I have two medium-sized dogs). Josh took great care of all of my special instructions (keeping the curtains up, locking the backdoor at all times, and opening a rear window to allow vapors to exit). Every inch of the floors look brand-new. Josh took special attention to remove all heat vents, remove closet doors, and get in those hard to reach spots. I couldn't be happier, about the entire process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Functional Floors to family and friends. Thanks again Chris and Josh!
