We interviewed four companies and received quotes we chose Extraordinary Kitchens because they are very professional, knowledgeable and are not high pressured to make a decision. Once we chose the cabinet style and color, James, the designer and John the owner came out to do detailed measurements. We received the final quote within a week along with a 3D drawing which helped to visualize the kitchen. After viewing we made a few changes which helped the over all kitchen. James was very helpful with his ideas and suggestions on utilizing every space in the kitchen, which worked out beautifully. The cabinets were delivered when promised and construction began the next day. John was on site from the first day until completion. All of the contractors were very thorough making sure that all of the work areas were cleaned up at the end of each day. John coordinated all of the subcontractors and has been very thorough. We have called John back for a few adjustments and has responded immediately. We couldn't be happier with the workmanship, quality and overall design of our new kitchen, and highly recommend Extraordinary Kitchens, they provide the highest quality in all areas.

Contacted provider for quote on a complete kitchen remodel. James came out to the house, arrived right on time, and spent at least an hour with me discussing the project. He took detailed measurements and had a quote to me in about a week. The quote includes a nice 3D rendering which helped me visualize it all. He was responsive in making adjustments to the design over the subsequent weeks in order to try to stay under my budget. In the end, I wasn't able to get the design I wanted for the price, and decided to refinish my cabinets myself. As it's an all-in-one service, you will pay a bit of a premium. But if money were no object, I'd definitely contact them for a kitchen remodel.

We were extremely impressed with Extraordinary Kitchens from our initial contact with the salesperson, James. He was knowledgeable, professional, and never tried to pressure us to make a decision on the spot. He was timely in his responses to our phone calls when we had additional questions. He and the company owner, John, came out to do detailed measurements. Their price was substantially more reasonable than the other quote we obtained, and unlike the "big box store", they were able to have a tambour door appliance garage custom made to match the refaced cabinets. We were pleased to find that the materials actually came in a few weeks ahead of schedule so the project could start earlier than originally anticipated. From the first day of construction till completion, John, was on site. He called in advance to let us know what time we could expect them and they were on time every day. To expedite completion, they brought their lunches rather than go out. They were very thorough in keeping the job site, as well as the garage clean, both during construction and at the end of each day. When the project was completed, they made sure things were left spotless and even swept the entire garage floor! The workmanship was fantastic, and we are so amazed with the new look in our kitchen. We would recommend Extraordinary Kitchens to anyone without hesitation!

James, the Sales Consultant and John are great to work with and we didn't have a problem with anything. They answered all our questions, no matter how many times we called. They were very patient while we made up our minds on the cabinet style and color and which quartz countertop we wanted. Jeremy and Gus did a great job working on the cabinets. They were here when they said they would be. I didn't have to sit around and wonder when they would show up. When they left every day they cleaned up and took with them any trash. There were two guys that came to install the quartz and they were only here a few hours. I would and have recommended Extraordinary Kitchens to anyone wanting their kitchen redone. NOTE: If someone has the countertop sink and cooktop cut-out done in the house, be prepared for LOTS of dust. I wasn't prepared for the mess. Even though they have the sheeting over the kitchen doorways, our new dark cabinets looked white after the quartz was cut. The floor was a mess. After two weeks, I am still cleaning the new cabinets from the dust.

I was very pleased with the experience and outcome on my kitchen remodel as well as the services ?Extraordinary Kitchen?s LLC? provided. From consultation to installation, there were no unexpected surprises. Their quality and workmanship is outstanding. I look forward to contracting them for future remodeling projects.

They did an extraordinary job. I was very happy. They were very clean. He came out on time. Very nice guy. He worked very hard. I have no complaints. It went very well.

From the first contact, this whole experience was great! John, the owner, came out and gave us ideas and options. We explained that we needed to keep costs down and he was very considerate of that fact and we were able to stay within our price goal. He gave us a realistic timetable as to how quickly the job could be done. He and his crew did a wonderful job. They were always on time, very respectful and pleasant to be around. When we had a slight problem with a door, he came back out and fixed it. He made it clear that he would try his hardest to make sure we were satisfied customers and we are. We love our new kitchen. My husband and I highly recommend Extraordinary Kitchens to anyone who wants a great kitchen and wants to be treated well. We plan to hire his company again when we're ready to re-do our bathrooms.

After the initial appointment, at which a company rep took measurements and notes regarding the work that would be required for our kitchen remodel, this company seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth. I never heard back from the company, and they have neglected to answer any of my emails. In hindsight, my initial meeting with them at my home was a complete waste of my time. If this is the way they treat potential customers, I hate to think how non-responsive they would be if they were actually hired for a job. All in all, an unprofesional operation.

John is an artist and perfectionist. We have never had a contractor pay so much attention to every detail. He did everything he promised and more. We highly recommended Extraordinary Kitchens to anyone thinking of new Cabernets as well as those who are looking to reface. It is almost impossible to tell if our cabinets are refaced or new.

The planning on what to do was very helpful and expert. They were on-time, They worked diligently and expertly cleaned up after each day. The workmanship and quality of the products were excellent

We have been in touch with Extraordinary Kitchens associate James from May to July, 2013 with regard to developing a price quote for a kitchen remodel. This involved a visit to their office in Livonia, several personal visits by James to our home in White Lake, and numerous emails and phone calls. Throughout the process James was very professional - pleasant, patient, and responsive to all our questions and issues, offering suggestions and ideas for our plans. Although we were pleased with the final plans, unfortunately, the price was a bit higher than another quote we received, so we did not contract with Extraordinary Kitchens for this project.. However, based upon our many contacts with James through this process, we would certainly recommend this company to any others looking to remodel their kitchen.

Responded to my call right away. I was able to schedule a consult with him the following week. James arrived on time. He was polite and listened to my concerns. His estimate was fair. He was very professional.

I called this company for an estimate based on reviews here so I find it only appropriate to write one of my own. We received an estimate for refacing our 70's kitchen cabinets. They were on time (a few minutes early actually) and very courteous while out measuring. I was absolutely shocked at the price quote however- especially after receiving multiple other quotes for brand new kitchens. This was the highest of 7 vendors and this was just for refacing! We are having a brand new kitchen (new custom cabinets and granite countertops) put in for $2000 less than the cost of refacing cabinets ONLY with Extraordinary Kitchens. I'd recommend LaFata in Shelby or NuBuilt in Sterling Heights for those who think refacing will save money. That said, if we really had money to burn and just wanted to reface our cabinets (not sure why anyone would do this now that we know more!) their work examples looked great. I feel confident they do a great job and very good work.

It went wonderful, I have no complaints.

The job was completed on time and on budget. We are very pleased with the work done and the results (even after a year of use). We continue to get rave comments from visitors when they see the kitchen. Our refaced cabinets are better than new and much less expensive. We recommend Extraordinary Kitchens very highly.

The owner understood exactly what I wanted to do because there were a couple of unusual items.

The experience was excellent overall! They were fabulous to work with. They were cost-effective, efficient, very creative, and trustworthy. John really listened to what we wanted to have done, and really addressed any minor details and concerns. They did a great job and I can’t say enough great things about them! We would highly recommend them.

John arrived promptly for our appointment to go over our plans for the kitchen remodel. He listened to our problems with the function of the kitchen and lack of storage. He came up with solutions for our problem areas, and incorporated our ideas. He kept within our budget and minimized the down time of using the kitchen. John and his crew were extremely courteous and professional.

DAY 1 1. We had arranged that a neighbor would let their crew in while my wife and I were working 2. Arrived on time 3. Different crew members performed different tasks simultaneously: Close existing doorway Move cabinets Move electric outlets Remove old countertop and install new countertop Remove old cabinet hardware and install new hardware (hinges, cabinet and draw pulls, hooks) Start the refacing process (I was amazed by the fact that I would never have known that the cabinets were refaced compared to the appearance of a new cabinet) 4. Clean up after Day 1 work DAY 2 5. Complete the new electric outlets, install new light fixtures 6. Continue refacing cabinets 7. Clean up after Day 2 work DAY 3 8. Complete refacing cabinets 9. Clean up after Day 3 work 10. Perform detailed inspection of workmanship and verify all requirements of quote and drawings were complete

John came in with his work crew and had the entire kitchen gutted out in one day. I came in after work and found an empty shell with everything perfectly cleaned. Even my garage was clean and the boxes of cabinets in my garage were pushed over to the side so I could still get my vehicle in the garage. The next day I came home and all my cabinets were in! If I would have had picked out my granite on time, I believe they would have had the kitchen done in a week! But, because I was slow in picking it out, it took an extra week to have the kitchen done. John is a pleasure to work with and always willing to do extras. I had a crack in my ceiling and he had it plastered for me. Even replaced a light in my track lighting. I was trying to keep the costs down to $10,000 or under and he worked very hard to do that. Everyone else that came in with their quotes were higher. Then after the work was finished, I decided to have some roller drawers installed after everything was done (a couple of months later). John came in and installed them and did not charge labor for installing the drawers. I highly recommend John and his work!
