They came in and quoted us a great price. They said the work would be done in 4 days and they stuck to it. Crew was very knowledgeable and polite.

Excellent service. On time professional , A one quality work. I hired this company because they work with a moving company who moved my furniture out and back in when the floors were completed.

I use functional floors because of some damaged areas and I was treated with a high degree of professionalism. they were clean, respected my home as well as my furniture. they exceeded my expectations and the end result is beautiful. I would highly recommend functional floors to a friend.

We had a horrible experience with this company. The first attempt to refinish our floors resulted in white steaks & what looked like pooling all over the floors in every room. We could see brush strokes everywhere. We were told that this was because they forgot to put the coat of shellac down first... The crew lead came back to re-do the floors, there was still a large white streak across the living room & all of the nail heads in our hallway were still visible. When they came out the third time, we were told, "an area rug is always an option to cover it." After spending almost $3,000. We were also told that if we wanted nail heads covered, it would be an up-charge & we should've told the crew that we didn't want nail heads to be visible when they first started working on our floors. After two failed attempts to refinish our floors, nothing should be an up-charge. Also, when the salesman initially came out to do the estimate, we were told that all nail heads would be covered. No additional cost mentioned. The crew lead attempted to buff out the streak & re-stain the area. It didn't work. They came back for the fourth time & had to re-do the floors again. When pointing out the area in our hallway where nail heads were still visible, I was again told to buy a runner for the hallway to cover them. Again, after spending almost $3,000. During the fourth attempt to fix our floors, one of them hit the molding along our closet with the buffer & cracked it in half. Still haven't heard from them about fixing it. I do not recommend using this company. We had nothing but issues with them & ended up with floors that look decent but not what I would expect for the price that we paid, & now we have additional issues that need to be fixed. Horrible company.

Awesome job very quick

Functional Floors refinished flooring that had been under carpet for many many years. There were also bad water stains. Somehow they made the floors look beautiful again. I was very pleased with the results. They arrived as scheduled and the workers were very nice.
