Bill's bid for our job not the highest or lowest but very reasonable compared to others. He communicated clearly, was on time every day, very personable, professional and did excellent quality work to transform our outdated hardwood floor into a key piece of our home remodeling project. His professional advice on stain color, baseboard and toe kick moldings was spot on. I'd hire him again without question and will recommend him to anyone needing flooring work done.

Bill did a phenomenal job. We saw a bunch of pictures online shoeing how bad maple floors can look when finished but Bill put them all to shame. Our floors are the best I've ever seen by a long shot. Bill did a great job, was on time, neat, polite, respectful, courteous, diligent and skilled. He totally knows what he is doing and our flooring never looked better. Pricing was reasonable. Very little dust througfhout the house, some, but very little. Though I cleared everything else out of the hall area, I hadn't thought to empty the closet floors before he arrived, and he had not mentioned that either, but he helped to empty them so he could get his work done. NEXT time, I'll be ready for that and will do it before he gets here. Bill helped with color selection when I asked him how colors looked on our type of wood and the choice I made with his recommendation is absolutely perfect! We love it. He uses high quality products that will hold out for a decade. Scheduling the work was a few months out, which worked just fine for us. The day before this scheduled date, I called to confirm Bill's arrival time and there was a calendar glitch, so we rescheduled. There were a few hours of fumes with the stain application, which I hadn't planned for or thought of, but Bill recommended I leave the house, as he did while the stain dried, and to get away from the fumes for a while. I was glad I had so many fans around still from summer to help move the air! I would have liked beiing told about those things I mentioned above because I just didn't know to even consider them, having never hired a floor refinish before. He did a great job for us, and I highly recommend him!! I would hire him again in the blink of an eye!!

My floors had gaps in between the boards so they needed a significant amount of sanding and expertise to refinish. I can’t believe how great they look. It makes the house seem new. I am very pleased with the work!

We could not be happier with our refinished floors. We purchased a home where the previous owners had pets. When we uncovered the original oak floors they were a mess. Between pet stains, tape, paint and a few warped boards we didnt know if the floors could be saved. Bill came out and gave us an estimate and assured us they were up for the job. Tony, Bill's partner did our floors. Tony is a perfectionist and worked day and night to give us the most beautiful floors. He got out every imperfection that was in the wood. He stayed on time and on budget for the job. We could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Tony and Havelock Floors for your job.

Great job. My floor looks amazing. Bill sanded and refinished my kitchen floor and was thorough and professional. Replaced the shoe molding and stained it to match the (new) stain color on my floor. Meanwhile there was minimal disruption in the house (ie., no dust!). I'm very happy with the work.

Very professional and good care with the shoe molding on the floor. Cleaned up everything before he left the home. Hard working and meticulous regarding the finished product of the floor.
